Part 1: Zekk & Samantha

    In 1968, on a planet far away from Earth named Momu, the Momuian Prince Nyan, who was a cat with light gray fur, blue eyes, that had a body resembling a toaster pastry, ended up having a male kitten with a large sandy colored cat with green eyes named Mepe. This kitten would be named Cloud, as his fur was as white as the clouds, and his eyes were as blue as the sky. Around the same time, on the even further away planet of Umom, the Naiumom Prince Tac, a black cat with red eyes that had a body resembling a waffle, along with his wife Slug, had a female kitten that he named Pitch. Pitch had black fur, and had green eyes that shined like emeralds against her dark fur. A month later, Cloud would be put in a bullet-shaped spaceship by the Momuian Emperor Longcat, an extremely long and massive white cat with blue eyes, while Pitch would be put in a similar spaceship by the Naiumom Emperor Tacgnol, a cat about the same size as Longcat that had black fur and pale green eyes. Both would announce, “Kitten to space!” as they sent their grandchildren to a planet far away from both of theirs, and that planet would be Earth.

    The two ships would crash land in a forest somewhere in North America, where they would leave a small crater, and, while the spaceships themselves had not survived, the kittens were unscathed and asleep. Two cats ran towards the crater, these two being the only ones that weren’t scared away by the impact. One was an orange cat with yellow eyes, and the other was a slender black cat with white legs and blue eyes. Seeing the crater, the white legged cat thought to himself, “So, we’re not the only Momuians on Earth.” before the orange cat told the other cat, “I’ll take the white cat.” “That means I’ll be taking the black one.” the other cat responded. The orange cat was named Tom, and the black cat with white legs was named Whitesocks, and, since neither of them knew the names that the kittens already had, Cloud was renamed to Zekk by Tom, while Whitesocks renamed Pitch to Samantha. They would raise these kittens inside of holes in the ground, using rocks to prevent rain or other animals from coming inside.

    Throughout the next four years, Tom raised Zekk while Whitesocks raised Samantha, and that span of time went without incident. There was one day during this time that three cats met with Tom. One had green eyes and the fur pattern of a leopard, while the other two had very unusual appearance, as one had light gray fur, except for blue water drop shaped patches of fur on each of her sides and had blue eyes, while the other was a sandy colored cat with green eyes that had Egyptian hieroglyphs on the sides of his fur, and while the leopard patterned cat might fool some into thinking she was from Earth if it weren’t for her size, the other two were very clearly Momuian. The leopard patterned cat introduced herself, “Greetings. My name is Leopardspots, and these other two are Rainydroplets and Egyptwritting. We are from southern Momu.” “You three need to learn how to act like Earthling cats! This world will be very dangerous for you if you don’t, especially if you’re around humans!” Tom warned the three. Zekk walked towards Tom and saw the three. “Who is that kitten?” Leopardspots asked. Tom explained to the three, “Oh, this is Zekk! I’ve been raising him!” After this, the five spent some time together, with Zekk thinking that the three, despite their strange fur patterns, were just ordinary cats.

    The next eventful moment in Zekk’s upbringing would happen in 1972, when Tom told him, “I’m getting too old to do everything for you. It’s time for you to learn how to survive in this world, as if you don’t, you might get killed by a wild animal, or even taken away by a human! If a human takes you away, then at best, your bloodline will be over! Let’s start with teaching you how to hunt.” In time, he would teach Zekk how to hunt, as well as some other important survival skills. Whitesocks would do the same with Samantha.

    This continued for years, until eventually, Zekk and Samantha had surpassed their adopted parents, as age continued to progress for Tom and Whitesocks, who were a similar age to each other. Both Zekk and Samantha grew to have a larger build than the average cat, due in part to them not being from Earth, as Zekk was around 28 pounds, and Samantha was about 37 pounds. It was one night in 1976 that Tom told Zekk something that would be very shocking to the white cat. “Zekk, I’m not going to lie to you, I don’t think you’re from this world. When we found you and Samantha, it was right after a shooting star fell into the forest. I don’t think me, Whitesocks, and the two of you are much different from each other though. I remembered my parents told me that me and him fell from the sky when we were kittens as well. Zekk, I don’t know if it’s possible, but do you think that we might be from the same place?” To this, Zekk answered with another question, “There are places beyond the sky?” “I don’t know myself, but Whitesocks thinks there must be! Anyways, we should go to sleep, we have more to do in the morning!” Tom told Zekk. Tom, in truth, already knew that he was Momuian, as did Whitesocks, but Zekk and Samantha were not as aware of this, and didn’t know why they aged more than twice as slow as Earthling cats do.

    The peaceful life that the four cats had would come to an end in one fall day in 1978, as Tom predicted that disaster was near. He told Zekk, as they were walking outside, “Zekk, I fear that my end may be near. Two weeks ago, Whitesocks told me he witnessed a huge, bloody battle between the other cats in this forest. I didn’t think much of it at first, but when I went to go visit him five days later, I found that he had been killed. I found Samantha hiding in the bushes, and she told me that a large yellow cat introduced himself as Lightning, and after speaking, she told me that in an instant, the cat had slashed the life out of Whitesocks. Anyways, the reason I’m telling you about this is because a cat like that could attack us at any ti-!” Tom was then cut off by a gray blur scratching and biting at him, and in seconds, a small, yet fully grown female gray cat with amber eyes was standing over the body of what was once the cat that raised Zekk. The cat turned around and screeched, assuming from his large size that he must have been a house cat, “Die, outsider! My kittens will die with you around!” To this, Zekk replied, “Try shorty!” before the cat pounced on him, tearing at him until Zekk was in a coma. Before the cat could deliver an attack that would have ended Zekk, Leopardspots jumped down from the trees and bit Zekk’s attacker. This caused the gray cat to run away, as she mistook Leopardspots for an actual leopard. She then spoke to the body that once contained Tom, “Thank you, Tom, for everything. I know I can’t really repay you for all you have done to help me live in this world, but making sure that Zekk doesn’t die here is something I can do.”

    Not long after the devastating attack, Samantha found both Tom and Zekk on the ground. She cried, “Zekk! Tom!” and thought that both cats were dead, until she got close to Zekk and gasped, “He’s alive!” “He is, but he won’t be able to wake up for a while.” Leopardspots told her. Immediately, Samantha began tending to Zekk’s wounds, which were deep, and as Samantha was doing this, Leopardspots buried Tom. Afterwards, she told Samantha, “I’m leaving the rest to you, Samantha. I have to return to my siblings.” After this, Leopardspots departed, and left the forest with Egyptwritting and Rainydroplets, and would travel the world after that. Despite Samantha’s efforts, it seemed hopeless that Zekk would survive, but Samantha refused to give up, as she took care of him in her home for days, which became weeks, which became months, which became a total of around five years, and during this entire time, she remained hopeful that one day, the cat would open his blue eyes once again. During this time, many of the other cats living in the forest hurled insults at her, calling her plump like a house cat due to her unusual size, and even saying that Lightning should have killed her just like he did with Whitesocks. At one point, Samantha’s hole started caving in, so she had to relocate herself and Zekk to the hole that Zekk and Tom used to live in. Finally, a miracle would come in the fall of 1983, when Zekk awoke once more, with his wounds healed and most of his scars not visible except for if one were up close.

    When Zekk awoke, Samantha cried with joy, “You’re awake! You’ve been out for five years!” before she explained to him what had happened while he was out, as well as how Whitesocks was killed, though Zekk already knew that part. After hearing Samantha talk for a while, Zekk told her, “You must not have ate in a while. I will get you a mouse!” Afterwards, he left the hole and searched for a while before he found a pile of freshly killed small animals, including mice. He told himself, “I can already taste these mice!” before a brown cat with eyes that are like that of a bird walked up to him with a stern look, as Zekk had intruded upon his pile of prey. Zekk told this cat, “Hey there, fish-eyed fool!” to which the cat remarked, “My eyes are more like a bird than that of river prey!” before tossing a bunch of insults at him as Zekk walked away to go back to Samantha’s hole. When he returned, he told the black cat, “You were right!”

    The two would continue living in that hole for three and a half years, where they surviving by hunting without joining with other cats. They would also learn how to catch fish in the rivers, making their options for food more plentiful in a forest where there’s always competition with other cats and animals. The bond between Zekk and Samantha would become stronger during this time, and eventually, they would fall in love. A change in this lifestyle would occur in the spring of 1987, when both of them decided to move to a clearing in the forest, despite the hazards that doing so could bring. Cats did occasionally visit the clearing, but they would not attack them, as Zekk had become friends with a group of the cats, gaining their protection.

Part 2: Birth of Sam

    This peaceful life would continue into 1992, with their love evolving into Samantha becoming pregnant. On one fall day, Samantha told Zekk, “I think that I will have a kitten in three months.” Similar to how Momuians age slower than Earthling cats, it also takes longer for them to be born. Soon after she told Zekk this information, he went to go hunt, and while he was hunting, he saw a cat with grayish-blue fur and blue eyes who appeared to be confused. Zekk asked him, “Are you part of one of those groups?” “No, I Tom’s son. Smoky a runaway cat like Tom.” the cat told him. Smoky, while sounding unintelligent with his speech, is intelligent enough to survive on his own. Smoky was not, however, familiar with the forest he was in. Zekk replied, “I’m Zekk! You should come live with me and Samantha! I was raised by Tom, and my mate Samantha was raised by Whitesocks!” When he heard this, Smoky’s eyes lit up, with him cheerfully responding, “Whitesocks? Uncle Whitesocks?! Okay, Smoky go with Zekk!” With this, Smoky began living with Zekk and Samantha.

    It was nearing the end of 1992, when one night, every cat in the forest got the same dream. In the dream, there was a tuxedo kitten, and afterwards, there was human-like shadowy figure with glowing red eyes that was running through the forest under the cover of darkness. The figure stopped as it reached a black cat, and the figure made her fade away until nothing of her remained. After the black cat faded, the tuxedo kitten and a white cat ran in opposite directions. After that, everything went dark, and all the cats could see was the face of a cat with bright yellow fur and green eyes that shined bright in the darkness. After this, the dream ended, and all the cats woke up at once in the middle of the night. This dream caused Samantha to tell Zekk in a panic, “I had a strange dream last night. There was a black and white kitten, and I saw a human, and after that, the human made the black cat fade to nothing. Then, I saw the kitten and a white cat run in opposite directions, and then I saw a yellow cat with green eyes! Did the dream prophecize my own death?” “I don’t know Samantha, but I think we should go to sleep.” Zekk replied with a yawn. At the same time, Smoky was speaking with two other cats, telling them, “Smoky had the same dream!” One of the cats told him that they also had the same dream, while the other cat told him, “It must be a prophecy from our ancestors!” “Really? How you know?” Smoky asked, not understanding the concept. This caused the other cats to give Smoky a strange stare.

    The next day was the beginning of 1993, and it saw Samantha give birth to a male tuxedo kitten with eyes that were green like hers, and even this joyful moment reminded her of the dream. As Samantha was deep in though, Zekk announced, “I’ll name him Samuel, or Sam for short!” While Samantha wasn’t responding, Zekk told his son, “Hi there Samuel! I’m your father, Zekk!” Smoky saw this, so he ran towards them and added, “Hi Sam, me Smoky! Smoky a runaway cat like Tom!” Zekk then turned to Smoky with a dumbfounded expression on his face and told him, “He doesn’t know what you’re talking about.” “What Zekk mean?” Smoky asked, confused. This caused Sam to laugh and say “Smoky!” in a mocking manner. “And his first word is Smoky’s name.” Zekk stated with a sigh.

    Two months later, Zekk told Sam, “I’m going to teach you how to hunt, son!” He then tried to catch a mouse by pouncing on it, but the mouse ran away as Zekk’s face ended up in a bush. “Step one, don’t do what I just did!” Zekk told his son in embarrassment. After he got his head out of the bush, he saw that Sam had already caught a mouse. Zekk congratulated his son by telling him, “Your first mouse! You learn quick!” These times were peaceful, and many of the cats had already forgotten about the dream, but this peace would soon be coming to an end.

    One fateful day that March, Zekk, Samantha, and Sam were relaxing in the forest clearing, while Smoky was absent. This relaxation would end, however, when a human with a sword jumped down from the trees. The human an orange suit and a light orange mask that had lines going horizontally, and in that mask, there was a square hole where you could see the human’s blue eyes. This human’s sword, with an orange hilt and a dark blue blade that had a light blue line going across it, was face to face with Samantha. At that moment, the human shouted, “You will die!” “Goodbye world!” Samantha cried before the human stabbed her through the heart, ending her life. In a panic, Sam and Zekk ran in opposite directions as Zekk shouted, “No, Sam!” His son did not hear him, however, and the two were soon out of sight of each other, as the human gave chase to Sam, who was running with all he had. Due to his small size and the fact he was a cat, he was able to easily avoid the human’s attacks, until eventually, the killer was out of his sight. Before long, Sam saw light as he reached the edge of the forest he was in, and he ran out of the forest into the open fields.

Part 3: Rise of the Commanders

    Three years before the attack, being 1990, in the world of humans that existed beyond the forest, there was a 14 year old girl with blue eyes and dyed orange hair, who wore a black and pink t-shirt, gray pants, and black shoes. This girl was going to a meetup with four other people, and her name was Pink. The meetup had been planned weeks prior by her friend Chris, whose nickname was Red, and while Pink had a dream of one day becoming a singer, Red had different plans. Pink arrived at a beautiful clear lake just outside of a forest, one that was home to a lot of plant and animal life, and there, she saw the four others. Besides Pink, there was a tall boy around Pink’s age with hair that was blood red on the sides, and at the center, his hair was black. This boy had orange eyes that were like fire, and wore a red shirt, black pants, and black shoes. This appearance was topped by an air of dominance that commanded the attention of Pink and the three others, and this boy was Red. One of the other three was a boy, also around the same age, that was shorter than the others that had spiky green hair, green eyes, and wore a green shirt, black pants, and brown shoes, this was Green. Another was a muscular man who was about six years older than Pink and Red, who had short black hair, blue eyes, a black tank top, blue shorts, and black shoes. This was Blue. Lastly, there was a man that was just over a year younger than Blue that had blonde hair and gold eyes, who was wearing a brown leather jacket over a yellow shirt, and wore black jeans with a brown belt and brown shoes, with this man being known as Yellow.

    After the five exchanged acknowledging looks at each other, Red began his speech, telling the others, “Humans are a corrupt species! They intend to destroy nature’s beauty for their own selfish means!” He then faced behind him, towards the lake, and continued, “You see this lake? This lake is called Beauty Lake due to its natural beauty, and this lake is home to many plants, fish, and other wildlife, and humans plan to do something that will destroy the lake and the life that relies on it! How, you may ask? They plan to build a road over it!” When he spoke the last sentence, the faces of the other four turned to that of shock, disgust, and rage. Red then announced, with anger and terrifying confidence in his voice, “This lake is one of the most beautiful in this country, and a home to many! I will not let humanity destroy it with their bridges and car pollution, and as such, I have a plan!” 

    He then picked up a large green bag with a red peace symbol that he had behind him, and he pulled out five suits, each the color of the five’s nicknames, except for one that was orange instead of pink. The suits were given to the person with the matching nickname for their colors, with the exception of Pink, who got the orange suit. Along with these five suits, he pulled out a slender sword of iron with an orange hilt, two large solar panels, two small steel knives with green hilts, and a massive titanium sledgehammer. Red gave the sword to Pink, the solar panels to Yellow, the knives to Green, and the sledgehammer to Blue, while Red himself did not appear to have a weapon. He then continued, “With these elastic, yet powerful suits that are strong enough to block bullets, along with these weapons, we will be able to kill humans quickly and efficiently without leaving behind enough in the way of evidence for them to discover us, and yes, the gloves on the suits leave no fingerprints! Any questions?” There was one question the others had, with Blue being the one to ask Red, “Yeah, I do have a question! How are you supposed to kill anyone without a weapon?” Hearing this, Red pointed to five large crystals on the top of the suit’s mask and told Blue with a deadpan voice, “I do have weapons! Do you see these crystals?” “Yeah, they’re hard to miss.” Blue answered mockingly. Red then explained to the other four, “These are called Aura Crystals, and through extraterrestrial technology, I can convert their energy into power for me to use! The power in these crystals can be used to fly, breathe in space and underwater, create fireballs and even tornadoes! It can also take the aura, which is energy that comes from someone’s soul, and add it to my power like some kind of aura vampire! Also, if for some reason, I ever run out of power,” Red paused as he pulled vials of a clear liquid out of his bag, before finishing, “With this mysterious liquid, I can restore the power of my suit! Any other questions?” “Nope.” Pink answered, not wanting to hear any more of what she thought was nonsense. “Good.” Red replied, before he continued, “Now, our goal for right now is to kill all humans in North America! Once we have done that, we will broaden our reach to the rest of the world! This may be a difficult task, but I believe that together,” There was a brief pause, before Red finished by shouting, “We can do this!” The other four cheered as he spoke this, before putting on their suits.

    Yellow became the all yellow suited Commander Yellow, his mask having a star shaped cutout for his eyes and nose. His solar panels proved to be an impractical weapon, and he would use them to attempt to blind bald eagles. This would attract police officers on occasion, who Commander Yellow would kill by smashing them on the head with his panels. When he wasn’t Commander Yellow, Yellow would work as a park ranger. Green became Commander Green, with a green suit that had two square cutouts for his eyes, and darker green stripes going vertically and horizontally across the center of his mask, with another green stripe going down his suit, as well as other stripes to give the illusion of a separation where there would be gloves, a belt, and shoes. With his two knives, he would ambush people under the cover of the night and would swiftly slice them to death before they could wake up and scream for help, and he would show no mercy even to families. His favorite targets were those camping outside, as he saw those as easy prey. When he wasn’t killing, Green abandoned his old life to meditate in the forest.

    Blue became the all blue suited Commander Blue, with a water drop shaped hole in his mask for his eyes and nose. With his great muscular strength and his massive hammer, he caused highway traffic accidents by creating deep holes in roads, destroying bridges, or in some cases, by smashing cars with his hammer. In most of his attacks, he would destroy the highway he was on badly enough that it could no longer be driven on. When he wasn’t causing destruction on the highways, Blue’s day job was to be a television news anchor. In one instance, Blue even had to cover a news story about his own attacks, and managed to fool his audience into believing he had nothing to do with the destruction. Red became Commander Red, with his red suit that had a flame shaped hole in its mask for Red’s eyes and nose. The five crystals on the top of his mask were no longer black, as each crystal now glowed a different color. One crystal was yellow, one was blue, another was green, one was pink, and the last crystal was red, the same colors as all five commanders. People who witnessed his mask’s appearance often compared it to that of a turkey. He used the power of his crystals to fly, as well as to create tornadoes that destroyed parts of cities. Of the five, Commander Red’s attacks were the deadliest, with Commander Blue being in a distant second, though the casualties of Blue’s attacks were nothing to scoff at either.

    Lastly, Pink became the orange suited Commander Pink, whose appearance was identical in nearly every way to the killer from years later, with the only two glaring differences being that Pink was younger, and the sword shined silver as opposed to blue. Commander Pink took a different approach to the others, as while the other four Commanders attacked places in the US, she attacked places in Canada, where they would be less likely to suspect an attack from the group. One day, Commander Pink attacked the apartment home of a married couple, one being a bald headed man with green eyes, that wore a plain brown polo and black pants, and the other being a blonde haired lady with blue eyes that wore a plain red dress. “Have you heard about the big blue guy attacking highways down below the border?” the man asked his wife, who replied, “I have, but that red guy who attacked Las Vegas with tornadoes scares me even more!” Before her husband could say more, an orange blur dashed towards him and before the two knew it, Commander Pink’s sword had gone through the man’s stomach. “Honey, are you alright?!” his wife screamed, as the man replied, looking down at the sword going through him, “I... don’t think so...” before falling unconscious from blood loss. Commander Pink then sliced him in half in a way that sent his upper half flying, with her suit becoming covered in his blood. She then proceeded to to do the same to his wife, who was screaming, “Noooooo-!” before being abruptly cut off by her head hitting the ceiling. Both of them had been killed. Just when Commander Pink, whose sword was now red with blood, thought she was finished, a six year old girl who had blonde hair, green eyes, and wore a yellow shirt and gray pants ran out of her room after hearing her mother scream. She saw the killer standing over the corpses of her parents, which caused her to cry in a deafening scream, “Mommyyyy! Aaaaaaaheeeee!” Commander Pink, knowing that the girl’s scream was likely to attract the attention of her neighbors, decided that her best course of action was to jump out the window, which she did successfully. Once she landed on her feet, she dashed away from the scene, with the child still screaming.

    What Pink was not aware of was that this girl would remember what she saw, and more importantly for her, who she saw. This young girl would hold a grudge over the killing for years, before eventually learning about a wealthy man named Ollie Wilburn that had wavy blonde hair and icy blue eyes. She learned of this man by watching an interview where he talked about aura. While the interviewer dismissed Ollie’s comments as occult nonsense, only listening to it because of the power of Ollie’s wealth making him something of a celebrity, his comments made the girl think aloud to herself, “Ollie can help me... to learn... aura.” She paused and thought after making this comment, before adding, “...He can help me be strong, so I can beat Commander Pink.” The girl’s journey to find Ollie would lead her to traveling south of the Canadian border, leading her to the state of Maryland in the US, which was where Ollie resided in his great mansion.

Part 4: Avril & Commander Pink

    It was the summer of 1991, when the girl got to meet Ollie in person. He was wearing a fancy white suit, white pants, and gold shoes. “Who are you, young lady? Where are your parents?” he asked her. She replied, “My name is Avril, and my parents were killed by Commander Pink. I want to learn aura so I can avenge them!” “You want to learn aura in order to fight? Avril, what is your dream?” Ollie asked her with curiosity. “I want to be a singer!” Avril answered. “Singing and aura? Those are two things that are difficult to master. You really do dream big.” Ollie replied, before he thought, and added, “By the time I’ve finished training you, you will be able to combine your singing voice and your aura. I may want to warn you, however, that learning both will take time.” “I’m willing to do it!” Avril told him with determination in her voice. “That’s what I like to hear!” Ollie replied. Ollie’s methods for training Avril were impractical for most people, but Ollie himself was a true master of aura. Ollie could not help her master singing or aura by himself, but he did teach her enough of the basics in hopes that Avril would one day be able to hold her own in combat with other aura users. One evening, Ollie thought to himself, “This girl is promising. Maybe one day, she’ll be able to defeat that annoying Commander Red person too!” These were Ollie’s true motives, his target was not Commander Pink, but rather, Commander Red himself, as he saw his use of aura as problematic.

    By the time the year became 1993, Commander Red killed over 85,890 people and left four cities in ruin, with Commander Blue taking over 6,420 lives and totaling over 2,450 cars. The body count of the other three were nowhere near as high, but still higher than the average killer, with Commander Green having slashed the life out of 346 people. Commander Pink killed 197 people, but had many close calls where she was almost caught. Lastly, Commander Yellow had the lowest body count, having killed 73. The reason for this lower number was due to the fact that Commander Yellow only targeted police officers, sparing ordinary people. Between the five of them, the five Commanders claimed the lives of 92,938, a gigantic number for only five people. 

    There was one line the Commanders would never cross, however, and that was taking the lives of animals. This would change on one snowy day in February 1993, which started with Commander Pink finding a pine tree with branches that gave it an appearance that resembled an arrow. “So this is one of the fabled arrow pines.” she remarked. Little did Commander Pink know, she was being watched. When she felt this presence, she turned around and saw a man, and immediately tried to stab him with her sword. This man, who Commander Pink did not know was Ollie, and instead of a fancy suit, he was wearing an orange hoodie, blue jeans, and black shoes. When Commander Pink tried to stab him, he grabbed her sword and snapped it like it were a twig. “My name is Ollie Wilburn, and I must tell you something.” Ollie told her with a serious tone, with Pink responding in a panic, “What?! What do you want?!” Ollie proceeded to hand Commander Pink a picture as he told her, “I need you to kill these three.” She looked at the picture, and it showed a black cat, a white cat, and a tuxedo kitten in a forest clearing, being Samantha, Zekk, and Sam. Commander Pink paused for a moment before asking with surprise, “You... want me to kill three cats?” “These three are no ordinary cats! They’re aliens from outer space who were sent here to destroy Earth, and they just don’t know it yet! Your purpose is to defend nature, right? Trust me when I say, they will ruin this planet. There will not be a single plant or animal left alive if they’re not taken care of. When these three realize what they are, they’re going to call their friends, and when those friends get here, they’re gonna turn this planet into one giant launchpad and blow it to pieces. Thankfully for us, there is still time! They are located in Cat Forest, which is right by where Beauty Lake is!” Ollie told her before pulling a new sword out of his hoodie that was similar to Pink’s previous sword, except the blade was a dark blue with a blue line going through the center, and the orange hilt had a big “W” engraved into it. Ollie gave her the sword and told her, “Have this and go get ‘em! It’s made of cobalt mithril, the strongest metal in the known cosmos, and the hilt has my family crest! Also, try to stab me now!” She attempted to, but he flew away as such high speeds that it created a sonic boom, blowing the snow off of the arrow pine behind Commander Pink.

    “Okay, everything besides my old sword survived that.” Commander Pink thought out loud before letting out a big sigh, and continuing, “But now I have to get to Cat Forest. That’s going to be a really long walk. I might just go to the nearest phone booth to call Commander Red to pick me up and fly me there.” She then dashed away, not knowing that someone heard her from behind a tree, that person being Avril. “So, Cat Forest? If I head there, I can avenge my parents, but, that’s really far away. I guess I’m just going to have to use my aura to get me there faster.” Avril told herself, before floating in the air and flying at a speed that was barely faster than a car. Commander Pink, on the other hand, managed to get Commander Red to pick her up, and both flew towards the same destination, Cat Forest.

    Commander Pink arrived at Cat Forest in the evening on February 24th, and began to try to put up a tent, but no matter what she did, it kept falling down. “How do I even set up this thing?” she thought to herself. Commander Yellow, who happened to live in the area saw this and asked, “Do you need help with that?” “Do you know how to set this thing up? No matter what I do, it keeps falling down.” Pink asked him. “That should be pretty easy!” Yellow replied, and within minutes, the tent was set up. “It’s getting late, so I’m going back to my cabin. Bye.” Commander Yellow told her, and he left before she could thank him. In the days that followed, Commander Pink would search the forest for the cats in the picture, but while she saw other cats, she could not find the cats.

    She kept searching until March 18, when, at dawn, something completely unexpected happened to Commander Pink. There was a loud musical sound that hit her tent as she was sleeping, and this sound caused the tent to fall apart. This combination woke the killer up, and she saw that the one who disturbed her sleep was Avril, that little girl she met three years ago. “I’m Avril, and you will pay for what you did to my parents! I will take you down with my aura and singing as one!” she told her, making sure that Commander Pink heard her name. “Aura?!” Pink asked in shock, hearing something forming around Avril’s mouth. Pink knew, at this moment, the roles were reversed to how it was three years ago. Avril was the powerless one before Commander Pink’s might back when the two first met, but this time, it was Pink who was the powerless one. Before Avril could finish preparing her attack, Commander Pink ran into the forest. “Aw man, she escaped before I could use my Song Beam! I’ll have to think of what to do now...” Avril complained.

    Commander Pink jumped into the trees, and as she ran, she found the forest clearing as well as the cats that she was targeting. Samantha sensed Pink’s presence without knowing what it was that she was sensing, and she began shaking nervously. “Calm down Samantha, you’re making our little Samuel worried! Do you need me to catch you a fish?” Zekk asked, with Samantha responding, “No, it’s something else...” Commander Pink thought the cats were speaking English, when the reality was that the cats were unknowingly able to make their speech able to be understood in any language, a subconscious use of aura that was natural for Momuians. It was due to this that she knew she had her targets, so she jumped down from the trees, with her sword pointed at Samantha. Samantha cried, “Goodbye world!” before Commander Pink stabbed her through the heart. Afterwards, Zekk and Sam would run in opposite directions, and it was Sam that Commander Pink chose to pursue. The cat did not realize, however, that the killer had made one grave mistake, and that was the fact that Pink had left her sword inside of her victim, meaning she now had no weapon.

Part 5: Sam Meets Avril, Fall of Pink & Yellow

    When Sam reached the open field, he saw a smaller human than he saw in the forest near a battered tent, this human being Avril. Unlike his experience with Commander Pink, he could sense that this girl was not a threat to him, so Sam approached her. “Who are you?” Sam asked her, with Avril responding, “My name is Avril. I’m nine years old, and my dream is to be a singer, but...” Avril went silent as she realized she was talking to a kitten, a kitten that spoke to her. She asked, “Who are you?” “My name is Sam. My mother got killed by a human in orange.” Sam told her, which led Avril to respond, “You too?” Sam had no idea of what Avril’s past was, but the two had one thing in common. Commander Pink violently took their parents away, killing Avril’s parents and Sam’s mother, and causing Sam to be separated from his father. It was thanks to her that both were alone in the world. “This is the work of Commander Pink.” Avril told Sam, with Sam asking, “What is Commander Pink?” Avril explained to the kitten, “The Commanders are five deadly assassins who have killed nearly 100,000 people so far. Commander Pink is one of them, she’s the orange one. Commander Pink killed my parents, and it sounds like she killed your mother too. She’s killed 197 so far... Wait! With your mom, that’s 198 now! There’s four others like her, and the only one that’s weaker is Commander Yellow, since he killed less than a hundred people, and only cops! There are three that are scarier than her. Commander Green has killed almost 350 people, Commander Blue has killed over 6,000, and their boss, Commander Red has killed over 85,000!” There were certain parts of what she spoke that Sam didn’t understand, as he had no concept of what a police officer was, and didn’t have a grasp of just how many people 100,000 was, but he understood that the five she was talking about were very dangerous, and that Avril, despite being a different species, had a lot in common with him. After Avril finished explaining who the Commanders were to Sam, something dashed towards them. It was Commander Pink.

    Commander Pink was just about to go for the kill against Sam with her fists, when Avril turned towards her, causing her to jump. “Commander Pink, I see you have returned! Prepare to die!” Avril told the killer, before preparing an attack with her mouth. Commander Pink was prepared to run as she did the previous time, before Sam scratched at her feet with such force that they got sliced off, meaning escape was no longer an option. As Commander Pink fell to the ground, she cried in terror, “What is this?!” before a concentrated blast of music amplified by aura to be extremely loud came out of Avril’s mouth and hit Commander Pink’s head, causing it to explode into countless bloody pieces. After this, the rest of her body fell to the ground, which was covered in her own blood. As silence began to fall over the field, Avril cried tears of joy, as the realization hit her, “Did we just... Did we just avenge our parents?” This caused Sam to begin to smile as well, with him adding, “Take that for what you did to my mother!”

    After the two celebrated the fact that they avenged their parents, Avril told Sam, her face turning serious, “I don’t think this is over, Sam.” “What do you mean?” Sam asked. Avril explained, “When the other Commanders find out about this, we’re gonna become their biggest target. I think we need to defeat them before they beat us!” After hearing this, all of Sam’s remaining joy had left him. Avril continued, “We should go after Commander Yellow first, since he’s the closest and the weakest. He’s in a cabin at the other side of the forest.” After she finished, Avril and Sam would walk through the forest to find their next target.

    In a different part of Cat Forest, Zekk was still running, with Smoky having joined in, until eventually, Zekk realized that the killer lost sight of him long ago. At this point, Zekk began to mourn over losing his mate and his son, when a cat with dark brown fur and bright yellow eyes approached the two, asking, “Are you okay?” “Horrible thing happen to Smoky and Zekk! Zekk mate killed by person and kitten run away! We alone!” Smoky replied in a panic, with Zekk attempting to clarify, “I’m Zekk. My mate was killed by a human, with me and Smoky running away so we wouldn’t get killed too. I tried to have my kitten follow me, but he ran the opposite way. I just lost both my mate and my son.” “That’s horrible!” the cat replied before introducing himself, continuing, “I’m Roar, and I’m from a group of cats. Follow me.” The two followed him and reached a secluded area of the forest where a group of over a dozen cats lived. Seeing the three, a muscular black cat with yellow eyes approached them and told Zekk, “You must be the white cat that Smoky kept talking about. I’m Thicket. I’m the leader of these cats you see here. We’re the Tree Cats.” “Human kill Zekk mate and Zekk kitten run away!” Smoky told Thicket, explaining the situation. “If there’s a human roaming the forest, it’s definitely not safe for the two of you to be living alone in that clearing. How about you two stay here with us?” Thicket asked Zekk and Smoky. To this, Zekk replied, “That sounds like a great idea!” For some time to come, the two would live among the Tree Cats, hunting for them as they did for themselves, and while the two were not originally members of the group, they eventually accepted the two as their own.

    Sam and Avril ended up crossing through Cat Forest without incident, and once they reached the other side, they found a cabin with solar panels on its roof. The two approached the cabin cautiously, and saw that no one was standing on the front porch, and the door was wide open. The two let themselves in, and they saw a large gun collection. Avril went to take a closer look, and made a stunning observation. She ran to Sam and told him, “Those are all weapons from cops! We’re in the right place!” The two continued searching the house and saw that the back door was also open. “Maybe something’s out back!” Avril suggested to Sam, before the two went out that door. When they stepped out, they could see the unmistakable yellow suit of Commander Yellow, who was pointing the solar panels in his hands at the sky, hoping that they would blind a bald eagle. “Hey, you!” Avril shouted at him to try to get his attention. He responded, “Could you hang on a minute? I’m trying to blind some bald eagles right now.” “Blinding bald eagles? That yellow suit? Those guns? This has to be Commander Yellow!” Avril whispered to Sam. After she said this, Commander Yellow turned around and asked them, “Are you the two who killed Commander Pink?” His face then got more serious, as he continued, “Get out right now.” He began to dash at Avril and swung one of his solar panels, but she proceeded to grab it right out of his hands. She then tossed the solar panel at high speeds in such a way that it decapitated Commander Yellow, before eventually striking a rock and shattering. Afterwards, Avril turned back to Sam and told him, “That was Commander Yellow! Commander Green is probably at a campground somewhere not too far from here, we should go find him!” The two then left the cabin to find a place like Avril described.

Part 6: Attack on the Commanders

    The next day seemed like an ordinary work day for Blue, as he dressed up in a black polo, blue tie, black pants, and black shoes to go to work. He arrived at the news station and was about to go on to Blue News, when he read over a news story that he was supposed to be covering. “No way, Pink and Yellow got killed?! Who could’ve done this?!” he thought to himself, as he tried to remain calm as to not give away his identity. He went on to report his news stories he had set up for the day, when he read about the situation live for the world to hear. “We have received reports that the bodies of Commander Pink and Commander Yellow have been found just outside of a forest in western Virginia! Remember, I said western Virginia, not West Virginia! Commander Pink was found with her head blown to bits and her feet chopped off, while Commander Yellow was found decapitated, with shards of one of his solar panels found near where his body was found. Police have been able to find nothing about who or what may have killed them, and they currently suspect that Commander Pink was killed by some sort of wild animal, and think that Commander Yellow’s death was likely an accident. Police also confiscated a large collection of guns that belonged to now deceased police officers that Commander Yellow murdered back when he was alive.” Blue then continued to his next story, while knowing deep down that the deaths of his comrades were no accident. The truth would not become known to most outside of Avril and Sam, however, as the actual course of events would have been seen as too absurd to be even remotely possible.

    After a long search that took months, on June 24, Sam and Avril reached a campground where they saw a large commotion, with many people gathered around. The two walked towards these people, with Avril asking, “What happened here?” “A family got murdered in their sleep here last night! They’re thinking that with the knife wounds they have, that the culprit is none other than Commander Green!” one of the people explained to her in a panic. Sam and Avril then stepped away from the scene, as Avril suggested, “We should wait here for tonight to see if he tries to strike again!” Avril found a place around the campground that wasn’t occupied and set up a tent. A man saw this that worked there and sternly told them, “Hey, you know that this place isn’t free! Also, didn’t you see the sign that says ‘No pets allowed’?!” “I’m no pet!” Sam screeched at the man, who proceeded to pull out a gun in panic. “Are you Commander Green?!” Sam asked with a hiss. The three then heard a voice from the trees respond, “No.” 

    Shortly after they heard this, a green blur jumped down from the trees faster than their eyes could keep up with, slashing at the man who had pointed the gun at Sam, and they kept slashing until the man was dead. After the man breathed his final breath, the blur stopped moving, with Avril finally being able to make out that the person who attacked was none other than the green suited Commander Green. After this, Sam mustered up his strength to do a roar. “How in the-?!” Avril began to say before a mountain lion jumped out of the trees, ripping Commander Green to shreds, and running back into the trees afterwards. “No way...!” Avril gasped in shock. Sam knew what he did, however. He used his abilities to speak in a way that the mountain lion could understand, using the same way he was able to speak to humans. “So, who’s next?” Sam asked. Avril, barely able to contain her shock, answered, “Commander Blue should be on a bridge they built over a nearby lake.” “Well, let’s go there before he kills more people!” Sam told her. The two then went to find the car smashing Commander.

    After Commander Green was killed, Commander Red attempted to summon a tornado, but ended up with one much weaker than he had hoped. Instead of killing people and destroying buildings, it only blew around objects that weren’t stuck firmly to the ground and destroyed windows. If that wasn’t bad enough for him, his flying also became more clumsy. “You’ve got to be kidding me! Did Green get killed too?!” he asked himself, as on his mask, three of his crystals had gone dark, with only the red crystal and blue crystal still lit up. “If Commander Blue dies, I’ll lose my ability to fly as well! I have to come up with some kind of plan!” he added with frustration.

    Soon after defeating the previous Commander, Sam and Avril arrived on a bridge that goes over a lake, just as Avril described. There, they found Commander Blue, who seemed enormous to the two of them, smashing cars with his massive hammer. While he was smashing cars, he repeatedly shouted, “How dare you destroy the planet with your exhaust?!” Cars and trucks were exploding, people were dying in large numbers, and some vehicles were even falling off of the bridge, causing even more destruction to the nearby environment that Commander Blue claimed to protect. Avril exclaimed, “This is horrible!” “Then, let’s do something about it!” Sam replied. The two ran towards where the muscular Commander was, and Avril shouted “Commander Blue!” to get his attention. This caused Blue to stop, facing the two, and although they were much smaller than he was, he could sense something about Sam and Avril that made him afraid. “You...! You killed Commanders Pink, Green, and Yellow! I’ll smash you to bits for hurting my friends!” he screamed. After speaking, he attempted to swing his hammer down to hit Avril, who swiftly dodged, and before Commander Blue could lift his hammer back up, Sam jumped on top of it. Sam proceeded to use the hammer to run up towards Blue’s face, and shouted, “Take this!” as he scratched the killer’s eyes out. “Ow! What did you do?! I can’t see anything!” Blue screamed in agony as he began stumbling around, unknowingly getting near the edge of the bridge. Before he knew it, he fell off of the bridge, shouting, “Commander Red will get you for this!” He proceeded to fall into the lake below, which didn’t kill him immediately due to his raw strength, but due to his lack of eyesight, he would be unable to escape. He would eventually drown there, as no one was willing to save him. “So, where is Commander Red?” Sam asked Avril. “I hear he built a base in the middle of the desert, so he might be there!” she answered. The two then proceeded to head off. In the following days after they found his body, they would learn that the Blue who told the news on TV, and the Commander Blue who took the lives of thousands were one in the same. Due to this, Blue News would swiftly be taken off the air.

    Avril and Sam would travel a long distance, beyond forests, plains, mountains, and eventually reached the desert. On August 7, somewhere in Nevada, they saw something that shined red in the desert. The two approached and found a large lone building that resembled a castle, shining like a ruby against the blue sky. “So, this is the so-called Ruby Castle.” Avril stated, as she continued, “I’ve noticed that in all the places we went to, we haven’t heard any reports of Commander Red killing anyone ever since Commander Blue died.” The two reached the entrance, with the now 7 month old Sam cheerfully exclaiming, “Well, here we are!” as the two entered the mysterious castle. The castle’s interior was mostly empty, and only consisted of one massive room. “I’ve been waiting for the two of you.” someone told them from the other side of the castle as they approached. 

    The two recognized that this was Commander Red, as the two continued to approach each other. It could be seen that the blue crystal on Commander Red’s mask had also gone dark, with only the red crystal remaining lit. Red shouted at the two, complaining, “You made all but one of my crystals black! The aura of the other Commanders powered them, and ever since you killed them, they’ve been useless!” Hearing this, Avril’s face turned to disgust, as she shouted back, “That’s all they meant to you?!” “They fueled my suit, and now I can’t do anything! I can’t create tornadoes, I can’t fly or breathe underwater, I can’t even destroy a rock with these things anymore!” Commander Red answered, proving Avril to be correct in her assessment. “Yeah, but you can fuel me!” Sam told him with confidence. “What do you-?!” Commander Red began to say before Sam expanded his jaw until it became large enough to eat Red, who was many times larger than Sam, in one bite. After eating his foe, Sam’s jaw returned to normal, and his size remained the same as it was before he ate him. This left Avril speechless, as Sam stated, “Well, we defeated all of the Commanders!” “Indeed.” Avril replied quietly. Avril was beginning to realize that her friend was something out of the ordinary, but neither she nor Sam knew why that was. After the two left the castle, they would begin to roam, never staying in one place for too long, and this would continue for years.

    As Sam and Avril continued to roam, people were able to rest more easily knowing that the Commanders were gone. While the two were wandering, in the summer of 1996, a big change happened in Zekk’s life. “I think it’s time for me to leave the forest. I plan to take this journey in hopes that I can find my son.” Zekk told Smoky, Roar, and Thicket. “We understand. If anything happens, don’t be afraid to come back. The Tree Cats will always welcome you, Zekk.” Thicket replied, with both sadness and understanding in his voice. Smoky and Roar then walked with the white cat to the edge of the forest. “Do Sam still live?” Smoky asked Zekk, who replied, “I don’t know, but I plan to find out! Maybe some human found him!” When the three reached the edge of the forest, Roar told Zekk, “Farewell, Zekk! Thank you for all you have done for the Tree Cats!” with Smoky adding, “Bye! We will miss Zekk!” After this, Zekk headed off into the open fields, beginning his own journey.

Part 7: The Momuians

    While Sam, Avril, and Zekk were still traveling on Earth, there was discussion on the far off planet of Momu. Momu was a large grass covered planet that was more than twice the size of Earth’s sun, with gravity twice that of Earth’s. Momu had a massive river going across the equator that had a depth that was greater than the size of Jupiter. Outside of that river, there were plenty of other lakes, rivers, and streams. Momu’s sky looked very much like Earth, with the exception of being a lighter blue and having no visible sun, meaning Momu was somehow able to support life on its own. Most of the planet was covered in plains and the occasional tree, with one tree in Momu’s southern hemisphere being around the size of Earth. There were plenty of towns and cities across Momu, with an appearance that was somehow both medieval and futuristic at the same time. At the planet’s north pole, there was a massive castle near Momu’s second largest city that was many times larger than Earth and was surrounded by a deep moat. 

    Inside of the castle, sitting on a throne of diamonds with dark blue cushions was a cat that was larger than Zekk. She had pink and red fur and deep blue eyes, and she was Momu’s empress. She told one of her subjects, a blue furred cat with green eyes, “I feel like this planet is missing something.” She then turned to another cat, one of her scientists, who was a tuxedo cat with yellow eyes, and told him, “Do you know of any species from other planets that might be good pets?” “I can think of one on a planet at the far reaches of the universe, planet Earth. The race that rules that planet has a love for cats, which are like our species, but smaller, and they also have a love for dogs, which are similar in appearance to the legendary Mipa, or even the mythical Tumser Dogum, depending on the dog. This species comes in many shapes and sizes, and are even called man’s best friend! If you’re looking for a pet that can’t be found here, dogs are a race that I would definitely look into.” the scientist suggested. The empress thought to herself, “Dogs? Aren’t those an Illisian species?” before asking, “What breed of dog do you think is the cutest?” This was an unusual question for a cat, but a question that the scientist had an answer to regardless, as he answered, “I think pugs are pretty cute, and plus, they’re smaller than us, so we wouldn’t have to worry about them being too big for a Momuian to handle.” “If that’s the case, I believe that we should send a team of us on a small starship to Earth. I will also be going.” The empress ordered. The scientist asked his leader in shock, “But Empress Samithia, why would you go out of your way to a small, insignificant planet like that?” “There is something else on that planet that also has my interest. Being the smartest one on this planet as well as my grandson, surely you should know this, Loki.” The empress Samithia told him. “I understand what you’re referring to. I will have a team of some of our best go with you on a ship to Earth.” Loki responded, before leaving. As Loki left, Samithia thought to herself, “I’ll be seeing you soon.”

    It was spring in 1997. Avril was now thirteen years old, while Sam was four years old, both having gotten larger, but still not being fully grown. The two of them saw a city in the distance that appeared to be ahead of its time. This impressed Sam, causing him to exclaim, “What is that place? It seems unlike anything I’ve ever seen!” “That’s is a city, a really big one! I’m surprised it took us this long to find a big city like this!” Avril explained to him, before she thought aloud, “It looks like the person I passed by earlier was correct!” A few days prior to this, someone told Avril directions to get to the city the two now saw. Seeing the city, the two approached, and as they did, they saw a massive dark blue flying object that had electric blue lines going throughout it fly towards the city. “What is that thing flying up there?” Sam asked Avril, who answered, “...That, is actually a very good question. I have no idea.” The two continued to walk towards the city, wondering about what they just saw.

    “Welcome to Beak City” is the sign that Avril and Sam saw when they reached the city, where many people were screaming and panicking as the flying object hovered overhead. “What’s going on here? Why are these people freaking out?” Sam asked. Avril answered, “I don’t know.” as a man screamed at the sky with tears in his eyes, “Give me back my pupper!” Avril walked towards someone and asked them, “What’s going on here? Why are people freaking out?” “There’s a bunch of big flying cats that call themselves Momuians that are kidnapping our pooches, and there’s also a huge UFO in the sky! I don’t know what’s happening, but I want my dog back! I hope whoever saved us from the Commanders can save our dogs!” a woman explained to her. Avril turned to Sam and began to tell him, “Well Sam, that seems to be what’s going-!” before a large tuxedo cat with yellow eyes grabbed Avril off of the ground and flew her to the sky, as she shouted, “What are you doing?!” “I’m taking you to our empress!” the cat told her. Avril proceeded to scream as the cat took her away, “Sam, help me!” Eventually, her and the cat both disappeared in the direction of the UFO, which Avril now knew must have been a spaceship for the Momuians.

    After witnessing Avril getting taken away, Sam was in shock, as he asked himself aloud, “What do I do? That cat just flew off with my best friend, but I don’t know how to get to them.” A woman overheard Sam speaking and proceeded to whisper in his ears, “Hey, come with me.” Sam looked and saw a woman that had an elegant air to her, with neat curly black hair, blue eyes, a fancy gray dress, and white slippers. Sam followed, seeing no better alternative unless he were suddenly able to start flying. Eventually, the woman stopped in an alleyway so no one else could see them, and she asked Sam, “So you can talk, correct?” “I can. Who are you though?” Sam replied. The woman responded, “My apologies for failing to introduce myself first. My name is Alice. You’re the one who defeated Commander Red, correct?” “How did you know that?” Sam asked, wondering how she knew something that seemed impossible for her to know. Alice explained, “My husband’s company set up a camera in Ruby Castle in secret to monitor Commander Red’s movements. I saw you and your friend defeat him there. Her name is Avril, am I correct?” “You are, but why are you telling me about this?” Sam asked her, to which Alice told him, “I’m here to help you get your friend back.” before floating into the air. She continued, “Has anyone ever taught you how to fly?” “...No. I didn’t think anyone was able to fly.” Sam answered. “Then grab onto me! We’re going to that thing!” she told him. Skeptical, Sam grabbed onto her dress, and Alice flew into the sky towards the direction of the UFO, with Sam desperately hanging on, as if he didn’t, it would be a long way down.

    When they got near the ship, a hole on the bottom opened up, which Alice and Sam flew into. After flying up, Alice found a place to land and dropped Sam off. Afterwards, Alice told him, “This is where me and you part ways! I hope to see you again someday!” before flying back out of the ship the same way she had entered. The inside of the ship contrasted with with dark outside, as the interior had white tiling, light blue walls, and windows where one could look out to see Beak City below. As Sam looked at his surroundings, a large brown tabby with blue eyes brushed against him. “Hey, you.” the tabby told him to get his attention, to which Sam faced him and asked, “Who are you?” “That is not important. The empress wishes to see you at once.” the tabby answered. “Who’s going to take me?” Sam asked him, as the tuxedo cat Sam had seen before walked up to him and told him, “I am.” The yellow eyed tuxedo cat guided Sam throughout the ship, as he continued, “So, welcome to the Momuian mother ship! My name is Loki! I’m a scientist!” Sam didn’t care for the introductions and went directly to the point, asking, “Where is Avril?!” “Relax, she’s just fine! We just didn’t want her to interfere with our plans, so we put her somewhere safe!” Loki explained. The two tuxedo cats eventually reached a room with light blue carpeting, which had a diamond throne like the one on Momu at the back. Behind the throne was a massive blue flag which had a green circle in the center, with a thick light blue line going through the center, a curved light blue line towards the top, as well as what appeared to be a gray castle on top of the circle, and a tree with yellow leaves in the lower left corner of the circle. Overall, the circle represented a simplified Momu. On the throne was the empress Samithia, who was now wearing a diamond crown with a blue gem at the center, and pink gems throughout. She looked at the two cats with a frown, as Loki told her, “Here he is, just as you asked!”

    “Thank you for bringing him to me, Loki. Now please leave the room.” Samithia ordered. Loki then left the room without a word, and after he was gone, Sam shouted “Why are you doing this?!” “I am Empress Samithia of the Momuian Empire, one of the strongest empires in the universe. I am here for two things, the first being that I’m going to bring some of these pugs with me to our home planet, Momu.” Samithia told him, to which he asked “What is the second reason then?!” “The second reason I came here is you.” Samithia answered, before shouting, “Star Ray!” as she fired a barrage of aura with the appearance of stars, which Sam dodged. “Impressive.” Samithia commented. She continued firing her attack at Sam, who kept dodging as he rushed towards her. Sam eventually got close and prepared to scratch her at full force, when she yelped, “That’s enough!” Hearing this, Sam stopped as Samithia stated, “You could have seriously hurt me with that attack, you know. I just wanted to test your strength to see if it was really you.” “What?” Sam asked, confused.

    “I wanted to test to see if you were the one I was looking for, and indeed you are.” Samithia explained, to which Sam asked, “What about Avril?!” “You mean the human girl? We saw how close you two were, so we captured her to give you a reason to come here. I’ll return her to you soon, but first, I have something important I must tell you.” Samithia answered. “What is it?” Sam asked her. “Sam, I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. It’s time for you to know the truth. You are a Momuian cat.” Samithia told him. “What?! You mean, I’m not from this world...?” Sam asked with a gasp. Samithia began, “Let me explain to you what I mean. Many years ago, we sent one of our white kittens to Earth, and someone else sent their black kitten. These kittens were raised in this world never knowing of their origins or their home world, raised by what I assume to have been Earthling cats believing that they were the same race. The kittens were named Zekk and Samantha by the creatures of this world. Also, there is one more thing.” “What is it?” Sam asked. “My name is Samithia Catson, and you are my great-grandson. In other words, you are part of the Momuian royal family. You are a Catson.” she told him. “...Woah.” Sam uttered, now realizing that he was not only from outer space, but that he was royalty and had a last name that neither he, nor his parents, knew about. “I will now return Avril to you, but first, I must ask you one more thing. Would you rather come with me to Momu, or do you prefer to remain on Earth?” Samithia asked her great-grandson. 

    Sam thought on this and gave his answer, “...My parents may have been born on a different planet, but this planet is where I was born. Earth is where I have lived all of my life, and I have a friend who lives here that means more than anything to me.” Samithia shook her head, and replied, “I figured you would say that. Now, as I promised, I will give Avril back.” Samithia then created a blue flash of aura, and from that aura, Avril appeared before Sam. Once she reappeared, Avril exclaimed, “Sam!” as she ran towards the cat with tears in her eyes. With the two reunited, Samithia added, “I will also be returning the pugs I captured. I’m not certain if they would be able to handle the gravity on our planet, as it is twice as strong as Earth’s.” Between this news as well as the two being reunited with each other, Sam and Avril cheered.

    Shortly after, Sam and Avril returned with all of the pugs that the Momuians abducted, getting back down to Earth’s surface with Samithia’s help. After the two landed, the mother ship flew away, with Samithia and Loki onboard. “We’re back at long last!” Avril cheered, with Sam adding, looking at the world surrounding him, “Indeed. I could never leave this world behind.” Soon, the people of Beak City saw the two with their pugs and rushed towards them. The man that the two heard when they first arrived in the city exclaimed with tears of joy in his eyes, “My pupper!” as he ran towards his dog. They also saw the woman the two talked to before reunite with her dog, crying, “Please never leave me again!” The two also saw Alice, who approached them, as she cheerfully stated, “It seems like you really did it Sam! You truly are a hero!” The people around them took notice to what she had said, with the man telling the two, “You really saved my pupper? Thank you so much Sam!” and the woman adding, “I thank you two from the bottom of my heart!” The people of the city then proceeded to celebrate their heroes.

    Eventually, Sam and Avril left the city, when Avril asked, “What did you mean that you could never leave this world behind? Is there something you’re not telling me?” To this, Sam answered, “I’ll tell you when the time is right. Right now, we should focus on where to go next!” “True! I guess we shouldn’t get too hung up on that!” Avril replied. After this, the two would begin to roam again, even seeing bigger cities than Beak City on their journey, where Avril would begin a second life that Sam didn’t even know about.

Part 8: Bobby the Bobcat

    Years passed with Zekk wandering alone in search for his son, becoming thin due to less plentiful access to food, when in May 1998, Zekk walked into a city. He wandered this city as he would any other, until he found a zoo. He entered the zoo by jumping over a fence and made the observation, “There are animals trapped in here!” He looked around more before finding an exhibit of what he thought were ordinary cats. These cats were about his size, or rather, the size he used to be. “Wait a second, cats! There are cats in here!” Zekk exclaimed. Seeing these cats trapped behind bars made Zekk’s blood boil, and as such, he declared, “I swear by the blood of Tom, Whitesocks, and Samantha, I will free these cats!” Little did Zekk know that these were not the same kind of cats as the ones he knew, and that they were instead bobcats. Zekk sneaked into the bobcat enclosure and saw the largest of the bobcats approach him, a green eyed female with brown fur and stripes. She called upon the smaller ones by chanting, “Bobcats!” and they began to approach Zekk, licking their lips. Zekk told them, “You have been eating too many mice! You need to go on a diet!” The large bobcat then took a second look at him, before stating, “Wait, this isn’t a giant rat, this is a skinny cat! I’ll take care of him alone!”

    The other bobcats backed away, as Zekk told the large bobcat, “You remind me of Samantha.” with the bobcat unaware that Zekk was referring to her weight. The bobcat then proceeded to ask him a peculiar question, which was, “Have you heard of a green eyed tuxedo cat named Sam?” “Yes!” Zekk answered. The bobcat then began to ask more questions, her next one being, “Do you know him?” “Yes.” Zekk answered again. Her next question was even more strange, with her asking, “Are you in Sam’s family?” Zekk answered proudly, “Yes, I am his father!” She then asked him another question, which was, “Did you know that he saved the world’s pugs, and there’s rumors that he avenged over 90,000 deaths?” “He ran away from me when he was two months old because his mother died... When my mate died... So, I didn’t.” Zekk answered sadly. The bobcat put her head down in understanding, and introduced herself. “My name is Bobby. What’s yours?” she asked him, and he answered “I’m Zekk.” Zekk soon recognized that despite her name, Bobby was a girl, and together, the two of them would free all of the animals in the zoo, causing chaos for the people there.

    Over a year had passed when in July 1999, Bobby, who was larger than before, and Zekk went to a smaller city together. “This sure is getting tiring, Zekk. Do you think we’ll ever be able to find a place to settle down?” Bobby asked him, with Zekk answering, “We can rest somewhere, but we have to keep looking for Sam!” The two were walking in a neighborhood when two cats that were standing on the road overheard them, and shouted mockingly, “Zekk and Bobby sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” To this, Zekk had his own mocking response, as he sung, “Ferals on the road, ferals on the road, they’re gonna get run over by a car on the road!” Zekk’s timing was almost too perfect, because as soon as he stopped singing, a red car began zooming towards the two cats and the street, running the two over before coming to an abrupt stop. The car then pulled over and parked in a spot near where Zekk and Bobby were, and in order to escape, the two jumped through a window into an empty house. The room they entered had green carpeting, walls that were made of wood was most likely fake, and had a white tiled ceiling. Zekk breathed a sigh of relief, as he told Bobby, “At least we’re safe in this unoccupied house.” Zekk spoke too soon about the house being unoccupied, as five humans walked into the house. “You were saying?” Bobby asked, disappointed in the white cat’s judgement. These humans had just moved into the house, and rather than kicking out the cat and bobcat that were in the house, they let the two live with them. Bobby had gotten her wish. Bobby’s reasoning for this, which Zekk didn’t realize, was that she was expecting kittens, specifically, Zekk’s kittens. That night, an electric blue shooting star would fly across the sky.

Part 9: Nutnutnutnut

    As the end of 1999 approached, on a highly advanced far off planet about the size of Earth’s sun, with a surface that appeared to be of charcoal, with rivers of lava at the surface that almost made it look like the planet had a face, and a large castle towards the north end of the planet that made it look like that face had a crown, something was being plotted. This planet was called Nutnutnutnut. The planet’s inhabitants were a race of humanoid beings of charcoal, that were lava-based instead of water-based, with holes where one would think their eyes and mouth would be that allowed one to see into their molten inside. This species, called the Nutnutians, was not numerous, with a population of under 100,000, as the vast majority of their kind were killed in a war with another planet. The empress of this planet gathered a group of her subjects. The empress was shorter than many of the other Nutnutians due to being younger, and had a gray crown that had a red gem at the center, and orange gems on the side. The rest of the outfit she wore was surprisingly casual, consisting of a gray t-shirt, red pants, and black shoes. In the hall, there were Nutnutians, as well as what appeared to be orange nuts with arms and legs, and there were also some present of different species that were undoubtedly from planets other than the one they were on. Their empress declared, “Our planet needs more magma to ensure the survival of our species! As such, I have decided to go to an uncivilized water planet called Earth to drain their planet of their magma! Any questions?” No one dared to ask any questions, as the empress was known for executing those who gave one she didn’t like. “That’s what I thought! Keep my castle safe for me!” the empress ordered. She then went to find her personal spaceship and proceeded to fly away, along with a number of her subjects. If the empress was successful in her plan, it would mean the end of all life on Earth, as the planet would become a cold husk of its former self, supposing it wouldn’t just collapse in on itself.

    Time passed, turning to the new millennium. It was now January 29, 2000, and this day saw Sam and Avril reach a new city. Sam was now seven years old, still looking youthful due to the slow way that Momuians age, while Avril was sixteen, soon to be seventeen. They walked about in this small city, which the two quickly learned was called Frederick, when Avril asked, “Sam, I never thought to ask, but why were you able to extend your jaw all those years ago?” “I don’t know, maybe it has to do with my parents being Momuians.” Sam answered, to which Avril exclaimed, “Your parents were Momuians?! You mean to tell me you were an alien this entire time?!” “My parents may have come from Momu, but they were raised here on Earth. I was born on this planet and I’ve lived here my entire life, so as far as I’m concerned, Earth is my home.” Sam explained to her, finally revealing to her the secret he had been hiding for three years. 

    The two continued walking until they reached a particular neighborhood street, where they saw a large white cat with blue eyes approach them that simply uttered, “Meow.” “Why is that cat walking towards us?” Avril asked Sam. “I don’t know. Maybe he likes us!” Sam answered. Sam then proceeded to take a closer look at the cat approaching them as he stated, “Wait, something about this cat seems familiar.” “You mean, you know this cat?” Avril asked curiously. Sam then looked at the cat and asked him, “Can you speak?” The white cat began to reply, “You’re speaking to m-?!” before cutting himself off and exclaiming, “Oh shoot, my ordinary house cat disguise is blown!” “Let me guess, you’re a Momuian too?” Avril asked the white cat, who asked in bewilderment, “What’s a Momuian?” As the cat spoke, two male gray tabby kittens with green eyes ran to his side. Both tabbies looked similar to each other, with the difference between the two being that one had white paws, while the other did not. “Hey, Ozzy and Bootsy! What are you two doing here? Shouldn’t you be with your mommy?” the white cat asked the two kittens. Bootsy was the kitten with white paws, while Ozzy was the one with gray paws. The white cat continued, “Anyways, here’s a new person and a cat!” His attention then turned back to Sam and Avril, as he asked, “What are your names?” “My name is Sam, and this is Avril!” Sam told him. “...Son? Is that you?” the white cat gasped as Avril asked him, “What’s your name, by the way?” “My name? My name is Zekk! I’m a forest cat!” the white cat gleefully answered. After many long years, Zekk had finally found the son that he was searching for, and Sam was finally reunited with his 32 year old father.

    “That means you really are my father! Why did you run the other way when my mother got killed?!” Sam asked Zekk, who answered, “I was running to get help, but by the time I got somewhere, it was already too late, as both you and the human were gone. Three years after, I left on a journey to find you, and learned almost two years ago that you were still alive! Now I’ve finally found you!” The door to the house Zekk was staying in then opened. “These are the people that I’m staying with! Come on in! We’ll talk more once we’re inside!” Zekk told them as he, Ozzy, and Bootsy entered the house, with Sam and Avril following.

    Once they entered the house, the people that let them inside closed the doors. “Here it is, my home! Look around, son!” Zekk told Sam, who remarked to Avril, “Woah...! Avril, is this what a normal house looks like?” Hearing this, one of the people, a boy with a blonde bowl haircut, green eyes, a green shirt and blue jeans exclaimed, “Woah, did you just say Avril?!” “That’s Curt! He’s one of the people living here! He’s eleven, and turns twelve in a few months!” Zekk explained. The two looked at the other two people in the room, both boys. There was a boy that was two years older than Curt was that had slightly longer brown hair, blue jeans, and a light blue t-shirt with text that read “MARK”, and Zekk explained that the boy’s name was, in fact, Mark. The other boy, two years younger than Curt, had short brown hair, orange eyes, and wore a red tank top and black shorts, and this boy’s name, as Zekk explained, was Donnie. Mark then walked up to Sam and Avril and asked “Hey, you two look familiar. Are you two Avril and Samuel?” “That’s Sam for short, but how did you know that?” Sam asked back with confusion. “You two were all over the news when you took out Commander Red and saved the pugs from those aliens! Plus, Avril is a singing celebrity!” Mark explained. Sam, not realizing the part of his companion being a singer asked her, “Really? When did this happen?” “Remember all those cities we stopped at where I had you wait?” she reminded him. “That’s what that was?!” Sam exclaimed, before Avril whispered to him, “And that’s hardly a bigger secret than you being an alien!” Zekk then cleared his throat to get Sam and Avril’s attention before asking them, “Hey, aren’t either of you two wondering who the big brown bobcat of the house is?”

    Sam and Avril looked around and found Bobby sitting on the ground, who would have been hard to miss if it weren’t for them being lost in conversation. “Why are you having them look at me?” Bobby asked Zekk. “This is Bobby! She’s my mate, and the mother of Ozzy and Bootsy! Oh, and Bobby? That tuxedo cat is the son we were talking about, Sam!” Zekk explained. While they were speaking, Avril made another glaringly obvious observation, as she asked, “Hey, if these boys are here, where are their parents?” “Something’s going on with their mommy.” Ozzy explained to her, as Mark added, “Oh, and don’t be afraid to spend the night! I’m sure they won’t mind!” “Sure thing!” Sam replied, as Avril responded “Ok then.” The two would choose to do exactly that.

    It was now January 30. Sam and Avril were trying to rest on the house’s second floor in the morning, when they heard a scream. This awoke every person and cat in the house, who ran downstairs to hear Curt screaming, “Help! The house is under attack!” The eight ran into the living room, and as they got there, they heard loud banging on the front door. At that moment, the door was busted down, and an army consisting of thousands of orange nuts with arms and legs invaded the house and began attacking Curt. “We need to save him!” Sam told the others. The group, left with no other choice, attacked the nuts. Donnie managed to shatter around one hundred nuts with his fists, while Mark found a bag and captured around 150 of them, taking them to the kitchen. Ozzy, Bootsy, and Bobby attacked the nuts with their teeth and claws, and between the three of them, around 1,500 nuts fell. Realizing the nuts were so weak that she didn’t even need her aura attacks, Avril found an old bass drum in the basement and tossed it at the nuts, which killed a few hundred of them. This kept going until Sam saw Zekk doing something unexpected. He was eating the invaders. “Try them! They taste really good!” Zekk told Sam with a gleeful smile. “Really?!” Sam asked excitedly, to which Zekk nodded his head. Hearing this, Sam extended his jaw and proceeded to eat the rest of the remaining nuts. “Hey, leave some for the rest of us!” Donnie shouted. To this, Mark replied “Don’t worry!” as he walked back into the living room. He continued, “Come into the kitchen!”

    The group walked into the kitchen and saw something on the table. Mark made a few cakes with the nuts as the main ingredient. Seeing the cakes made Ozzy and Bootsy exclaim, “Woah!” “Bon appetit!” Mark told the group, who each grabbed a slice. “This is amazing!” Avril told Mark cheerfully, with Ozzy adding, “I can see why that cat liked them so much!” “That cat is your brother!” Zekk reminded Ozzy, who replied, “Really?!” as if he’d already forgotten what his father told him the day prior. As the two were eating, two people walked down the stairs, one being a man with curly brown hair, green eyes, a brown shirt, a pair of jeans, and black boots, and the other being a noticeably pregnant woman with long brown hair, blue eyes, and a purple dress. These two were the parents of the three boys, and they had arrived while the group was sleeping, and stayed upstairs through the nut invasion. “What’s up?” Mark asked the two. “I have to take Mom to the hospital. Your baby brother’s going to be born soon. Zekk, make sure to take care of the house while I’m gone!” Mark’s father told the group, with Zekk responding, “Okay!” Dad then grabbed a slice of the nut cake and left with Mom using the back door located in the kitchen. 

    As the group ate, and the parents departed, someone watched their house from the sky. It was the empress from the charcoal planet in her spaceship, which was small. The lower half was gray and had the emblem of the planet she was from, and the upper half was made of what looked to be a glass dome, that was more likely made out of some kind of crystal. She complained from the sky, “Those fools! I can see that those pathetic nuts I sent got wiped out! No matter! I, Empress Nutnutnutnut will just have to go to Earth and destroy them myself, along with their miserable planet!” After saying this, Nutnutnutnut, who has the same name as her planet, let out a maniacal laugh.

    January 31. Those in the house were once again woken up by Curt screaming, and this time, he was screaming, “The city is under attack!” Everyone in the house ran outside as quickly as possible, and it was there that they saw the spaceship of the empress Nutnutnutnut causing destruction by firing lasers throughout the city of Frederick. They got close and Mark saw the appearance of their attacker, whose mouth of magma had a big smile. “So a lava monster is attacking everything!” Mark remarked. The alien took notice and replied, “I am no mere lava monster, you pathetic fool! I am Empress Nutnutnutnut, and I’m here to drain the Earth of all its magma so me and my race can drink it all, but I decided to have some fun before doing so! You Earthlings don’t stand a chance!” She then let out another maniacal laugh. This terrified Bootsy, who began to run away. “Oh no you don’t!” Nutnutnutnut shouted as she began to charge her ship’s laser. Bobby, realizing her son was in danger, screamed “No!” as she ran towards Bootsy. The laser then fired, with Bobby getting in the way to protect her son as the blast created a flash that temporarily blinded those nearby. By the time the others could see again, all that remained of Bobby was ash, and Bootsy was nowhere to be seen. Seeing this, Donnie flew into a rage, screaming, “How dare you do that?!” “Oh, you want to play? Okay, follow me!” Nutnutnutnut responded with another laugh. She began flying away, and the group of seven gave chase to her.

    The group chased Nutnutnutnut for minutes before she eventually stopped by a building, specifically, a hospital. She proceeded to stare at the building with a menacing smile, as she told the others, “You know what this building is, right?! If I blow it up, your parents and your baby brother will all die! All of them! And I’ll be able to watch and savor every moment of your pain and suffering! It might even taste better than this planet’s magma!” “No you don’t!” Donnie screamed as he tried to leap at her, but Nutnutnutnut was too high up in the air for him to reach. Mark then told the others, “Don’t worry guys, I have this covered!” His hand then began to emit an icy blue aura before he shouted, “Okay, here we go! Diamond Blaster!” Out of his aura, Mark fired a barrage of diamonds, pelting the spaceship. This did not have enough of an effect to stop Nutnutnutnut, however. “Oh no, an aura user! I’m sooo scared, just look at my face and see how scared I am!” the empress told them as she gave the group a huge grin. “Song Beam!” Avril shouted as she sent her musical aura attack at the empress, but she countered this with one of her spaceship’s lasers, which cancelled out Avril’s attack, with the shock wave of the blast hitting Avril’s attack sending the group flying back. Nutnutnutnut once again faced the hospital before beginning to charge up a cannon that was larger than the ones she used before, as she announced with another maniacal laugh, “Now, it’s time for me to blow up this place!”

    As the cannon was charging, Sam jumped his way to the top of the building before jumping towards Nutnutnutnut’s cannon, which he successfully destroyed with a powerful scratch. “What?! What did you do to my cannon, you meddling scum?!” Nutnutnutnut screamed at the tuxedo cat. Sam proceeded to do another giant leap, and jumped onto the dome of the spaceship. “I will never allow insensitive beings like you hurt the people dear to my friends!” Sam shouted at her, now practically face to face with the empress. He then proceeded to shatter the dome of her ship with a slap before scratching at her face, unaffected by her body’s heat. As he scratched at her eyes, Nutnutnutnut screamed, “Ow, I can’t see! I can’t see!” Unable to see, the empress proceeded to fly away with the dome of her spaceship shattered. “I don’t think she’ll be coming back anytime soon, if ever.” Avril stated. Sam then jumped down from Nutnutnutnut’s spaceship and into the hospital window where the parents of the three boys were. Seeing this, Avril shouted, “Wait, what are you doing?!” as they entered in order to find their friend.

Part 10: Zane's Birth & Bootsy of the Tree Cats

    Sam entered the room as the mother was giving birth. “It’s a boy!” the doctor announced, as Sam jumped up to get a look. This caused the doctor to shout, “Oh no, he turned into a cat!” Sam began to speak as the baby opened his eyes. “Birth, the beginning of life, which I fought to save. I saved you, just before you were able to see. If you’re like me, you’ll remember this for all time. My name is Sam, and welcome to the world.” Sam told the newborn baby. The doctor then proceeded to do a double take, before stating, “Thank you for saving us Sam, but I don’t think he’s going to remember this when he gets older. The chances of that happening for a person is so low, that it’s basically impossible. I’m sure you know this, right?” “I don’t see why he wouldn’t remember. I remember when I was first born. My mother was a black cat named Samantha, and she was killed by Commander Pink when I was only two months old.” Sam replied. Zekk then entered the hospital room with Ozzy and told Sam, “Sam, I’m a cat just like you, but I don’t remember the first year of my life. I didn’t even back when I was a kitten!” To this, Ozzy exclaimed “I did!” to which Zekk scolded, “So? You’re only four months old, Ozzy!” After he said this, the three brothers and Avril entered the room. “So, what’s his name Dad?” Mark asked his father, who proudly announced, “His name is Zane!” Mark then proceeded to walk to where the baby boy was and told him, “What’s up brother! I’m Mark!” After this, the other two brothers got their introductions in before the parents, three older brothers, three cats, and Avril returned to the house, and for Zane, this would be his first time at the house. There, the group celebrated the boy’s birth, as well as the fact that they were still alive thanks to Samuel Catson. None of them knew at the time just how special the boy who was born that day was, and Sam’s words would stay in Zane’s memories forever, contrary to what the doctor told Sam.

    Days after Zane’s birth, Bootsy’s legs took him all the way to Cat Forest, where he ran into a certain cat grayish-blue furred cat. “Who are you?” Bootsy asked him, before the cat broke into song, “I’m a little bit Smoky, but I have pink ears, I’m a little bit dopey, but I’m strong, hear? I’m a little bit Smoky, but I have some blue fur, I’m a little bit dopey, but I hunt, so purr! I’m Smoky, but I’m gray! I’m dopey, but I’m brave, so hurray! I’m Smoky, because I’m a forest cat Smoky! Smoky! Pink ears! Dopey! But strong, hear? Smoky! Blue fur! Dopey! Hunt, so purr! Smoky! Gray! Dopey! Hunt, so hurray! I’m Smoky, because I’m a forest cat Smoky!” This song was so terrible that it made Bootsy run away even further into the forest. “Was Smoky song really that bad?” Smoky asked himself.

    As Bootsy entered deeper into the forest, he found a white male cat with amber eyes who jumped before him from the trees. “You look kind of lonely. Want to join us?” the cat asked. Bootsy, not knowing what he was signing up for, answered “Sure!” The white cat then told him, “My name is Snow. What about you?” To this, Bootsy replied, “Bootsy!” Snow would lead Bootsy to the same secluded area of the forest that was familiar to both his father and to Smoky, but this time, Thicket was not there. When they got there, Snow gathered the group of cats, including Smoky and the aging Roar, and announced, “This lost kitten has decided to join the Tree Cats! Please welcome Bootsy!” “Me?” Bootsy asked, now even more confused. “Snow is Tree Cat leader!” Smoky explained. “Didn’t daddy say he was a Tree Cat?” Bootsy asked, to which Smoky asked, “Daddy? Who Bootsy daddy?” “My daddy is Zekk, my mommy is Bobby, and I have two brothers Ozzy and Sam!” Bootsy told him. “Zekk and Sam still live?!” Smoky asked in shock. Hearing this, Roar told Snow, “You have made an excellent decision, Snow. I’m sure Thicket is proud of you as he watches from the stars.” “Thank you, Roar!” Snow replied. From a far off place in the stars, the spirit of Thicket was indeed watching, as he spoke out loud, “Zekk, your son is in a safe place. I’ll watch over him to make sure he becomes a noble hunter, just as you were.” That night, Zekk dreamed that Bootsy became a great hunter alongside the Tree Cats, and the reason for this dream was because Thicket had sent it. Thicket then thought to himself, “I wonder, when Zekk passes, will he go to the place in the stars with us Tree Cats, or to the place in the clouds where Samantha is?”

    Three weeks had passed since Zane was born, when on February 24, the house that Sam now permanently lived in got a knock at the door. The mom, now wearing a purple shirt, gray pants, and black shoes opened the door, and the man who was there surprised at least one person in the house. “Ollie?!” Avril asked in shock. “Yes, that’s me. I wanted to congratulate all of you for the birth of your son, and also for saving the world from the horrible Nutnutnutnut! All of you are invited to come to my mansion!” Ollie told them. “Your mansion?! You have a mansion?!” Curt exclaimed, as Ozzy asked, “What’s a mansion?” “It’s, like, a really big house!” Sam explained. Ollie led the group along to his mansion, where he had a surprise ready for all of them.

Part 11: Pink's New Beginning

    Seven years prior, going back to just after Commander Yellow was killed, Pink, who no longer had her Commander outfit, was falling for hours in a red, hot place before falling to the ground, which was red and covered in flames. “Where am I?” Pink asked herself aloud, to which she heard someone answer, “The Underworld.” She turned around and saw someone who looked like Empress Nutnutnutnut, even having the same crown, except this being was taller, had spiky red hair, and wore a black and red royal outfit. “The Underworld?! Does that mean-?!” Pink began to say as the alien replied, “Yes, you are dead, and so is Yellow! I’m King Nutnutnutnut, nice to meet you!” This made Pink ask, “Why did I end up here?” “Maybe it’s because you killed 198 innocent beings, but don’t feel too bad. I’m here for destroying three whole planets with intelligent life! Winteria, Mexiki, and Illisia were the ones, and that was over 30 billion years ago! Oh, and your species came from the few Illisians that survived my Planet Busting Cannon!” the ancient king told Pink, who had no doubt that he just told anyone and everyone he found about himself. “Is there a way to leave?” Pink asked King Nutnutnutnut, who answered, “There are three, which have rarely been done! One, you could try to fly out of here, but good luck doing that! That’s millions, if not billions of light years away! There’s also two, which is to have someone bring you back to life, usually an advanced healer or a god of some sort. The third option is the least common, and that is if your soul gets destroyed, you’ll be resurrected as a goddess on Orek! Not Kero, mind you, but Orek! Imagine that, Goddess of Clumsiness, Commander Pink! Three might just be a myth though, since I’ve never seen it happen myself.”

    After hearing her options to escape, Pink felt defeated. She didn’t have the ability to fly, let alone at the faster than light speeds required to escape, and who would even want to resurrect a killer like her? Plus, the third option, from how it sounded to her, was just a myth, a falsehood. Having given up on the idea of escape, Pink proceeded to ask a different question, which was, “Okay, well, is there anything to do around here?” “We can go see the Devil and see if he’ll let us watch TV. Of course, that’s IF he’ll let us watch it!” King Nutnutnutnut suggested. Pink, having nothing better to do, agreed to the king’s suggestion, and the two began their journey.

    After travelling for two years through the Underworld’s hazardous terrain, they reached the center of the Underworld. It took the exterior appearance of a massive cave, but on the inside, it was well furnished, uncharacteristically so for the place it was in. There, they saw a pale skinned man with long green braided hair, who wore a green regal outfit with a golden crown. This man spoke immediately to King Nutnutnutnut, telling him, “Oh, King Nutnutnutnut, I see you have returned! I presume this girl is Commander Pink?” He did not wait for an answer, as he already knew he had the right person, as he told Pink, “Hello Commander Pink! I’m King Jayi, but you can call me the Devil!” He then demanded to both of them, “You two must be here for a reason! What is it?” “We were wondering if we could watch your TV.” King Nutnutnutnut made his request. King Jayi replied, “Hmm... I don’t usually allow people to watch my TV, but since it’s you, my old pal King Nutnutnutnut, I will allow it! Be careful though! This TV was given to me by someone from the 24th century, so another one of it’s kind won’t exist for hundreds of years! Will you two promise that you won’t damage it?” “I wouldn’t backstab you, you’re the only one here that makes my time here bearable!” King Nutnutnutnut responded. This answer pleased the Devil, who told them, “Good! Now go watch TV!” The two would proceed to watch the TV, which not only had shows from Earth, but also shows from other planets, including Momu. Pink and King Nutnutnutnut were both particularly fond of a Momuian TV show called Kitano Adventures. At some point, Red also joined the two.

    Years later, on what would have been February 23, 2000 on Earth, something strange began to happen to Pink as she was watching the Devil’s TV. Pink’s body began to fade from the Underworld, as she exclaimed, “Huh? What’s happening?!” “You’re fading! Maybe you’re being resurrected after all?” King Nutnutnutnut suggested. After he told her that, Pink vanished from the Underworld. Red then began to shake King Nutnutnutnut, asking, “Why does she get to go back, and not me?!” “Don’t ask dumb questions!” King Jayi ordered before making him let go of the other king.

    Back in the present, Ollie made the group he brought from Frederick to his massive mansion hide as he got his surprise planned. At that moment, something began to fade into view, and it was none other than Pink. She took a look at her surroundings, and as she realized she was back on Earth, tears came to her eyes, and she cried, “Thank you!” as she saw Ollie. “Don’t thank me, my wife resurrected you.” Ollie told her. “Why does that voice sound familiar?” Sam whispered to the others, to which Avril whispered back, “So it’s not just me then.” Pink then looked around and saw Alice looking at her. “Hello, I’m Alice Wilburn! I resurrected you with some pennies that looked magical. I’m the owner of this mansion, and also this man’s wife! Oh, and I don’t mean to shock you, but it’s February 24, 2000, and I thought I’d bring you back to entertain some guests!” Alice then commanded of the others, “Come on out you bunch!” At that moment, Donnie, Curt, Mark, their parents with Zane in their arms, as well as Zekk, Ozzy, Sam, and Avril came out of hiding.

    Pink may not have had her suit on, but Sam could tell who she was immediately from the way she sounded, her height, and her blue eyes. “Commander Pink?! What is the meaning of this?!” Sam asked the Wilburns furiously. From Sam’s response, Pink could tell immediately that the Sam and Avril she was seeing now were the same ones who killed her years ago, except now they were older. “Umm... I was going to tell you to meet each other, but it seems that you’ve already met!” Alice commented awkwardly. “She killed my mother and my BFF’s parents!” Sam explained to the others in a yell. “Hey, who even is Commander Pink?” Mark asked the others, not understanding the hostility in the air. “I don’t blame you there, the news mostly showed stories about Commanders Red, Blue, and Green when you were little.” Mom explained. Ollie then whispered to Pink, “Okay, here’s the deal! We’re going to put you on a spaceship that looks like a balloon, and once we say ‘And many more!’ after singing happy birthday, it will launch you into space and send you to a faraway planet called Momu. When you get there, you must kill a large pink and red cat with blue eyes. Got it?” The group then heard from the sky, “No you’re not!” At that moment, an extremely long white cat grabbed Pink off the ground and onto its back, and only Ollie and Alice knew the identity of this cat, which was Emperor Longcat of Momu.

    As Longcat had Pink grab onto his back, he created a shield of oxygen so the two of them could breathe in space, and afterwards, the two flew out of Earth’s atmosphere and into outer space. “W-who are you?!” Pink asked the cat, who told her, “I am your savior, but most call me Emperor Longcat of the Momuian Empire. I am here to save your soul, as I do with most beings that have good in their hearts that have made poor decisions before their initial death. Feel lucky, it’s been over a millennium since I’ve last done this for an Earthling!”

    After flying in space for 21 hours at incredible speed, Pink cried “I’m starving!” Longcat handed her a cooked salmon, telling her “Here, the oxygen shield should make it stable enough to eat. I cooked it using the lasers from my eyes! We should arrive at our destination in three more hours!” “Thank you.” Pink told the cat before she started eating. Three hours later, the two descended towards Momu. “What is that?” Pink asked, to which Longcat replied, “Our destination, planet Momu! That’s my home! We will be landing in the castle.” “IN the castle?!” Pink asked in shock. “Yep! It has a hole just for me, which my grandson built!” Longcat explained. Within seconds, the two landed in the castle through a massive hole in the roof, which led the sandy colored Momuian princess Mepe to exclaim, “The universe?!” “Meet Pink, formerly Commander Pink! She’ll be staying with us as I try to save her soul!” Longcat explained to her. Samithia saw this and flew towards him, as she stated, “Oh, this again. I thought you stopped doing this for humans around 1,200 years ago. It’s nice to see my husband do something besides acting like a total goofball.” “Meet my wife Samithia! She’s a bit harsh at times, but she means well!” Longcat told Pink, who was the only human in a castle full of cats. “I see that one day, you will become great. I am proud to be a part of your existence.” Samithia stated, before adding, “Pink, I’m going to tweak your name ever so slightly on your records. It will be difficult to make the humans of Earth listen, but if they don’t listen, I’ll make them listen if they value that watery blue sphere that they live on. I’ll be back.” Samithia flew out of the castle through the same hole that Longcat and Pink had entered, before Longcat told Pink, “So, I’m going to apply you for Momuian citizenship. You should become a citizen instantly because I rule this empire! Follow me!” Longcat began flying, but it was far too fast for Pink to keep up with. “Come on, put some aura in your step!” Longcat stated, as Pink complained, “I don’t know how to use aura!” Hearing this, Longcat stopped and stated, “Oh, right, you’re an Earthling. They don’t teach that in the schools on your planet, do they? Let me grab something!” He then flew somewhere in the castle and came back with a pair of shoes that were dark blue with a light blue lightning bolt going across them. “Have these shoes! My grandson designed them for this very scenario!” he told her. Pink took off her old shoes and put these new ones on. “Now, run!” Longcat told her, and when she did, the two left the castle at mach-50 speeds.

    Before long, the two entered the largest city of Momu’s northern hemisphere, and second biggest city overall, a city simply called Castle Town, despite being much larger than one would consider to be a town. Like most of Momu’s cities, Castle Town had a look that was both medieval and futuristic, though it looked even more advanced than most of the cities on the planet, being the planet’s main hub of scientists, as well as soldiers that also doubled as astronauts, as on Momu, those two were essentially the same thing. Despite the massive size of the city, which was larger than any on Earth, Longcat and Pink reached their destination quickly due to their speed, arriving at a laboratory that read “Loki’s Lab”. Longcat joyfully told Pink, “Here it is, the place my grandson always seems to be!” before shouting loud enough that it seemed like all the cats in the city could hear him, “Hey grandson, I brought an Earthling that needs citizenship!” “What Earthling?” the two heard a confused voice ask from behind the lab’s door, which then opened. The cat who opened the door was the scientist Loki, who took a look at Pink and asked, “Are you sure she isn’t Canopian?” “I picked her up from Wilburn Mansion on planet Earth. This is Pink, formerly Commander Pink.” Longcat answered. 

    “My dear Zezapion, I don’t know what to do. I’ve never seen an Earthling come to Momu before. Well... from the data I gathered while we were on Earth, I do know that she is a female that has killed 197 of her own kind, as well as my brother’s mate Samantha. We also know that she likes to sing. From the data that came from the Underworld’s sole TV, I also know that she spent most of her time in the Underworld watching TV with King Nutnutnutnut, her favorite being the live-action Momuian TV show called Kitano Adventures.” Loki told them, as he went on and on. “Oh, Loki, why are you so smart?” Longcat asked in amusement. Loki then added, “However, she knows not of the Momuian religion.” “So, can you make her a citizen?” Longcat asked his grandson, who replied, “She already is. Samithia beat you to it when she scanned her aura as soon as you two landed. I will have to remind you, however, that Pink will have a lot to learn before she has the mind of a true Momuian.” He then finished, “Have it, it’s her ID.” as he gave a card made out of some unearthly material. The ID listed her name as Pink Commander, her date of birth as February 3, 1976, her place of birth as Los Angeles, California, United States, Earth, Helios, Milky Way, Posi-Verse, and listed her race as Earthling Human. It added at the bottom, “Issued by the authority of the Catson royal family.” He then added one more thing, which was, “This is going to take a while.”

Part 12: Pollution of Beak City

    As Pink was training on Momu, back on Earth, it was March 3 as Zekk was watching the news with Avril and Dad. As the group was watching, Avril saw something that disturbed her so much that she exclaimed, “Sam, come quick!” The tuxedo cat, along with everyone else in the house looked at the TV, as a news reporter spoke. “The air pollution in Beak City, Kansas continues to get worse, as nearly everyone who goes out is getting hospitalized from inhaling the hazardous air. No one we’ve interviewed has been able to tell us just where this pollution is coming from. People from Beak City are being told to remain indoors, and to not go outside without a gas mask.” “We have to go there and help them!” Sam declared, as Avril nodded her head. “Don’t expect any of us to go, it’s too dangerous, and also too far away!” Dad told the two, but Mark defied his father’s words as he told them, “I’ll help both of you!” “You’ll what?!” Dad asked in anger as the three rushed towards the front door and ran outside.

    As they ran outside, Mark asked the glaringly obvious question, “Wait, are we supposed to run all the way to Kansas from Maryland?!” “You would be surprised at how quick me and Sam can move!” Avril answered. Mark realized quickly that the three of them were outrunning the cars on the road, looking completely bewildered at how he was keeping up. “See? You’re an aura user too, so this should be no issue for you!” Avril told him. The three ran towards their destination on foot at speeds that would be impossible for humans that didn’t know how to use aura. After a few minutes, Avril stopped, which lead the other two to stop as well. “What’s wrong?” Sam asked her. “Well, I was just thinking... Wouldn’t it be more helpful if you both knew how to fly?” Avril asked before using her aura to float in the air. “You mean we could’ve been doing that all along?!” Sam exclaimed. “Just concentrate your aura to your feet and use it to lift you up, and don’t stop using your aura! If you do that, you can defeat gravity and fly in the air!” Avril explained. Mark and Sam did just that and were flying within minutes. “Since you two already knew the basics about aura, flying should be a piece of cake for you!” Avril added. “This should help me if I ever need to fight flying enemies again!” Sam stated. The two then began to head to Beak City, now through the air instead of on foot.

    After two days, the three descended as they approached the smog that went well beyond the limits of Beak City. The three walked from there, and as they got close, they saw something bizarre. They saw a woman with long light blue hair, blue eyes, and unusually fair skin who wore a blue dress and white shoes. The woman, who was sitting inside of a box, appeared to be in her 20s, when in reality, she was just at the cusp of turning 40. The thing that stood out to the other three the most was the fact that, as Avril pointed out, “Look! She’s not sick at all!” “Who are you?!” Sam asked the woman, immediately suspicious of her. “Me? I’m Fluorine!” she answered, to which Avril asked, “Are you behind the pollution in Beak City?!” “No. The culprit for that would be a factory they just built towards the center of the city.” Fluorine explained to them. Sam then turned to the others and told them, “Let’s just ignore her then! We need to stop that factory!” Hearing this, Fluorine pleaded, “Please, take me with you, Sam and Avril!” “Hey, your name is getting places!” Mark told Sam. “Is that diamond boy?” Fluorine asked, to which Mark answered, “Close, but that’s not my name. I’m Mark!” The four then walked towards Beak City.

    As the group reached Beak City, the movements of Mark and Avril began to slow, and they were beginning to fall behind Sam and Fluorine. “What’s wrong, can’t you two keep up?” Sam asked the two, who then collapsed on the ground. Sam and Fluorine immediately ran to the two, with Fluorine stating, “They’re sick!” “The pollution got to them too?!” Sam exclaimed. The two then flew in the air, flying them to a hospital in Wichita, which was well outside of the radius of Beak City’s pollution, but still not very far from where Sam and Fluorine would be. After dropping their sick friends off, Sam and Fluorine returned to Beak City. Immediately, the news would catch wind of this and would report on it throughout the nation, and the group of Zekk, Curt, and the others that were left behind in Frederick heard the news reporter say, “We just received news that the famous singer and hero Avril, as well as the boy Mark who helped fight the alien invasion in Frederick, Maryland, have both been admitted to a hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Their symptoms appear to indicate that they too have fallen ill from the pollution in Beak City.” “I told that boy not to go, I knew this would happen!” Dad remarked in anger, as Mom walked outside. “Wait, what are you-?!” Dad began to ask as Mom used aura to fly away, as Zekk exclaimed, “She can use aura?!” “Where do you think Mark learned it from?!” Dad told him, as his frustration became even more visible on his face. He was angry because he could do nothing to protect his son or his wife, as he did not know how to use aura to keep up.

    As the others were in an uproar about Avril and Mark, Sam and Fluorine entered deep into Beak City, where they found the heart of the problem. Before them was a massive factory, a huge rectangular building with pipes reaching up into the sky, and from them came the toxic smog. The smog in this area was so heavy that any human near it without a gas mask would fall to the ground in seconds, with death coming soon after. Despite this, both Sam and Fluorine were unaffected. Fluorine then made the observation, “It’s as I thought, this factory is not only letting out pollution that’s dangerous to the environment, but it also carries a toxin with it that’s deadly to humans! If we don’t do something, the people here, as well as Mark and Avril, will die!” “They’ll die?!” Sam exclaimed as he began to realize just how dire the situation was. “Also, how are you still alive? Do you have an oxygen shield up like me?” Fluorine asked, to which Sam answered, “What’s an oxygen shield?” “...Are you a Momuian or something?” Fluorine asked. The true answer as to why Sam was still moving wasn’t because the smog wasn’t affecting him, but rather because he was strong enough to endure it. Sam knew that he wasn’t immune, and that if he didn’t succeed fast enough, he would eventually fall just as his friends did. He did not want Fluorine to know this, however.

    The two reached the entrance of the factory and opened the door to enter. Once they got inside, however, they heard what sounded to be a stampede near them. “What is that?” Fluorine asked Sam, who was just as clueless as she was. Just after she asked this, a swarm of rats ran towards them from a corner and began attacking. Sam realized that eating these rats would be a terrible idea, so he scratched them as they got near him, while Fluorine zapped some of them with blue lightning bolts created from her aura. “You use aura too?” Sam asked as they attacked the rats, with Fluorine replying, “I’ve always known how to use it, even when I was a baby!” Eventually, as they kept defeating rats, the surviving rats knew they didn’t stand a chance and scurried away. “Did we do it?” Sam asked Fluorine, as something else approached them, with Fluorine answering, “I don’t think so.” Before them was a giant rat, much larger than the average man.

    The massive rat began to fire a teal acid at the two, who dodged as the acid effortlessly melted holes in the floor. They kept dodging, with the acid burning off small furs off Sam as he kept narrowly escaping, and eventually, acid hit the air around Fluorine, and Sam could hear the sound of something shattering like glass. Without even being hit by the acid, Fluorine fell to her knees. “My shield broke. Oh no...!” Fluorine cried as she gasped for air, as Sam screamed at the rat, “What did you do to her?!” Sam himself was starting to become weak due to breathing in the toxic air. The giant rat then stood on its hind legs and crossed its arms like a human would. “Is a rat supposed to do that...?” Sam muttered as he got weaker. Just when hope seemed lost for the two, a shield of oxygen appeared around them both. “Who...?” Fluorine began to ask before looking up to see who saved them, and they saw none other than Mark’s mother. Fluorine then made another observation on the rat’s stomach, as she gasped, “That’s a zipper... That’s no rat...!” “Thank you!” Mom replied as a sphere of dark violet aura appeared in her hands. She then shouted, “Shadow Orb!” as she fired the sphere directly at the rat’s zipper, which enveloped the zipper in a dark aura as it began to pull it up, revealing what appeared to be a pair of legs, before the rat created a lightning bolt to cancel out Mom’s attack.

    It was too late for the supposed ‘rat’, however, as Mom declared, “You’re not a rat at all, you’re just a person in a costume!” At that moment, all three of them knew their attacker was a human, and also an aura user. The person in a rat costume then began to fire lightning bolts at the three, as Mom used her aura to create a translucent purple wall of crystal to block these attacks. Fluorine then asked Sam, “Throw me at it!” “What?!” Sam asked in shock, to which Fluorine told him, “Just do it!” Sam agreed, and just as the crystal wall shattered, he used his arm to slap Fluorine towards the rat person, knocking them over, as the three could hear a feminine voice shout “Ah!” from within the suit. Fluorine, now on top of the stomach of the rat costume, pulled the zipper open and pulled someone out by the arm. Who she pulled out was a 20 year old woman that had long light blue hair and blue eyes just like her, with skin almost as light, that wore a fancy white and purple dress and white shoes. “Are they related?” Mom asked. Fluorine then began producing teal aura in her hands and found the strength to tell the woman, “You better remove your toxic aura from the air right now, or I’ll make you regret it, young lady!” “I’m sorry mom, I’m sorry! Please don’t turn me in!” the woman cried. “Who is that?” Mom asked. “This troublemaker is my daughter Chlorine. Now, I would like you to take Sam and get out of here please.” Fluorine demanded. Mom then picked up Sam and ran out of the factory, and as soon as they walked out, the factory exploded in a light blue aura. “Which of the two was that?!” Mom exclaimed.

    After the aura cleared, the toxins that Chlorine left in the air had disappeared, and only the pollution from the factory remained, although there was now no factory to produce more of it. Before long, those from Beak City who survived began recovering, and so too did Mark, Avril, and Sam. Within minutes, Mark and Avril flew back to Sam’s side, and the three of them as well as Mom saw as the smog began to clear more. More people began rushing outside to celebrate their heroes, and when the smog cleared up more, they noticed something before them. “It’s...” Avril began, “A statue...” Mark continued, as Sam finished “Of me...!” The statue was large, built of stone, except for the eyes, which shined like some type of green gem. The statue read, “On April 16, 1997, the heroic tuxedo cat Samuel flew into the sky to stop an invasion by alien cats called the Momuians. He went into the mother ship and saved all the pugs that the cats had abducted.” As the celebration around the statue of Sam continued, both Fluorine and Chlorine, the latter being battered, appeared as well.

    After the party was over, Sam, Mom, Avril, and Mark returned home. In the days following, Fluorine, Chlorine, and the residents of Beak City proceeded to press charges against the actual owner of the factory, a court battle which they won. The fine given to the factory’s owner was over one billion dollars in damages, as a result to the harm to people’s health and the city itself. This fine was so great that it bankrupted the owner, who then attempted to flee the state. After this, the air in the city once again became breathable, and its inhabitants began to care more for the environment. No one except for Fluorine, Chlorine, Sam, and those living in the same house as Sam would know the truth of Chlorine’s involvement anytime in the near future.

    A few days after saving Beak City for a second time, Sam gathered the members of the house he lived in, which besides himself, were Avril, Zekk, Ozzy, Mark, Curt, Donnie, Mom, Dad, and the baby Zane. “So, I’ve decided that we should form a team!” Sam announced, to which Avril replied, “That’s a great idea!” and Mark stated, “Nice!” “Would you be the leader?” Curt asked him. “He better be!” Mark replied, and they all agreed. “That’s right, I would be leader, and my deputy will be Curt.” Sam explained. “Me?” Curt asked, to which Sam told him, “You’re always the first to call the team to action, that’s why I chose you!” Sam explained. He then continued, “I will also have Mark be the cook, since his food is really good, and Avril will be the healer!” “Uh, I don’t know how to heal.” Avril told Sam nervously. “Don’t worry about that, no one in this house does!” Zekk reminded her. To this, Donnie shouted, “Then why have a healer at all?!” “Who else wants to be a member?” Sam asked. “I do!” Ozzy told him, with Zekk adding, “You know I want to!” “And I’ll join too so I’m not missing out on the action!” Donnie also decided, despite having questioned the leader’s judgement just moments prior. Mom and Dad did not join, while Zane was too young to join. With this, Sam now had his very own team. Sometime later that evening, Sam would tell Zekk and Ozzy about his meeting with Samithia three years prior, where Zekk would finally learn about his extraterrestrial and royal origins.

Part 13: Bootsy's Battle for the Tree Cats

    Months passed, and Bootsy became an excellent hunter for the Tree Cats. He also learned to not run away from his problems, and instead to fight when he had to. He enjoyed his time there more than he enjoyed Frederick or enjoyed roaming alone. A couple of years after he joined, in 2002, Snow ended up passing away in an accident where he fell into a river, so Smoky became the new leader, as old age affected Roar far worse than Smoky. The Tree Cats, despite Smoky having lived for 37 years, still had no idea that this was due to Smoky being Momuian, as even Smoky himself didn’t know this fact. Bootsy also had aged faster than Sam did due to him being half bobcat, and as such, he reached adulthood towards the end of 2002. These peaceful days would soon come to an end for the Tree Cats, however.

    It was now a cold winter day on January 11, 2003, and there was snow covering Cat Forest. Everything seemed peaceful, before a strange human intruded upon the forest. It was a man with pale skin, wild purple hair, and red eyes who wore a red leather jacket, a black shirt, gray pants, and black shoes, and the man wielded a knife. “I hear there are Momuians in this forest! I’m gonna pull out my puppet, and I’m gonna trap ‘em!” he told himself. He then listened carefully for noises in the forest, and eventually, he heard one coming from the home of the Tree Cats. From the trees, a man held out a realistic puppet resembling Zekk. The man then had it open his mouth as he told them, “Hey there! I found a massive pile of fish!” Only Smoky and Bootsy could understand what he was saying, as Smoky replied, “Oh! Smoky want some! Gimme!” as he ran towards the puppet. Bootsy, sensing something was off, shouted “Wait!” as he gave chase to the leader of the Tree Cats. When the two ran closer to the man, they were trapped in a cage, which the man covered in a dark blanket as he cheered, “Success!”

    The two cats kept struggling for a while, before eventually, Bootsy slashed at the cage, which managed to break it. “How Bootsy do that?” Smoky asked, confused. The two cats and the strange man were now out on the open field, as the man shouted, “Well then, since I can’t take you alive, I guess I’ll have to take you dead, and then I’ll kill all your friends too!” The man attempted to slash at Smoky with his knife, but Bootsy got in the way and got slashed instead, leaving a deep wound. “I won’t let you harm the Tree Cats or Smoky, not on my life!” Bootsy screamed. Suddenly, something in Bootsy snapped, and he began flying at the man as his body produced a golden aura. “What that?!” Smoky exclaimed. The aura amplified the power of Bootsy’s claws, as he scratched deep into the man’s chest and jumped onto his shoulders. “Wait, what are you doing?!” the man shouted, before Bootsy gave the man a slash to the neck, decapitating the man. After the man fell, Bootsy fell to the ground, and he no longer produced the aura. Immediately, Smoky ran to Bootsy and cried, “Is Bootsy alright?” Bootsy replied to him, as he quickly was losing strength, “Smoky... I used all the energy I had... to fight the human...” “No, Bootsy, don’t say that!” Smoky cried more, to which Bootsy replied, “Tell the Tree Cats... to be strong... I’ll give my regards... to... Snow... Goodbye...” After saying this, Bootsy closed his eyes before falling unconscious from blood loss. “No, Bootsy! I failed, I was a terrible leader! Zekk will never forgive me!” Smoky screamed as he broke down into tears. The pain tore at Smoky so much, that with his advanced age, his body could no longer take it, and as Bootsy passed away from his blood loss, Smoky would literally die of a broken heart. That night, the Tree Cats looked up at the sky, and they all swore that they saw Bootsy watching them from the stars alongside Snow, Thicket, and Smoky. The following day, the Tree Cats would select their next leader, a light gray furred cat with yellow eyes named Mountain.

Part 14: Pink's Return & The Diamond From Momu

    In March 2003, Longcat’s training of Pink was seeing progress. “Now, show me your eye lasers and disintegrate that robot!” Longcat ordered. She then produced red aura from her eyes and fired two lasers at a simplistic robot, disintegrating it. “Now, thank Zezapion that you passed the aura test!” Longcat commanded next. Pink then faced towards the sky with her eyes closed and hands held together, and she stated, “Thank you Zezapion for giving me the power to use my aura and pass this test.” After three years, Pink had finally perfected her eye lasers and flying abilities, and was now able to fly faster than Longcat. She also converted to the Momuian religion, which was easy, as her experience in the afterlife confirmed it to be true. “I have taught you all that I can teach you. Your next teacher is on Earth, so you must fly there! You should be able to easily do so in only a day! Good luck!” Longcat told her. Pink then activated her oxygen shield and flew through the hole in the Momuian Castle’s roof. She flew out of Momu’s atmosphere into outer space at a speed far faster than light, with her goal being to return to her home planet, which was on the other side of the universe.

    Pink flew in space for a few hours before she was stopped by a group of Nutnutians. “Are you the border control that Longcat talked about?” Pink asked, to which they replied, “We are. You may pass! You got approved because Tacgnol said he would destroy our planet if we didn’t!” before they let Pink fly by. “Tacgnol? I wonder if this is the Devil’s doing?” Pink thought to herself as she continued flying towards Earth. After flying for many more hours, Pink flew by Mars and saw an interesting sight. “Is that a green suited astronaut killing a bunch of aliens? I guess there really is life on Mars! Go figure!” She did not go down to investigate more, and within less than a minute, she reached Earth. “Is that my home at last? It looks so beautiful from up here!” Pink exclaimed. She flew down, and found that it indeed was the same planet she knew.

    Before Pink could land, a woman flew towards her direction. “I’m supposed to be teaching you!” she told her. Pink looked and saw Mom, who she didn’t recognize. She then flew her towards the house that her and Sam’s Team lived in, and as she landed, she saw Sam, who was now fully grown, walk outside. “Uh, what is Commander Pink doing here?” Sam asked, to which Mom replied, “Pink has been doing a lot over the past three years to atone for what she’s done.” “Well then... Welcome to our house, Pink!” Sam replied nervously. Mom would mostly keep Pink out of sight of Sam’s Team while she trained her. Eventually, various members of the team would warm up to her.

    It was now April 25, 2003. There was a female Momuian with shiny light blue fur and yellow eyes, with an appearance that was beautiful by Momuian standards. She lived in the largest city on Momu, River Town, a city in Momu’s southern hemisphere that exists just off the shores of Momu’s Great River, the massive river that goes across the equator, with a size so vast that from the ground, one might think they were looking at an ocean. River Town itself was known for its large houses, a less futuristic appearance, as well as historical landmarks from when southern Momu was independent from the Momuian Empire. In this city, the shining cat ate at one of the restaurants, where she ordered an eagle steak. Momu has many species of eagle that are far larger than those on Earth. Large birds on Momu are plentiful, and are a common food source for Momuians. As she was eating, however, the Momuian prince Nyan entered the restaurant and approached her, causing a commotion in the restaurant. “Are you Diamond?” Nyan asked the blue cat, to which Diamond replied cheerfully, “Yes!” “That’s good! I have a mission for you.” Nyan told her. Diamond, who was still awestruck that the prince was talking to her specifically, responded, “For you, prince, I’ll do anything!” “That’s good! I need you to go to Earth!” Nyan told her. In that instant, the joy left Diamond, as she replied in a dumbfounded tone, “...Earth?” Her fantasies were shattered at that moment, as she realized that instead of some romantic date that Diamond could have never hoped to have with him in the first place, she was instead being told to go to some remote planet that was primitive by Momuian standards. “Specifically, I need you to go to a place called Frederick, Maryland, which is located in the Earthling nation called the United States of America.” Nyan further elaborated. Diamond was left speechless. “While you’re there, I want you to meet my grandson Ozzy!” Nyan told her. “I’ll do it.” Diamond answered quietly before flying away and leaving Momu’s atmosphere.

    On May 2, Ozzy, who grew fast just as Bootsy had, heard a meow coming from outside. “I’ll be right back!” Ozzy told the others in the house before walking out the front door. He looked around, following the meowing into the alleyway of his house, where he found Diamond. Seeing her appearance immediately made Ozzy’s heart race, as he asked, “W-what’s your name?” Diamond replied, “I’m Diamond. I’m a stray cat. What about you?” “I’m Ozzy!” Ozzy answered. The two made small talk, before Ozzy went back inside awkwardly, with Sam watching the series of events through a window. When Ozzy went inside the house, Zekk could tell something was strange by the way Ozzy was acting. “What’s his deal?” Zekk asked, to which Sam replied, “Ozzy met a stray cat.” “Her name was Diamond. She was the prettiest cat on Earth!” Ozzy told the two. “I shall hunt for her.” Zekk replied. In time, Ozzy would begin meeting Diamond more, while Zekk got rejected by her, with Diamond calling him a geezer. She knew that Ozzy was a Momuian, but Ozzy did not know she was a Momuian. To the humans, however, it was incredibly obvious that she wasn’t from Earth. 

    Some time passed, and it was now June 13, 2004. Diamond and Ozzy began dating, just as Nyan, their matchmaker from the stars, had hoped, with Ozzy not knowing of his grandfather’s involvement. During this time, Sam had gathered his team for an announcement. “Today, I will be taking a trip back to my old home. Avril and Curt will be going with me, and Mark will lead the team while we’re gone.” he told his team. “They’ll be safe with me!” Mark responded. The team of Sam, Avril, and Curt then headed to the door and left, with Curt flying away with the two, as Mark had taught him how to fly prior to this. Curt’s hair was slightly more wild now, and was no longer being a bowl haircut. Within less than an hour, the two had landed right outside of Cat Forest. “I will be going in by myself as to not startle the cats inside the forest. If it feels like I’ve been gone for too long, I’ll need you to come into the forest to make sure I’m alright.” Sam instructed. “Alright, good luck!” Curt replied as Sam walked into the forest.

Part 15: The Red Htrae & the Sparkling Cat

    Far away, on August 12, 1992, there was a female kitten born in a dark forest. This forest was small, and the areas outside of the forest were hot and desolate, with the inhabitants of the forest having only a dark red sky and purple clouds to look up to during the day. This forest existed in a small pocket in a mostly dead world and was called Shadow Forest. Like Cat Forest, many cats and animals lived in this forest, but unlike Cat Forest, most could not leave Shadow Forest without being burned to a crisp. The kitten that was born provided a stark contrast to the bleak world around them, as the kitten had pink and yellow fur that shined like glitter. The cat’s mother, a pink cat with golden eyes told the kitten, “With fur that sparkles like the stars at night, like a ray of hope in this dark world, I will name you Sparkle.” When the kitten finally opened her yellow eyes, which sparkled much like her fur did, she saw the world that she was born into. To Sparkle, however, this would be her normal, as she never knew what it was like to live under a blue sky. She quickly learned how to hunt not only for herself, but for the cats around her. A golden cat with amber eyes told Sparkle’s mother, “Your daughter will make a great hunter for the Dark Cats, Lotus.” “Thank you, my dear.” This golden cat who was Sparkle’s father was named Firefly, and he was the leader of the Dark Cats. Both of Sparkle’s parents were larger than the other cats that weren’t related to them, with both being over 30 pounds.

    As time went on, Sparkle became more skilled, but in July 1994, she made an observation. “I’m a fully grown cat like the others, aren’t I? So, why am I still small like a kitten?” Firefly walked to her and explained, “It is true that most cats age quickly, becoming a fully fledged adult in just one or two years, but that is not the same for cats like me, you, your mother, and your siblings. That is because we are a different race of cat called Naiumoms. Me and your mother came from another world when we were young to escape from Tacgnol, the brutal long black cat of darkness, and ever since, we changed our names and have lived as the cats in this world do. It takes about nine years for our kind to become adults. In turn, we get to live twice as long as the other cats, or sometimes, even longer than that.” “Wow, a Naiumom? Tell me more!” Sparkle asked curiously, to which her father replied, “I would, but I have something more important to tell you right now.” “More important?” Sparkle asked. “About a year and a half ago, I received a dream from the stars. There was a shadowy human that made a black cat disappear as a tuxedo cat and a white cat ran in opposite directions. After that, there was a shining yellow cat that glowed in the darkness. I wonder sometimes, was the dream about this universe, or another universe with its own forest of cats?” Firefly explained, before Sparkle asked, “Dad, what’s a universe?” “It’s like, a really big thing that we live in. In it, there are many different worlds, some that are like ours, and even more that are totally different. You can see it when you look up at the night sky. Our universe is called the Nega-Verse.” Firefly explained.

    Firefly then continued, “More recently, there was another dream I received from the stars. In it, a red cat with a skull on his fur brought doom to our entire forest, before finding a power that made him unstoppable.” “That sounds scary!” Sparkle cried. “I don’t know what it means, but it can’t be anything good. I fear for the Dark Cats.” Firefly told his daughter, unable to hide the dread he felt.

    The world Sparkle was in had its own human world. It was true that most of Sparkle’s world was uninhabitable, with most of the planet having temperatures that soared to over 800 degrees, having oceans and rivers of lava on the surface. The reason for life surviving on this planet was due to technology being able to make certain areas cool enough to be survivable. One such place, with a temperature close to 80 degrees was the Rehguab Kingdom. The Rehguab Kingdom, which had a diameter of 200 miles in each direction, was home to humans that were slightly different than those of Earth. The humans here generally had paler skin, with natural hair colors including white, purple, green, and blue, with colors like red, orange, yellow, and brown being far less common. When these humans grew old, their hair would often turn black instead of white. The kingdom itself was far more advanced than Earth, with technology that allowed them to fly to distant galaxies, and even to planets more livable than the one they were on. It was one day in this kingdom in 1994 that a familiar tuxedo cat with yellow eyes entered the castle, which has a metallic appearance. There, the tuxedo cat met with a king, a man with long silver hair and orange eyes. The king wore a regal outfit that was silver and green, and had a red cape as well as a crown made of jade.

    “Good evening King Rugabega! ...Or, is it afternoon or morning? It’s hard to tell here.” the cat told the king. Rugabega was not the king’s actual name, which was Eel. He did not like his actual name, so he went by the title Rugabega, which is a corruption of his last name, Rehguab. This made him King Rugabega Rehguab. “Hello Loki Catson! What brings you here?” Rugabega asked the tuxedo cat. “Well, according to our reports, it appears that our mutual enemies, being the Naiumom Empire, have taken notice of your planet Htrae.” Loki told them. Due to the proximity of Momu and Htrae to the border of the Posi-Verse and Nega-Verse, Htrae was actually closer to the Posi-Verse’s Momu than it was to its own universe’s Umom. As such, the Rehguab Kingdom was a close ally and trade partner of the Momuian Empire. The Naiumom Empire, however, had expanded its control over most of the Nega-Verse, and was rapidly getting closer to the border of the Rehguab Kingdom and Momuian Empire, with the latter having territories within the Nega-Verse as well. “The Naiumoms?!” Rugabega asked in shock, to which Loki replied, “Of course, we will protect you as best we can, but their emperor Tacgnol is very powerful. I’m sure you’re aware of this. Their empress Aihtimas isn’t to be taken lightly either.”

    At the other side of the Nega-Verse, there was Umom. It was a planet with the same size and gravity as Momu, and also had a massive river at its equator. Umom, unlike Momu, had a stone surface, and had rivers, streams, and lakes that took a purple appearance. Most life on Umom resided in the water, and was enough for the only race that lived on the surface, the Naiumoms themselves, to survive. The planet’s surface, despite looking dead, was temperate, and even breathable due to the oxygen that comes from the aquatic life. The sky of Umom was similar to Momu’s, but was slightly more purple. On the surface, there were cities and towns with houses and towers that were made from crystals and metals, giving them an appearance very unlike Earth or Momu, with the buildings shining like diamonds across the otherwise boring surface. The Naiumom Castle had an exterior appearance that was garnet red, and inside lived the empress Aihtimas, a turquoise and blue furred cat with green eyes, as well as the emperor and long black cat of darkness himself, Tacgnol. With him, there was a red furred kitten with orange eyes, as well as a patch of fur on his side that looked like a skull, and with this kitten was a black cat with red eyes, as well as a body that resembed a waffle. “We’re getting really close to Htrae! Those pesky Rehguab fools getting all buddy buddy with the Momuians won’t know what hit ‘em! LOL!” Tacgnol told the cats. “Yeah, we’ll just blow ‘em up and take their loot!” the waffle cat replied. To this, Tacgnol shouted, “NO! Tac, that’s wasteful! We can still use those humans as servants, lol.” “Maybe I can do something!” the red cat added. “Mas, my son, you are still too inexperienced, LOL! I only created you from my rage at that disgusting Samuel Catson eighteen months ago!” Tacgnol told him. Hearing this, Tac complained, “I’m your son too!” To this, Tacgnol replied, “Does someone have a toaster? LOLOLOLOL!”

    It was now September 1997, when a certain pink and red cat, Samithia, entered Shadow Forest. “Logic indicates that if Sam was in Cat Forest, that some type of cats, possibly Naiumoms, might be in this forest. I have to find out for myself.” Samithia told herself. She looked around until eventually, she happened upon the home of the Dark Cats. Similar to the home of the Tree Cats, it was located in a secluded part of Shadow Forest, covered in trees and bushes. “Who are you?!” a male yellow cat with golden eyes screeched. “I’m Samithia. I come from a far off place called Momu.” she told the cat. Sparkle walked towards the yellow cat and told him, “It’s okay Autumn, I’ll deal with it.” Sparkle then faced Samithia. “You appear rather large. Are you a Naiumom?” Samithia asked her. “My parents say they were, but I was born here, so I don’t know what their home was like.” Sparkle explained, while Autumn complained, “Why are you telling an outsider about this, Sparkle?!” “You two must be siblings then. I presume that Sparkle is the older of you?” Samithia remarked. “How did you know?!” Autumn exclaimed, to which Samithia replied, “You’re too big to be from this planet.”

    “Are you a Naiumom too?” Sparkle asked Samithia, as Firefly began to approach. “Close, but no. I’m a Momuian.” Samithia explained, to which Firefly exclaimed, “The Momuian empress is here in this forest?!” Samithia took a look at the three and asked, “It doesn’t seem like you three are working for Tacgnol. Did you come here to escape from your home planet?” “That is indeed the case.” Firefly explained. “Then your group is in grave danger.” Samithia told them. Lotus heard this and ran over, asking, “Why is that?” “The Naiumoms plan on invading this planet, and plan on enslaving those they can, and annihilating those they can’t. Your group would fall into those that they would annihilate.” Samithia explained with a frown. “What can we do to stop this?! I don’t want my friends, family, and the other Dark Cats to die!” Sparkle cried. “I will train you, Sparkle, and only you.” Samithia told her. Samithia then grabbed Sparkle and flew her into the air.

    Very shortly afterwards, Samithia took Sparkle to a forest clearing. Samithia started, “For a Naiumom like you, using aura abilities that amplify parts of your body should come naturally to you. As such, we’re not going to do that. I’m going to teach you to use your aura as a Momuian does. Your ability to understand me as well as the other cats is an example of an aura ability, something that both Momuians and Naiumoms tend to learn at such a young age, that they don’t know what it’s like to not have it. Before we get to the complicated parts, I’m going to start easy. Feel your energy and concentrate it towards your eyes, and then compress it like you’re blinking.” Sparkle knew how to concentrate aura, which she just thought was just ordinary energy, to parts of her body. She could use it to do a powerful scratch or slap, just as Sam could. As such, it only took a couple days before she successfully did as Samithia instructed, firing lasers from her eyes. After this, Samithia taught Sparkle how to fly and how to use an oxygen shield. As time went on, they continued to perfect the basics, before teaching her some extra abilities. This training came to an end in December, when Samithia had to return to her castle on Momu.

    In August 1998, a large sandy colored cat with green eyes entered Shadow Forest. Firefly and Sparkle were out hunting, when the cat detected them. “Hello, Gold. I’m sure you recognize me!” the cat told Firefly in a menacing tone. “Slug, is that you?!” Firefly asked in a hiss. “That’s Princess Slug to you, you lowly traitor!” Slug told him before pouncing at the leader of the Dark Cats. “Say you’re sorry and that you’ll serve Tacgnol for all time, or else!” Slug demanded, to which Firefly replied, “Never! Samithia warned us about you!” “Did you just say Samithia?! Die, Momuian scum!” Slug screeched before extending her jaw around Firefly, as Sparkle screamed “Father!” Before Sparkle could do anything, Slug closed her jaws around Firefly and ate him in a single bite. “How cruel...! They’re the same species, aren’t they?!” Sparkle thought to herself as tears came to her eyes before she screamed, “Father!” This alerted the entire forest that something terrible had happened. “You want some too?!” Slug threatened Sparkle. A starry aura then began to appear around Sparkle’s paws. “Is that what I think it is?! I have to get out of here!” Slug exclaimed in fear, as Sparkle screamed, “Star Ray!” firing a barrage of stars made from her aura at the Naiumom princess. Slug narrowly managed to avoid the attack as she flew away into Htrae’s sky, and eventually into outer space.

    After Slug fled, Sparkle began to cry, as the other members of the Dark Cats gathered around her. “Firefly...” Lotus cried, as another female cat, having red fur and yellow eyes asked, “Is daddy okay?” “Berry... Our dad is in the stars now.” Sparkle told her sister. “No, dad!” Autumn cried. The group mourned for a while, before walking back to their home. “I wonder who’s next in line?” a male black cat with purple eyes asked, to which Lotus told him, “Crow, I have no idea. I don’t think he planned on dying this soon.” That night, the cats of Shadow Forest dreamed of what appeared to be Sparkle defending against the red cat with a skull on his fur. The next morning, the Dark Cats unanimously decided that Sparkle must be their next leader. “I promise I will defend this forest until my dying breath, and make it so Shadow Forest will remain the peaceful place that we all know!” This was the speech Sparkle made to the Dark Cats when she became leader.

Part 16: Rise of Mas

    It was June 1999 when Mas had landed on the desolate blue planet of Sram, just a planet over from Htrae. “Finally, I’m close to Htrae! I’ll be able to make my dad so proud!” Mas cheered. Not long after he said this, a blue cat with yellow eyes flew towards him, firing eye lasers. “It’s a Momuian! I have to do something!” Mas complained, as he flew at the cat and attempted to slash them with his claws, but the cat kept dodging. “Wait, seriously? I guess Umom didn’t sent their best today!” the Momuian stated. “Wahhhh, why can’t I defeat this cat?!” Mas cried, before Slug flew towards the cat and extended her jaw, eating her foe. Afterwards, Slug told Mas, “See? That’s how you do it! How in the universe can someone be so unconfident in himself and still call himself a Naiumom prince?!” Mas then flew up and told the princess, “You’re a mean sister-in-law! I’ll make those Rehguabs bow to us, just watch!” before flying away towards Htrae. “Good luck, you’re gonna need it!” Slug stated. Slug then floated there for a moment and told herself, “Wait, if he goes by himself, he’ll probably get killed. I probably shouldn’t let that happen.” Slug then flew towards Htrae as well.

    Mas flew towards the Rehguab Kingdom before seeing a group of Momuians. “Nope, I’m not going that way!” Mas told himself before flying into the nearest forest, which happened to be Shadow Forest. After he flew into the forest, Slug reached Htrae. “Now, where did that cat go? I’m gonna check the Rehguab Kingdom and see if he’s there!” she told herself, going in the complete wrong direction of finding Mas. As Mas walked through Shadow Forest, he found a black cat he didn’t recognize, which was Crow. “It’s that cat! I gotta tell Sparkle right away!” Crow exclaimed, as Mas told himself, “It’s awful creepy in here...!” Mas continued wandering in the forest, until eventually, he found himself surrounded by the Dark Cats. “What’s going on?! Why are there so many cats?!” Mas exclaimed. Sparkle then jumped down from a tree to meet him, and while this sight soothed the Dark Cats, her serious expression and stance made her intimidating to Mas. “Who are you, trespasser?” Sparkle demanded in a growl. “M-my name is Leumas Catson!” Mas answered. “Leumas? You’re not from around here, are you?” Sparkle asked, to which Mas proudly announced, “I’m a Naiumom!” Sparkle then glared at him without saying a word. “Did I say something wrong?” Mas asked, as Sparkle continued. “Come on, tell me!” Mas complained. “The stars told us that a red cat with a skull on his fur would bring doom to our forest.” Sparkle told him, as Mas asked, “Who are you?!” “I am Sparkle, leader of the Dark Cats. I was told that my parents came from the stars, and I have an ability that the others do not.” Sparkle told him. “W-what ability would that be?” Mas asked, to which Sparkle replied, “They call it ‘Star Ray’.” This answer made Mas jump, as he screamed, “Star Ray?! That’s a Momuian technique!” The cats then stared at him more, before Sparkle told the others, “Attack!” In that moment, the entire group began to pounce at Mas, as he screamed, “I gotta run and get outta here!”

    Mas kept running in circles around the forest, and as he ran deeper into the forest, he found a pond of lava. “I have to risk it, it’s the only way!” Mas told himself as he activated his oxygen shield and dived directly in. Seeing this, Sparkle commanded to the others, “There’s no way he’s surviving that. Come on, let’s go back!” Meanwhile, Mas kept moving through the lava pool before he found a pocket of air. “Alright, an oxygen shield! ...Wait, why is there such a large one down here?” Mas asked, as he flew towards what appeared a temple, which had a dark purple appearance. He entered and saw a humanoid being with violet scales, wings like a dragon, large horns, and glowing red eyes. No matter how you looked at it, this was a demon, but Mas came to a different conclusion. “What planet are you from?” Mas asked the creature, to which it replied, “I am Apocalypse, a demon from the Underworld.” “The Underworld?! Like, that big fiery place?!” Mas asked. “Yes, that Underworld. I am the embodiment of the hate, darkness, and evil left by many beings from a universe long gone. It all bubbled together, and from that, I was born.” Apocalypse told him. “Do you think you can help me take over Htrae?” Mas asked the demon, who answered, “Take over?! Ha, don’t make me laugh! You don’t have a killing bone in your body! Come back when you have that!” The demon then slapped him out of his temple, and out of the lava lake into the sky until Mas eventually caught himself. “Fine! I’ll go to the Rehguab Kingdom and kill plenty! Just you wait!” Mas told him.

    Mas then entered a small town in the Rehguab Kingdom called Thgirb Village. The town had only 18 human inhabitants. “That’s it... I’ll just kill!” Mas told himself. He then found an old man walking on the street and shouted, “Kill!” as he pounced at him, giving him a scratch that slashed through his chest and into his heart, killing the old man. After this, the cat’s eyes began turning wild as he kept shouting, “Kill!” as he broke into houses and killed people, and it wasn’t long until Thgirb Village was a ghost village. After this, Slug landed and screamed, “What happened here?” “I killed them!” Mas cheered with glee. Slug responded, “I think you’re enjoying this a bit TOO much...! Have you gone to Jadesrick yet?” “Jadesrick?” Mas asked, to which Slug told him, “The place with the big metal castle!” “Oh, that place! Sure, I’ll go there!” Mas told her before flying into the sky.

    Instead of going directly to the castle, Mas would fly around and practice killing, and it wouldn’t be until July 30 that Mas would fly towards the metallic castle. When he got there, he saw a group of aliens that resembled Nutnutians, except these aliens had a marble appearance and had water inside of them. “Oh, this should be interesting!” Mas told himself as he began slashing at these aliens, who didn’t fight back. Before long, the ground was covered in water and marble, the remains of the aliens he had slaughtered, of which, there were 120. Mas then stated, “That was fun!” as he entered the castle.

    When he entered the castle, he found King Rugabega sitting on his jade throne with red cushions. “Hey, guy! I just killed a bunch of those marble aliens!” Mas told him, to which he exclaimed, “You killed the Naituntuns?!” “Yeah! And it was fun too!” Mas told him, before the man pulled out a sword which began glowing with a green aura. The king then shouted “Jade Wave!” as he swung his sword, creating a line of green aura that sent Mas flying outside of the castle when it hit. “This is horrible, the Naiumoms are here! My son is supposed to be born tomorrow, and now is when the Naiumoms choose to show up?! Why, Zezapion, why do you do this to me?!” King Rugabega screamed into the air with tears in his eyes.

    After being sent flying, Mas flew back into the pond of lava in Shadow Forest to meet with Apocalypse. “I just tried to fight the Rehguab king, but he sent me flying!” Mas complained. “Why did he do that? Was it because you killed a group of those peaceful Naituntuns? I’m proud of you, Mas!” Apocalypse replied. “What can we do now?” Mas asked the demon, to which Apocalypse told him, “Give me your body!” At that moment, Apocalypse’s form changed into a large amount of red aura that flowed directly into Mas’s body, and the souls of the demon and the Naiumom prince became one. “Ahahahahaha! This is great, I feel so powerful! I feel like I could go on a massacre right now!” Mas shouted into the air as he let out a maniacal laugh. The old, unconfident Mas was no more, and in his place, a new Mas that had a sadistic love for causing suffering, death, and destruction, that seemed to lack even a shred of remorse, was born.

    The next day was July 31, 1999. Mas flew to the castle of the Rehguab Castle once more, just as their Queen Starlight, a woman with purple hair and red eyes was giving birth, and landed in the same room this was occuring. “It’s a boy!” The doctor declared, before Mas ran up to the baby as the doctor exclaimed, “Who are you?!” Mas then began, “Hey there, dude! I’m Mas! We’re gonna take over this place, kick out those Momuians, and rule the world someday! Just you wait, we’ll be the greatest team ever! If you’re like me, you’ll remember this forever!” “Are you nuts?!” the doctor screamed, as Mas shouted “Demonic Beam!” and fired a beam of red aura at the doctor, disintegrating him. Mas then proceeded to fly out the window. “What was that?!” Starlight asked in a panic. “Just that annoying Naiumom that dropped in yesterday, I’ll deal with him later.” Rugabega replied. “...Oh yeah, what do you want to name our son?” Starlight asked. “Enaz. Enaz Rehguab. That’s what our little prince will be called.” Rugabega answered. A few days after this, Slug picked up Mas and had him go home, as she considered him incapable of taking over the planet. 

    For the next couple years, life was once again peaceful in both the Rehguab Kingdom and Shadow Forest. This would change on January 1, 2002, which was not only the start of the new year, but also marked the day that Mas was officially an adult according to Naiumom law. Mas flew to Htrae, and he announced from the sky, “My dad gave me the best birthday present I could ask for, another chance to take over this planet and have it all to myself! I won’t waste it this time!” Mas then flew into the Rehguab Castle and into the throne room, where King Rugabega and Queen Starlight were, with the queen now wearing a similar royal outfit to the king. “Your castle is now mine!” Mas declared, to which King Rugabega shouted “Who are you to decide that?!” Starlight then walked towards Mas, with a pale yellow aura forming in her hands, before shouting, “Starlight Crystal!” Her aura then created a bright yellow crystal that was pointed on two sides and fired it at Mas, who shouted back, “Demonic Blast!” as he fired a red blast of aura at her attack, which not only destroyed her crystal, but went right through it and hit Starlight at full force, turning the queen to ash. Mas then proceeded to ask the king, “Any other questions?” The king then flew into a rage as his aura blazed orange, with his hair also turning orange as he screamed with tears, “What did you do to my wife?!” “Oh, a showoff! Don’t worry, I can do things with my aura too!” Mas stated before surrounding himself in a red aura. In what seemed like an instant, Mas appeared behind the king and slapped him right through the castle’s ceiling and roof, into the sky. “Piece of cake!” Mas declared with a laugh.

    After this, Mas would assume control of the Rehguab Kingdom and raise Enaz, who had orange hair and orange eyes, as his own son, with the old king taking his own life out of shame. Mas would send a red aura into the sky that brainwashed most of the humans within the kingdom, and he would destroy the old castle and replace it with a new red castle that shined like a ruby, and he would build a laboratory in the basement. He would also rename Jadesrick to Bloodsrick. The boy he was raising quickly turned out to be a genius in science and aura, and by the time Enaz turned four, he was a terrifying force in his own right. Due to this, on October 12, 2003, Mas gave the crown and title of king to Enaz, though in reality, it was still Mas who held true power.

    It was June 13, 2004 in the Shadow Forest. Sparkle and the members of the Dark Cats were hunting as they normally do, when they heard Mas shout out, “Demonic Beam!” and quickly afterwards heard Crow scream “Noooo-!” before being cut off abruptly by the sound of a laser. The Dark Cats quickly gathered, and they saw Mas along with a young pale skinned human boy with orange hair and orange eyes, who wore a red shirt, dark red jeans, green shoes, and a jade crown. Both the boy and Mas were floating in the air. They also looked to the ground and saw the ash that used to be Crow. “That really is a lot of cats!” the boy stated, to which Mas told him, “Of course it is, Enaz! This is the Cat Forest of the Nega-Verse!” Lotus then screeched, “Leave now!” before a flaming orange aura appeared in Enaz’s hands as he shouted, “Fire Cannon!” creating a blast of flames that burned Lotus to a crisp. All the other cats began attacking at once, and the regular cats fell instantly to the attacks, until soon, only Berry, Autumn, and Sparkle herself remained. “You’ll pay for that, you ugly-!” Autumn began as he leapt at Mas to scratch him, but Mas hit him with another Demonic Beam, ending the life of Sparkle’s brother in an instant. “Oh, oh! Can I use the big finisher?” Enaz asked, to which Mas replied, “Sure, go ahead!” At that moment, Enaz produced a gigantic amount of red and pink aura, and in his hands appeared a giant red crystal with the letter “Z” at the center that burned like flames, and the crystal itself was radiating a rose aura. He then shouted, “Blood Z Crystal!” as he fired the crystal at Sparkle and Berry. In the moment just before the crystal could make its impact, a light blue aura surrounded Sparkle, who immediately disappeared along with the aura. Afterwards, the crystal hit Berry head-on and created a giant explosion, leaving a deep crater in the ground. This attack was one that Berry did not survive, and Sparkle also wouldn’t have survived, as the attack was the very definition of overkill. “Did you have to create one that big?!” Mas scolded, to which Enaz replied, “Come on, you know it was fun!”

    Very shortly afterwards, in a starry place, many new cats appeared. “Hey there, Autumn and Berry! Did you have to join me so soon?” Firefly asked his two children that were with him, all of which had a starry aura around them. Bootsy then walked towards them and asked, “What happened?” “The forest of the Dark Cats was destroyed.” Thicket explained. Lotus ran towards the group in a panic and asked, “Where’s Sparkle?! I found everyone else from the Dark Cats, but Sparkle isn’t here!” “Sparkle is still alive.” Thicket told them. This caused Smoky to ask, “Whaaaa? How that possible?” Thicket answered, “That, is likely the work of someone on Kero.” This left the new cats confused, as Bootsy told the former members of the Dark Cats, “Welcome to the Galaxy Cats! You can do things here like hunt, relax, and send dreams to those that are still alive! It’s the afterlife, so there’s not much in the way of rules!” “Actually, if you act evil enough, you can still get sent to the Underworld. You would have to be really evil for that to happen though.” Thicket corrected.

Part 17: Sam & Sparkle

    After Sparkle disappeared from Htrae’s Shadow Forest, Sam saw something shining in the sky that was falling towards Earth’s Cat Forest. “What is that?” Sam asked himself as he continued to walk further into the forest. Within seconds, something crashed landed in the bushes near the home of the Tree Cats. It was Sparkle. She walked near the home of the Tree Cats as she looked around and asked, “This is a forest, but everything seems brighter, and the skies are blue. Where am I?” “Somewhere that you don’t belong, clearly.” someone told her. It was an orange tabby with golden eyes. Hearing this, a gray cat, Mountain walked towards the two and asked, “Oh? It seems you’ve found something interesting here Sunlight!” “My name is Sparkle, and I am the leader of the Dark Cats.” Sparkle told the two with a quiet growl. As the three were talking, another cat that was around Sparkle’s size joined the mix. This cat had dark blue fur and blue eyes. “The Dark Cats? You mean, that cat group that got wiped out?” the blue cat asked, to which Sparkle cried, “Yes.” “What should we do with her, Smoky?” Mountain asked, to which the blue cat that was very clearly not Smoky replied, “I tell you what, Mountain! We should scratch her up until she screams!” Hearing this, the other two cats began attacking Sparkle, with the blue cat joining in. As this was happening, Smoky shouted from the stars, “That not me! That a bad cat!” No matter how hard he tried, no one on the ground was able to hear his screams.

    As the three cats were attacking Sparkle, Sam heard the noise and leapt towards where it was coming from. “Quit bullying that cat!” Sam told the three, to which “Smoky” ordered the other two, “Retreat!” Hearing this, both Mountain and Sunlight ran away along with the imposter. “That was not Smoky, she’s not even the same gender as he was. There’s something fishy going on here.” Sam stated. After saying this, Sam turned towards Sparkle and told her, “I’m Sam! What’s your name?” Sparkle’s heart was racing, and she could hardly contain her blushing as she replied, “I’m Sparkle. I appeared here after being chased by a human boy and a red cat. After that, these cats just pounced at me.” Sparkle then started blushing harder as an elderly cat with dark brown fur and yellow eyes that have darkened with age approached them.

    “So, what Zekk and Bootsy told us was true! Sam, you really do exist!” the old brown cat exclaimed, to which Sparkle asked, “Do you know this cat?” “I don’t.” Sam replied. The brown cat then told them, “My name is Roar. I’m an old friend of your father’s from the Tree Cats.” “Roar?! I heard about you from my father’s stories, but I didn’t think you would still be alive!” Sam replied, as Roar told him, “The Tree Cats are in danger, and my old bones won’t help me much.” “The Tree Cats are in danger?! Sam, we have to do something!” Sparkle cried, as she was reminded of what just happened to her cat group. Roar then explained, “It all started when a blue female cat came from the sky and pretended to be our former leader, Smoky, who died from grief just last year. She unleashed some type of darkness into the air, and afterwards, all of the other cats were obeying her every command, including our leader Mountain. The only reason I wasn’t affected was because I was visiting one of the forest’s clearings.”

    From this, Sam was reminded of a conversation he had with Zekk just a couple years prior. “You know, for a while before I started looking for you, I was part of this forest cat group called the Tree Cats!” Zekk began, to which Sam replied, “The Tree Cats?” “Yeah, I was in it with Smoky, as well as a brown cat named Roar, and many others, and our leader was this imposing black cat named Thicket!” Zekk answered. “What is the Tree Cats?” Sam asked. Zekk explained, “It’s a group of cats who hunt and live together like a family, and have this sort-of spiritual connection to the stars. Every cat in the group has a connection to the stars as long as they believe in it, and usually, those with the strongest connection become their leader when the previous leader dies. When a member of the group dies, they go to a starry place that only forest cat groups go to. They say that these cats watch over them, and are even able to send dreams, or in rare cases, directly intervene.” “They can directly intervene from the afterlife?!” Sam asked in shock, to which Zekk replied, “Well, it’s been so long since it’s happened that it’s basically an old legend at this point, but I was told by Thicket that if anyone from outside of the Tree Cats were able to get the cats from the stars to work in their favor, they could become very dangerous. I dread to imagine what would happen, if, say, Nutnutnutnut, Pink, or someone like that managed to get them on their side.”

    After thinking about his old memory, Sam told the other two, “We need to save the Tree Cats! We can’t let this fake gain access to the stars!” “I couldn’t agree more!” Roar replied. Roar then guided Sam and Sparkle into the home of the Tree Cats. “Roar, how dare you bring these two into our lair?!” the fake Smoky demanded, to which Sam flew at the cat and shouted, “We know you’re not Smoky, you fake!” Sam then attempted to slash at the cat, but she flew in the air to dodge. “She can fly?!” Sam exclaimed. The cat then fired lasers out of her eyes, as Sam dodged by flying as well, with Sparkle joining. “You mean after all these years I’ve been alive, I’m just now learning that cats can fly?!” Roar remarked with a gasp. Sam and the blue cat kept dodging each other attacks, until Sparkle shouted “Star Ray!”, firing her starry attack that directly hit the cat. The blue cat then began to shout, “Alright, you asked for it! Demonic-!” before being cut off by someone shouting, “Song Beam!” as the cat got hit by a blast of musical aura. Sam looked to see who fired the attack, and gleefully exclaimed, “Avril!” as he saw both Avril and Curt in the air with them, as Curt added, “I’m here too!” “The humans are helping us?! What’s going on?!” Sparkle screamed in confusion. This made the blue cat become furious, as she screeched, “Oh, you asked for it!” She then screamed towards the sky, “Come on out!”

    After she screamed, a sandy colored cat began to descend from the sky. “Look, it’s a Momuian! Maybe she can help us!” Avril told the others, as Sparkle began to answer, “That’s not-!” “You dare call me, Slug, the Naiumom princess, a Momuian?!” the sandy colored cat screamed in anger, as the blue cat cheered, “Thank you for coming here!” “Elkraps, are you really in a position to call upon a royal Naiumom such as myself?” Slug asked inpatiently, to which the blue cat replied, “But Mas told me you would help me!” “You don’t have a drop of Naiumom blood in your veins! You’re just a pitiful Momuian who stayed in the Rehguab Kingdom after Mas took over! You are lower than the tiniest pebble in the Purple River!” Slug screamed at Elkraps, which made the blue cat cry, “Why are you being mean to me? I’m Mas’s girlfriend, remember?” To this, Slug replied, “Then Mas needs better tastes! Face this! Demonic Blast!” before firing a powerful red blast at Elkraps, which sent the blue cat flying to the ground, knocked out, bloody, and heavily battered. “There’s no way she’s surviving that...! This cat’s even willing to attack her own allies!” Sparkle stated in horror.

    “Huh? What happened?” Mountain asked as the rest of the cats acted like they were just freed from some type of spell. Slug noticed this and shouted, “What purpose would Elkraps even have for brainwashing worthless Earthling cats like these?! Begone!” before firing a Demonic Blast at the home of the Tree Cats, which caused the group to run away. “Be careful Sam, that cat is ruthless!” Sparkle warned the tuxedo cat, as the two flew towards the Naiumom princess. Slug then used her aura to slap both Sam and Sparkle away, into the sky. A golden electrical aura then appeared in Curt’s hands as he shouted, “Curt Blast!” firing a blast of golden electricity at Slug, which his her directly. Slug then screamed, “Ow, that hurt! That’s it!” before flying at Curt as she began to extend her jaw. “Watch out!” Sam shouted towards the sky, before the group heard someone shout, “Rock Move!”

    At that moment, at a speed higher than the others could keep up with, Pink flew towards Slug with flames around her feet and tackled the cat away from Curt before he could be eaten. Slug, now having burns and scratches all over her body and fur, cried, “I’m telling Tacgnol about this!” before flying away, leaving Earth to go back to her home universe. “No way, is that?!” Avril started, before Sam finished, “It is! It’s really Pink!” “She saved us? Why?” Avril asked, confused as to why the same woman who killed her parents over a decade before was now saving her. “I am no longer Commander Pink, who ended so many innocent lives. Instead, I am now Pink, who fights for the Momuian Empire and against those who wish to destroy innocent lives like I used to! I’m also a singer!” Pink told them, to which Curt stated, “I knew that last part.” The group then landed on the ground, before Sparkle went to each of the other four and surrounded them with a bright yellow aura. “I can feel my energy coming back! What is this?” Sam asked, to which Sparkle replied, “It’s some type of healing ability I learned from my father.” Afterwards, Pink asked Sparkle, “Wait, if Elkraps is a Momuian, does that make you?” to which Sparkle replied, “My parents were Naiumoms who escaped from Umom’s horrible rule. I grew up in a forest much like this one, where the skies were red instead of blue. In that world, I was the leader of the Dark Cats. Before I ended up here, I was fighting a young human boy with much paler skin than you, and a red cat with a skull on his fur. I failed to save the forest, my friends, my family...” Sparkle then began crying again, as Sam went to comfort her.

Part 18: The Blue Lion

    As the group was on the ground, the Tree Cats began to gather around them. “Oh yeah, Mountain, I had something I needed to tell you before that blue cat showed up!” Sunlight told his leader, who responded, “Sure! What is it?” “I heard there’s a pride of lions coming towards this forest!” Sunlight answered nervously, to which Mountain exclaimed, “A pride of what?!” “I did find it strange that I saw a bunch of lions heading here while I was flying here.” Pink stated. “Well, Sunlight, what are you waiting for?! Drive those lions out of here!” Mountain demanded, to which Sunlight asked “How?” “We’ll help you!” Sam announced. “Really?! Thank you so much!” Sunlight replied. The group of Sam, Sparkle, Avril, Curt, Pink, and Sunlight then left the home of the Tree Cats, and eventually, left Cat Forest as well.

    Not long after Sam and the others left Cat Forest, Enaz flew down into Cat Forest and picked up Elkraps. Seeing the state she was in, he told himself, “I seriously didn’t think that Slug would attack her. Did I miscalculate something? How am I going to explain this to Mas?!” He then flew away into outer space with Elkraps in his arms, flying as fast as he could to return to his home planet.

    “So, where are these lions?” Sam asked as the group was running in the fields, to which Sunlight answered, “They escaped from one of those places where humans trap animals!” “So, probably a zoo.” Avril concluded. “Judging from the way the lions were running, I’m guessing they likely came from a zoo in DC. If we start flying in the direction of there, we should find them.” Pink explained. Pink then took the lead as the group continued running, as Sunlight couldn’t fly. The group kept running until they eventually did find a group of nine lions, one of which was blue, and they also saw two familiar blue haired women trying to stop them. “Fluorine, Chlorine!” Sam yelled as the group approached. “I never expected you to show up here!” Fluorine replied. Both Fluorine and Chlorine then produced a teal aura in their hands and released it into the air, enveloping the area. “Sam, be careful!” Sparkle shouted as she created an oxygen shield around herself, as did Pink. As the teal aura enveloped the area, most of the lions fell to the ground and fell asleep, but so too did Sunlight, Curt, and Avril. The only ones left standing after this were Sam, Sparkle, Pink, Fluorine, Chlorine, and the blue lion. “Don’t worry, it’s only sleeping gas this time!” Chlorine told the others, to which Sam muttered, “A warning would have been nice.” as Pink was shaking, whispering to herself, “I really hope that isn’t some type of Naiumom.”

    The blue lion then let out a deafening roar, before pouncing at the group, knocking out both Chlorine and Fluorine with a single swipe, and the next one knocking out Pink. “What are you doing?!” Sam shouted, to which the lion just roared again. Sam then ran towards the lion as he sent aura to his jaw, and would gnaw at the lions foot, revealing something surprising on the inside. “Steel and wires...! Is this even a lion?!” Sam shouted as the lion slapped him away from its foot. As Sam was doing this, Sparkle was healing the others, and eventually, the group woke up. “This lion is made of metal! Try firing your acid at it!” Sam told Chlorine. Chlorine, who was skeptical, fired acid at the lion’s face, melting off its fur and revealing a metallic inside, which also began to melt. After doing this, the lion began making bizarre movements as it shouted, “Error, error!” before exploding into scrap metal. “A... robot...” Pink stated in disbelief, with Sam adding, “This might be a first for me.”

    Afterwards, Sparkle healed the other eight lions. The lions looked around confused, before Pink, Fluorine, Chlorine, and Curt grabbed two each. “Let’s take these guys back home!” Chlorine told the others, as Curt told Sam, Sparkle, Avril, and Sunlight, “Don’t forget to take Sunlight back to Cat Forest!” Pink, Fluorine, Chlorine, and Curt then flew the lions back to the zoo in Washington, DC that they escaped from, while Sam’s group headed back towards Cat Forest in the opposite direction. That evening, the four returned to the home of the Tree Cats. “We drove the lions away!” Sam told Mountain, who then requested, “Thank you, Sam! Would you and Sparkle like to stay here?” “Thank you for offering, but I already have a home!” Sam answered, as Sparkle added, “Sam, I want to go wherever you go.” “Sure!” Sam replied. 

    Later, the group of Sam, Sparkle, and Avril flew back to Sam’s house in Frederick, where they met up with Curt. Immediately after this, Sparkle became a member of Sam’s Team. A couple days later, Sparkle asked Sam a big question as she blushed, “Sam, I know this may be sudden, considering I only met you a few days ago, but... Will you be my mate?” Sam’s answer was, “I’ll do you one better! Sparkle, will you be my wife?” “What’s a wife?” Sparkle asked, with Ozzy answering, “When two beings love each other very much, they go through this ceremony called marriage, which shows that the love they have for each other is forever. Usually, humans are the ones who do that though.” Pink overheard this from another room and walked into the living room, where Sam and Sparkle were, where she told them, “Momuians do marriage too.” “Really?!” Avril asked, as Pink stated, “I’m actually able to perform them under Momuian law.” “That sounds even more romantic than what we have in the forests! Yes, I’ll do that! Sam, let’s do this marriage thing!” Sparkle replied.

    It was now September 3, 2004, when every member of Sam’s Team, as well as Mom, Dad, Zane, who now had brown hair and brown eyes, Pink, Samithia, Diamond, Ollie, Alice, and a young girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes who was wearing a purple shirt, gray pants, and black shoes, were in a field decorated to be like a marriage hall. “Where is this?” the young girl asked Mom, who answered, “This is supposed to be a wedding.” “Is this really for two cats?” the girl asked, to which Mom replied, “Be quiet Amber, it’s about to start!” Sam and Sparkle then got up to the front. Sam was wearing nothing as usual, as he was already a tuxedo cat. Sparkle, on the other hand, wore some type of white tiara along with an outfit resembling a white dress that was specially cut to fit a cat. “Samuel Catson, do you take this girl cat as your lawfully wedded wife?” Pink started, as Ollie was writing in the background. “I do!” Sam replied. Afterwards, Pink asked Sparkle, “Sparkle, do you take this boy cat as your lawfully wedded husband?” “I do!” Sparkle replied joyfully. Pink then told Sam, “You may now kiss the bride.” before adding, “Or, whatever cats do. I’m not an expert on that kind of thing.” Sam and Sparkle then rubbed their heads together, to which Pink stated, “That’s close enough, I guess!” Afterwards, Pink turned to Ollie and asked him, “What are you doing?” “Writing this down so I can pay off the US government to accept this cat marriage.” he answered. “Is that legal?” Pink asked him, to which he answered, “Pink, you’d be surprised at what you can get away with when you’re the richest person on Earth.” 

    Afterwards, the group celebrated. There were two cakes, one being a regular cake for the humans, and the other being made of chicken for the cats. Both cakes had icing that was pink, yellow, and white, and at the top of each cake, there were figurines of Sam and Sparkle. Samithia walked to the two and told them, “Samuel Catson and Sparkle Catson, this makes you the first Momuians to be married on Earth. Also, you heard that correctly. Sparkle, you are now part of the Catson royal family, and by default, a part of the Momuian Empire.” After the marriage party concluded, Sam’s Team, Mom, Dad, Zane, Pink, Diamond, and Amber headed back towards Frederick, some by car and some by flying. Samithia flew back to Momu, while Ollie and his wife Alice drove elsewhere.

Part 19: Donnie & the Fire God

    Some time passed, and it was now October 5. “Why can’t I use aura like Mark and Curt?! I ask and they tell me ‘Oh, you have too much of a temper’!” Donnie, who had grown much taller than he used to be, complained to himself. He walked down the street outside of his house when he ran into a man that he couldn’t help but notice. It was a man with tall red hair that was in a giant spike, who had fair skin and green eyes. The man’s outfit stood out even more, wearing a red kingly outfit. As Donnie walked past, the man looked at him and asked, “So you want to be powerful like your brothers, correct?” “How did you know that?” Donnie asked in shock, to which the man shouted, “I literally created your soul, you fool!” “Who are you calling a fool?!” Donnie shouted back, to which the man replied, “YOU are!” before he blazed his aura orange. All that Donnie could get out was a “Woah.” The man then cleared his throat and told him, “Now, Donnie, I already know who YOU are, but it doesn’t appear you know who I am! I’m Zapin, the Fire God, and you’re one of my FIVE spiritual descendants!” “You mean there’s more than one god?!” Donnie asked in shock, to which Zapin replied, “You’re just NOW realizing that?!” Zapin then grabbed Donnie by his arms and began spinning him in circles before shouting, “Fight or perish!” before throwing him well beyond Earth’s atmosphere and towards the sun at incredible speed.

    In seconds, Donnie had flown past Venus. He began to panic just before he managed to figure out how to create an oxygen shield before flying directly into the sun seconds later. Against all odds, his oxygen shield was strong enough to endure the heat and gravity of the sun, and he continued to fall into the sun’s core. Next, he sent some of his aura into his feet and learned flight, and began to use all his strength to escape from the extreme temperatures and gravity that he was plunged into. Within four hours, Donnie managed to fly out of the sun and continued flying before landing on Mercury three hours afterwards. After Donnie landed on the barren planet, Zapin landed in front of him. “So, you made it! I expected no less from my spiritual descendant! Maybe I’ll do that with her next! ...Never mind, she’s still too young.” Zapin told him.

    This type of training continued for just over two months, until it was December 8. “Alright, now you’re done with that kind of training! Now, the next kind of training will be...” Zapin thought before grabbing Donnie and flying, “In an even more difficult place!” Zapin then flew for a few hours before both of them felt them cross a barrier of electricity. “Nega-Verse! Now we’re almost there!” Zapin stated. “Almost where?!” Donnie asked. Within less than a minute, they crossed another electrical barrier into a place that was red and hot. “That’s right, you don’t even have to die to go here, you just have to fly really fast! Welcome to the Underworld!” Zapin told Donnie. Zapin then flew for a couple more hours before landing on the red fiery ground and dropping Donnie off. “You’ll need to survive here for a year, or else, you’ll be stuck here for eternity! If you DO manage to survive, I’ll pick you up on December 8, 2005! See ya!” Zapin told Donnie before flying away, as Donnie screamed, “Are you insane?!” King Nutnutnutnut saw this and stated, “H-h-he’s alive?! You know what? I guess all logic is out the window now! Weee!” before doing a triple back flip.

    As Donnie was training in the Underworld, something else interesting happened on Earth on September 14, 2005. Ozzy and Diamond walked into the house of Sam’s Team, where everyone besides Donnie was present, and with the two, there was a kitten with dark blue fur, which was darker than that of Elkraps, and had blue eyes. “Meet my son, Cobalt!” Ozzy told both of them. “Now there’s a new Catson in the family!” Sam replied gleefully, as Zekk told Cobalt, “Hello Cobalt, I’m your grandpa!” before walking towards Sam and whispering, “I really am getting old, aren’t I?” The house was full of joy that day.

    Two weeks later, when Ozzy was asleep, Diamond told Cobalt, “I’m going back to Momu. I’m sick of this planet. I’m not letting you get raised by such a primitive species. You will be raised as a Momuian.” Diamond then created an oxygen shield as she flew away with her and Ozzy’s son, and when Ozzy went outside to see the two as he usually did, they were nowhere to be found. Within a few days, Diamond had reached Momu and landed at the Momuian Castle. When they entered, Samithia walked towards them, and she asked, “You really left Ozzy?” “How did you know that?” Diamond asked, to which Samithia replied, “I know a lot of things before they even happen. As for you, get out of this castle.” Diamond then told her son, “Alright Cobalt, you heard her. Let’s go.” before Samithia grabbed Cobalt from Diamond and ordered her in a serious tone, “Cobalt Catson is a member of the royal family, unlike you. As such, I will have Loki raise him, as he doesn’t have his own son. You will go back to River Town, and if I so much as see you in this castle again, I will exile you to the Dumb-Verse.” To this, Diamond responded, “Yes, your majesty.” before flying away crying. “Was that necessary?” Longcat asked his wife, to which she replied, “She’ll be back, and she will be a Catson, but her husband will not be Ozzy.” Samithia told him without elaborating further. As the new family of Diamond, Cobalt, and Ozzy had already been broken apart, Diamond would live in River Town until she found her next partner, Cobalt would be raised by the scientist Loki Catson, and Ozzy would become so depressed that he would start going to church.

    On December 8 of that same year, Zapin flew Donnie back to Earth. Donnie then entered his house after being gone for over a year. “Where have you been all this time?!” Mom scolded, with Sam adding, “You left for a whole year!” “Oh, I’m sorry. I just got taken away by this Zapin person who you’ve probably never heard of!” Donnie told them. Surprisingly, Mom understood, and replied, “Well, at least you were safe!” “I wouldn’t call being in the Underworld or the SUN safe.” Donnie replied before walking to the kitchen and stating, “I’m going to go cook some chicken.” “You’re going to cook?!” Mom asked. Donnie then pulled out a chicken breast as flaming orange aura appeared in his hands, and he used his aura to create flames to cook the chicken breast, eating it immediately afterwards, unfazed by how hot it was. “You call that cooking?” Mom asked herself, dumbfounded by what she had just witnessed.

Part 20: Super Momuian

    For the next year, things were peaceful, and it wasn’t until March 2007 that anything new would occur. In the stars where the Galaxy Cats lived, Thicket stated, “The time that the yellow cat will rise is near.” “You mention the yellow cat again. Just what is the yellow cat?” Roar, who was now in the stars after passing away from old age, asked. “That cat from the dream that was just over 14 years ago.” Thicket answered. “I wonder if the cat is a Momuian or a Naiumom?” Firefly asked, to which Thicket replied, “It’s hard to say. Someone who was here before even I was sent that dream.” “Do you mean what I think you mean?” Firefly asked, to which Thicket replied, “Yes, I think it was Tree herself.” “The same Tree who killed an orange cat, immediately regretted it, and vowed to be peaceful for the rest of her days?” Roar asked, to which Smoky cried, “Tree killed Tom?!” “Yes, it was that same gray furred Tree.” Thicket answered to all of them. The group then looked for the cat in question, and eventually, at the far reaches of the stars, they found her. “Tree, what did you mean by the yellow cat rising?” Bootsy asked. Tree then explained, “Tales from a far off planet called Momu tell of such a cat. When a cat from there is driven to great extremes, pushed beyond what they can bear, they can become something beyond Momuian. They become something known as a Super Momuian.”

    It was April 26, 2007, when Donnie decided to talk to Sam. “Sam, why are we always going out to save people?” Donnie asked, to which Sam replied, “Why wouldn’t you save people?” “But, what if I want to make someone scream?” Donnie asked. Sam replied, “You wouldn’t do that! You’re too good to do that!” “Oh yeah?!” Donnie asked before walking out the door, as Mark shouted, “Hey bro, whatever you’re thinking of doing, don’t!” Donnie refused to listen and opened the front door, walking out before he slammed the door. His aura then blazed orange along with his hair before he flew through the air, looking like a meteor flying through the sky.

    About a half hour afterwards, Pink was singing in a small southwest desert village when something landed with great force, sending sand flying in every direction. It was Donnie. “He’s not the same as usual, I have to hide!” Pink whispered as she hid behind one of the houses. Donnie then went around beating up the village’s residents. Due to Pink being present, news reporters were also, so before long, Donnie’s attack was being shown all over the country through TV. It began by showing Donnie throwing one of the village’s residents like a frisbee, while kicking sand in the face of a man that was already down. Also watching this were Mountain and Sunlight. “This is what the dream warned about, this is terrible!” The leader of the Tree Cats told Sunlight. The two then pounced at Donnie, knowing that they stood no chance against them, and they attempted to scratch at his face, but could not pierce his skin. He then slapped grabbed the two cats, one with each hand, before creating flaming aura in both hands. “I think this is it, Sunlight.” Mountain told the other cat with sadness in his voice, as Sunlight screeched, “Sam, please save us!” “Fire Beam!” Donnie shouted before blasting both cats with a line of flames, burning them to ash.

    The rest of Sam’s Team saw this on TV as Sparkle cried, “He just killed Mountain and Sunlight!” The TV read at the bottom, “Tall Deranged Superhuman Attacks Village in Arizona.” Sam gathered his team and told them, “This will be our most dangerous mission yet. Who will be going with me?” “I will!” Avril immediately responded, as Curt shouted, “Me too!” and Mark added “Me three!” “I need to go there! I may be old, but I’m not letting that boy do whatever he wants!” Zekk told Sam, as Ozzy also told Sam, “I need to show him the errors of his ways.” Hearing this, Sam announced, “It seems we have our team! Sparkle, you stay here! If we fall, we’ll need someone to contact Samithia for us!” “Please be safe!” Sparkle pleaded. After that, the team of Sam, Avril, Curt, Mark, Zekk, and Ozzy walked outside and flew into the sky, with Sparkle staying behind with the members of the household who weren’t part of Sam’s Team.

    Within two hours, Sam’s Team arrived in the village, with there somehow still being people alive. “What have you done to all of the people here?!” Sam asked Donnie in a stern voice, as Pink went out of hiding and stood alongside Sam’s Team. “What does it look like?! I beat them up and I roasted a couple of cats!” Donnie told him. Donnie then swung his fists at Sam in an attempt to beat him up, with Sam only being able to avoid some of his attacks. Donnie’s hands then began to have a flaming aura again as Donnie shouted, “Fire Cannon!” sending a large blast of fire towards Sam, which Sam dodged by landing on his face and scratching him before leaping down.

    “You...! How dare you scratch me?! I’ll make you pay!” Donnie screamed as his aura blazed at full force. Donnie then began to charge even more flaming aura in his hands as Mark shouted “Diamond Blaster!” and Curt shouted “Curt Blast!” Donnie was then hit with a mixture of golden electricity and diamonds as Pink shouted, “Rock Move!” and charged at full force towards Donnie, and while this was happening, Zekk and Ozzy also charged towards him. Donnie then shouted, “Fire Cannon!” and created a blast of fire far larger than before. These flames burned away all of Curt and Mark’s attacks, while also directly hitting Curt, Mark, Zekk, Ozzy, and Pink, burning them until their ashes fell towards the sand. In an instant, only Sam and Avril remained to face him. Avril then began to scream, “Song Be-!” before Donnie punched her in the stomach so hard that her body exploded into many bloody pieces. Now, it was only Sam.

    “Avril...! How dare you hurt my best friend?!” Sam shouted before letting out a long scream in the air, as golden aura surrounded him, illuminating the area around him in a flash. His fur changed from its usual tuxedo pattern, instead becoming a bright yellow. After Sam’s transformation, he shouted, “I’ll make you pay for what you’ve done to my friends and my family!” Donnie began to reply, “Oh yeah?! Just try-!” before Sam hit him with a powerful slap that sent Donnie flying out of Earth’s atmosphere, where he would continue to fly far away from Earth.

    After this, Sam left the village and cried, as he remembered all those he had lost. Mark and Curt, the two brothers that have been by his side ever since Nutnutnutnut’s invasion. Zekk, the white cat who was his father, who he met as a small kitten, and lived with later on for seven years. Ozzy, his younger brother, who he met in Frederick and has lived with, and has been through good times and bad times with him. And then to Sam, there was the most painful loss of all, Avril, who has been by his side since he was a kitten, who he went through many adventures and hardships with. To Sam, a world without Avril was unimaginable, and yet, here he was. Now, all that remained was his wife Sparkle, Mom and Dad, the young Zane, and somewhere far away, Samithia and the rogue Donnie.

    As Sam wandered the desert, he heard a voice from above him, and it asked, “Are you Samuel Catson?” Sam flew up to find where the voice was coming from and found a large black cat with green eyes, and it was not Samantha. “I am. Who are you?” Sam asked with a sad tone. The black cat replied, “I’m Mega, the God of Life. You seem awfully depressed for someone who just transformed into a Super Momuian, also known as a Super Momu. Is something wrong?” “Mark, Mountain, Sunlight, Curt, Pink, and even Zekk, Ozzy, and Avril just got killed in the desert village by Donnie.” Sam cried. To this, Mega responded, “Oh, that? Follow me.” Mega then led Sam back to the desert village. “Now, I don’t do this often, but I’ve heard your plea!” Mega announced as he covered the entire village in a green aura. 

    In seconds, everyone in the village who Donnie had killed was brought back to life, including Mountain, Sunlight, Pink, Mark, Curt, Ozzy, Zekk, and Avril. Immediately, Sam flew to his team, still in his golden form. “Avril, Zekk, Ozzy! And you too, Mark, Curt, Mountain, and Sunlight!” Sam cried with joy. “Thank you Zezapion for letting me live again.” Pink spoke towards the heavens. Sam then turned to the sky and began to say “Thank yo-!” before realizing that Mega was already gone. “They once said that a yellow cat will rise.” Mountain stated, as Zekk concluded, “That’s it! The yellow cat that the stars told us about was Sam all along!” The group and the village then celebrated, as Sam became known as even more of a hero than he was before, with the battle between his team and Donnie having been shown live on TV. After the celebration, Sam’s Team flew east in order to return home, bringing Mountain and Sunlight with them, while Pink flew away in a different direction. After dropping off Mountain and Sunlight in Cat Forest, Sam’s Team returned to Frederick, with every member of their team alive.

Epilogue

    When Pink flew away, she was headed towards Los Angeles before being stopped by a blue crystal wall, which immediately disappeared. Before her, Pink saw a seven year old girl with wavy blonde hair and blue eyes, who wore a sky blue shirt with a design of a light blue crystal with a blue letter “Z” in the center, as well as blue jeans and brown shoes. The girl told Pink, “Hello there fine lady. I’m Leila, and I’m looking for recruits for Loki’s Team.” “Loki?” Pink asked, wanting to know if she was referring to the same Loki that she knew. “Loki Catson of the Momuian royal family.” Leila elaborated. “Hmm... Show me where this is.” Pink answered, to which Leila replied, “Alright.” She then flew Pink towards Frederick to a house across the street from the house of Sam’s Team. When she and Leila entered the house, they both saw Loki waiting there for them. “Is that you, Pink? It’s nice to see you again!” Loki greeted Pink, before continuing, “I presume this means you want to join our team?” “That’s right!” Pink answered. To this, Loki told her, “Then welcome to the team! We’re here thanks to a young girl named Amber and her parents letting us use this house! Amber is usually at the house of Sam’s Team anyways.”

    In June, Donnie would return to the house of Sam’s Team, but everyone in the house became wary of him, with the exception of Zane, who appeared to be clueless about the battle that had occurred just a few months prior.

    Some time had passed since the battle, and it was now October. Zane, who was wearing a beige shirt and sweatpants ran down the stairs, into the kitchen and past Mom and Dad into the living room. Once he was in there, he shouted to Sam’s Team, “Good morning! I’m gonna go take a walk!” before running out the front door and rushing outside. “Here we go again. He sure can be hard to deal with.” Sam told Sparkle, who replied, “That is true, but he is only a child.” Sam then went to the door and told his team, “I’m heading out! Curt, take care of the house while I’m gone!” “I will! Good luck, Sam! Bring Zane back safely!” Curt responded, with Zekk adding, “Make sure to come back safe, son! Don’t get hit by any cars!” “I’ll make sure to come back safely with Zane!” Sam reassured them before going out the door. With that, a new story would begin, as while Zane seemed like just an ordinary boy at the time, he was destined for much more, for within him was the aura of Zezapion, the Time God.
