Tale of Earth & the Gods of Mersunai

Chapter 1: Birth of the Four Omegas

In the beginning, there was no life, no death, no light, no darkness, no time, and no space. There was nothing, and that was the case until there finally was an electric blue light and a violet light, and from those lights emerged two beings, a rainbow furred cat with glowing white eyes, and a light rainbow furred biped bear with black eyes. The cat was a being of life, light and creation, and the bear was a being of death, darkness, and destruction. The cat was named Omega, and the bear was named Rainbow. Immediately, the two attacked each other at full force, and from this attack, the big bang occurred, creating the universe. As the universe expanded, Omega shined a rainbow light on some worlds, giving them life. Rainbow would, however, occasionally attack and destroy those that Omega had created. This would lead the two to fight often during a span of over twelve billion years, as some worlds lived, and others perished. Eventually, Omega chose to create guardians on a planet in this universe he created. This planet was hot and desolate with intense pressure, a planet that was so extreme that no ordinary life would be able to live there. With a rainbow light, many beings were created, blessed by Omega to have incredible power, and also to be immune to death by any natural causes, and these beings would become known as gods, just as Omega and Rainbow were. This world would be called Mersunai by its inhabitants. Less than a billion years later, Omega shined a light on a planet neighboring Mersunai, and that planet would become home to life. This planet would become known as Earth, and the world of Mersunai would be known as Venus to that planet’s future inhabitants.

While many worlds were on their own, Earth enjoyed protection from the many gods of Mersunai. For the next couple billion years, life would evolve on Earth, until eventually, the many recognizable species of that planet would come into existence, including humans. The gods protected humans during the early stages of the existence of their species, as they lived a primitive life. Eventually, after over a million years of existing, humans began to farm and became civilized, and would worship the many gods of Mersunai. Some humans even claimed to descend from the gods, though barring a few exceptions, this was almost never the case.

Eventually, Rainbow would come to the solar system, so the gods of Mersunai could not be as present on Earth. The gods would fight to protect Earth, and many would fall, as while they could not die of natural causes, it was possible for them to be killed by other gods. This would cause the population of Mersunai to drop drastically, and over time, humans would begin to forget and outright deny their existence, choosing to worship only one god, or no gods at all. Most of the Mersunai gods that humans worshiped were slaughtered by Rainbow, so these gods no longer answered humans, and this resulted in such gods losing most or all of their following. This eventually became so dire, that by around the human year of 1803 AD, less than 1,000 Mersunais remained. Eventually, Omega himself descended down to Earth in 1812 and shined his rainbow light to create messengers to the humans. These messengers often took the form of inanimate objects, and they would try to hint towards the existence of the mysterious power that created them, but instead of listening, most humans regarded them as possessed and would either discard or destroy them.

That year, a human boy went to a lake holding one of his toys, a light green plush turtle with blue eyes. He sat there looking at the lake with his turtle, when suddenly, a rainbow shined towards the lake. The boy exclaimed, “Woah...!” as before his eyes, he saw the figure of a rainbow cat with glowing white eyes descend from the sky before hovering over the lake. “Greetings, mortal. I am Omega, the God of Creation.” the cat told him. The boy was left speechless, before Omega shined a rainbow light on his plush turtle. “...I’m alive? This is a pretty strange body.” the turtle then spoke. Hearing this, the boy exclaimed, “There’s a rainbow cat, AND Mertle’s alive?!” “So that’s my name, Mertle. From the looks of it, I appear to be some kind of plush turtle.” the toy stated. Omega then told Mertle, “Mertle, my son, you are to protect this boy, as many tough times are soon to come to this world.” He then turned to the boy and continued, “Do not forget what you saw here today.” before rising up into the sky and disappearing from Earth.

For generations, Mertle would watch over the Earth, while protecting and providing company to the family he was in. At some point, a living plush frog that wore overalls named Bullfrog would join him. Within the coming years, human technology would begin advancing more rapidly, as wars became deadlier as a result of this. Even Mertle and Bullfrog faced battles due to these wars, and in one of them, Bullfrog lost his life. Despite the wars, humans would continue to flourish, as the gods of Mersunai continued to hold Rainbow at bay. This changed in 1993, however, as the population of Mersunai dropped below ten. As a last resort, Omega descended upon Earth once more with his son, a black kitten with green eyes, and he took this kitten to a house somewhere in Frederick, Maryland. He told the cat, “Mega, my son, I will be going to sleep on Mars for one billion years. You are to turn into a plush and remain in that form until someone with special powers comes to this household. Farewell!” before leaving Mega behind in the house and flying away. Mega surrounded himself in a bright green aura and turned into a plush, as he cried to himself, “Now what do I do? This place is so cold, it’s nothing like home!” He then heard a voice speak, “Do not fret, young one. You are not alone here.” He turned around to see a plush turtle speaking, who continued, “Your name is Mega, am I correct? It seems like you and me are brothers, though we might be over a hundred years apart! My name is Mertle!”

Omega would fly towards Los Angeles, California, before stopping in the air. There, he surrounded himself in a rainbow light before transforming into a human baby, and slowly descended down towards a house in the city. “How horrible! Who would leave a baby like this?!” a woman with black hair and brown eyes who wore a green dress exclaimed. She took the baby inside, and the father, a man with brown hair and green eyes that wore a black jacket and blue jeans asked, “What are you doing bringing this baby in here?!” “He got abandoned on the streets!” she told him. Eventually, after the two fought for a bit, they decided to keep the baby and name him Clyde, unaware that the child was actually Omega.

Things were calm for both Omega and his son Mega until the year 2000, when the parents noticed that the boy, who now had wild black hair, brown eyes, and wore a yellow t-shirt and brown pants, appeared to be sick. “Is something wrong, Clyde?” the father asked him, before Omega shouted, “Rainbow!” He then emitted a rainbow light, and from that light, a baby boy and two baby girls appeared. The three babies that were just created then flew out the window and into the sky, and would fly until they reached three separate houses in Frederick, Maryland. Clyde, however, remained in Los Angeles, and would lose all of his memories of being Omega. “This boy’s a freak of nature!” the father screamed, as the mother ran out the door. Before long, both parents would leave, and Clyde would live alone.

The first baby, a girl with green eyes, arrived at a house of a woman with black hair, brown eyes, and a red dress, and a man with blonde hair, green eyes, who wore a white polo with brown pants. They took her in immediately. “I’ll name her Abby!” the adoptive mother declared. The second baby, a boy with green eyes, arrived at the house of a family, with the mother having long brown hair, green eyes, and a purple dress, and the man having curly red hair, hazel eyes, a green t-shirt, and black pants. These parents were more reluctant to take in the baby, but their three children, all boys, begged them, so they took him in. The mother would name this boy Zane, and he would have extra company that Abby did not have. As he was crying one day while the other boys were playing, a certain black plush cat, Mega went over to comfort him. The boy realized from Mega’s beating heart that he was alive, and the two would have a special bond.

The last baby, a girl with bright blue eyes arrived at the doorsteps of two women in a crib with a yellow cloth. "Does that mean someone acknowledges us being together?" one of the women asked, to which the other replied, "I don't know about that, babe. Who around here would be fine with a kid having two moms?" One of the women was taller, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a white sweatshirt and gray pants, while the other was shorter, with medium length dirty blonde hair and green eyes that wore a blue dress. The blonde woman asked the other woman, "So, what do we do?" The two saw a note in the crib and opened it. It read, "You have been chosen to be the foster parents for this baby. This decision was made because I have determined you to be one of the best candidates for raising this young girl. I have sent this note to you and not to the other parents because you appear to be the only couple accepting enough to write to, and I didn't want to give you three children. I cannot raise the child myself, as I am too young. Sincerely, Clyde" “What is this?!” the shorter woman exclaimed, as the taller woman answered, “I don’t know Maggie, but I guess we have no choice but to take her in.” “Okay, I guess Clyde wins, Susie.” the woman with dirty blonde hair replied. Susie then declared, “Let’s name her Nikki!” “Nikki? Why that name?” Maggie asked, to which Susie replied, “She looks like a Nikki to me, that’s why!” “Well, I guess we’re naming her Nikki then!” Maggie decided.

It was around six months since each couple took in their babies, when Susie and Maggie were teaching Nikki to walk. Nikki was beginning to grow bright blonde hair. “Walk to mama!” Maggie told Nikki, but Nikki tripped. Instead of falling to the ground like expected, however, she instead stopped herself in midair, less than an inch from the ground. She then adjusted herself in the air in such a way that she was back on her feet. "Wait, was I just seeing things, or was she off the ground for a second there?" Susie asked. A day after managing to fly, Nikki perfected walking as well. “Yay, you did it!” Maggie cheered as she congratulated her daughter. Nikki then said “Ma!” happily as she clapped her hand, producing what looked to be glitter with her hands, though it was actually light. “Where did she get glitter?” Maggie asked herself, as Susie told Nikki, “Come to Sue!” Nikki then walked to her, but did so faster than she should have been able to. "Wait, Maggie, are you sure this is a regular baby?" Susie asked, to which Maggie replied, "I don't know..." Nikki began floating again, and then she started flying around the room cheerfully, clapping and producing light in the process. "Is this what most parents have to go through?!" Maggie asked in shock.

That night, while Nikki was sleeping, both parents were at a loss, as Maggie asked, "What are we supposed to do Susie? What will people do if they learn that we're caring for a flying baby?!" "Well, obviously, we're going to have to keep this a secret. Maybe move to a more rural, quiet area so there would be less eyes on us." Susie replied. "Do you think we actually have the money for that, Susie? And what will the baby do if people learn about her ability to fly?" Maggie asked. "Then we give her a secret identity. Slap some glasses on, they'll think she's two different people." Susie suggested with a slight laugh. "This isn't some comic book! This is serious!" Maggie shouted to her in response. Susie then got serious and told her, "Well, I don't know. Maybe we're not alone in this situation though." "Well, I guess it won't hurt to do some looking around." Maggie replied. Nikki, who had been adopted last, was the first to show signs of being out of the ordinary.

The next day, Maggie and Susie went out with Nikki, as the three ran into the parents that were raising Abby. “So, what would you do if your baby started doing things that were out of the ordinary?” Susie asked them, to which Abby’s adoptive father asked, “Well, what kind of things would you be referring to?” “Flying, producing glitter from her hands, stuff like that.” Susie answered. To this, the mother boasted loudly, “Why, I’d assume she were some type of demon! I would toss her up in the air towards a pack of wolves, and watch them tear her limb from limb! Awoowowowowooo! That’s the noise the wolves will make after eating that demon baby!” “You sure are scary, Melissa.” the woman’s husband replied, to which she told him, “Come on, Jim, you know you’d do the same!” “Maybe not to the wolves, that’s too mean. I’d just take her out back and put a bul-!” the husband began to reply before Susie shouted, “We’ve gotta go! Talk to you some other time, okay?” before grabbing Maggie’s hand and running away.

A few months later, it was a November day when Melissa, Jim, and Abby, who now had blood red hair, were outside. Abby got cold. In order to deal with this, she managed to warm her hand up until she created a small flame. Melissa saw this and shouted, “Jim, come quick!” He rushed over and saw this, and immediately, the two rushed home. By the time they got home, the flame was out. “Okay, maybe it was just an isolated incident.” Jim began to say, as Melissa approached and Abby created a flame again. “That’s it!” Melissa began to say as she went after the baby, but the flame in the baby’s hand ended up burning her, causing her to cry and scream, before eventually running out the door. Jim soon followed, and as such, Abby was left alone, as they would never come back. Despite this, Abby would survive, and would eventually learn to fend for herself. Abby was the second to show signs of being unusual.

In January 2001, the adoptive parents of Zane, who now had brown hair, saw how much he loved being around Mega, so they got him a huge bag of plushies and action figures. In February, he tried to have fun with the plushies, but they wouldn’t move like Mega did, and he realized that they did not have beating hearts. When he realized that the toys were not alive, he began crying before emitting a rainbow light from his heart, which hit all of the plushies in the room as well as the family’s pet cat. This light would cause every toy it touched to come alive, and gave the cat exceptional strength. After this, Zane and Mega rejoiced, as the parents were terrified. “Come on, we’re leaving!” the mother told her other three children before leaving. After this, the plushies and action figures of that house organized to protect and take care of the baby, Mega, and the family cat that was also left behind. They would call the place they lived in by the name Plush Land, ruled by a plush lion named King Lion, and a plush cat named Queen Ann. With the help of these plushies, Zane would not be alone like Abby was.

A few days being left behind, Zane’s parents did something that Abby’s parents didn’t do. They came back to the house with a priest from a local church, as the priest thought that he had been possessed by the devil. The priest attempted to exorcise Zane, but every attempt he made failed, and this continued until Mega told the priest, “Maybe instead of being afraid of this child’s ability to create life, maybe you should be more kind and accepting towards them.” This caused the priest to shriek, “The plush speaks! It’s a demon!” before holding out a cross and tossing holy water at Mega, which failed to have any effect. Mega then surrounded himself in a bright green light before transforming himself into a young girl with short black hair and green eyes that wore a black dress. “You should accept us for who we are instead of shunning us because we’re different.” Mega told the priest. The priest then began to panic more as Mega surrounded Zane in a light blue light that teleported him to his room. The priest then ran out of the house screaming, with the parents following suit. After they left, Mega once again glowed green as she transformed back into a plush cat. After this, the parents would only return once every couple of weeks to bring back necessities for Zane, the family cat who soon became known as the Top Predator, and Mega. Before long, Zane became known in that house as the Creator.

After Zane’s adoptive parents ran for the hills, Mega would occasionally transform into his human form to go out. The plushies had a peculiar diet, and one of the biggest food items that they would eat was vanilla beans, so Mega would have to find those to bring home. Mega was shopping in a store one day for these beans, when a baby ran into her. A blonde woman then ran towards the two as she shouted, “Nikki, come back here!” The woman was Susie. “Is this child yours?” Mega asked her. “She is, thank you!” Susie replied before grabbing Nikki’s hand. Mega then asked, “Do you know where any vanilla beans are?” “Vanilla beans?” Susie asked. “Yeah, King Lion told me to grab some!” Mega answered, not realizing how strange she sounded. “King Lion? There’s someone named that?” she asked. Nikki then looked at Mega in the eyes. She felt like she knew her from somewhere, but didn’t know why she felt this way. “Me... ga...” she said, before Susie grabbed her hand and left with her. “Did she just say my name?” Mega asked herself. She then went to find the vanilla beans, and once she got them, he returned home as quickly as possible, returning to her plush form. The two would not cross paths again for quite a while, but Mega would remember what had just happened.

Chapter 2: Rainbow Comes to Earth & Mega's Power

A few weeks later, Rainbow flew to Earth’s surface, towards Frederick, Maryland. “I can sense a powerful life energy coming from here. There must be a Mersunai nearby!” Rainbow told himself before flying down to the house where Plush Land was. He took a look through a window and saw that the house was full of living plushies. As such, he surrounded himself in a red aura, transforming from his nine feet tall regular form, down to the size and appearance of a plush. He would then create a light which caused a green plush bear with a clover on his chest to appear to him. At this point, Zane still hadn't learned to speak, as the only thing he had learned to say at that point was Mega's name. Everything seemed to be going well in Plush Land, but someone could sense Rainbow's presence. "I sense his arrival is near. I surely hope that The Creator, Mega, and the others will be able to deal with this. It might be time to introduce myself to the other plushies." a certain plush turtle told himself. This was Mertle, who lived by a treadmill that the plushies called Mt. Treadmill, and the others were not yet aware of his presence.

The next day, Zane's parents arrived to drop off necessities. Mega opened the door for them to drop it off, but there was something he didn't notice when he opened the door, and that was Rainbow sneaking his way in with the green bear. After sneaking past Mega, Rainbow told himself, "I have finally reached the home of one of the Omegas. The time where I can finally eliminate all life from this universe is near. The only obstacle in my way," He then paused and turned to Mega before finishing, "Is him." Not long after, Zane's parents left, and the plushies went to fill the Top Predator's food bowl. A plush then approached Rainbow. "So, you ended up coming here after all." the plush told him. Rainbow turned around to see who it was, and it was Mertle. Mertle then began walking away, telling him, "I'd watch your back if I were you."

Later, the plushies, Zane, and Mega saw Mertle. "Who is he?" King Lion asked. "The plush who lives in the mountains who usually never comes out to the rest of the Plush World. The fact that he's here means that something must be very wrong." Mega answered. "You know me all too well. I expect no less from you, young one." Mertle responded, before telling the other plushies, "What he says is true. My name is Mertle. I watch over the Plush World from Mt. Treadmill to detect potential threats to the wellbeing of the Plush World and everyone in it." "What brings you here then?" King Lion asked him. "During the visit of the Creator's parents, a suspicious character that threatens the entire Plush World sneaked in." Mertle explained to them. "What?!" King Lion asked in shock. As they were speaking, Rainbow appeared before them alongside the green plush bear. "Hi there guys!" the green bear told them. The plushies faced them. "Who are you two?" Queen Ann, a light brown and white plush cat with amber eyes asked. "My name's Lucky, and this here is my brother, Rainbow!" the green bear told them. Mertle then whispered into Mega's ear. "It's him. I'm certain of it." "You mean, that Rainbow?!" Mega whispered in shock. "I'm afraid so." Mertle whispered back. "Did the Creator just bring you two to life?" Delicious, a dark brown plush cat with brown eyes asked. "Who's tha-" Lucky began to ask before Rainbow cut him off. "Yes, he did." Rainbow told them, which was an obvious lie, but most of the plushies believed him. "Okay then! Welcome to Plush Land!" Queen Ann told them. They two then went to an area that was referred to as the Plush City.

That night, Mega and Mertle met together at Mt. Treadmill. "So, he brought a friend it seems." Mertle told Mega. "What is he doing here?" Mega asked him. "I think that his target is probably the Creator. He probably detected the amount of life force that is here." Mertle responded. "That's horrible! The Creator is still a baby! They wouldn't stand a chance!" Mega exclaimed. "It seems that he hasn't done so yet though, like he's afraid of something, or someone." Mertle then added. "Do you mean...?" Mega asked. "Yes. I am referring to you, Mega. Even in your plush form, your life energy sticks out like a sore thumb. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise with you being the God of Life and all. However, you are still a young one yourself. I'm afraid you won't be able to handle this one alone." Mertle told him. "Who would be able to help me?" Mega asked Mertle. "Well, despite how it may look, I've been in a few fights myself long before you arrived here, so I might be able to help. I still think we should find some help." Mertle told him. "Who do you think would be able to help?" Mega asked him. "How about the Tornado brothers? I feel that their tougher builds might be helpful in this." Mertle suggested. "That might just work!" Mega responded. Mega then flew up. "Thank you for your help! I'll be sure to bring those two here!" Mega told him. He then flew away. "You're in trouble now, Rainbow. You're about to learn the hard way why you don't mess with Plush Land." Mertle said. Meanwhile, Rainbow watched from midair. "Interesting. These plushies might have some fight in them after all. I might have to deal with this "Creator" before it's too late." Rainbow told himself.

The next day, Mega entered the Plush City by air and went to two white and gray dinosaur action figures with blue eyes, one large and one small. Mega then landed in front of them. "How would you two like to train at Mt. Treadmill? You'll become faster and stronger!" he told them. "I'm in! How about you big Tornado?" the small one asked. "You know I can't turn down that offer small Tornado!" the large one responded. "Then let's go!" Mega told them, before the group headed to Mt. Treadmill. Meanwhile, Rainbow and Lucky watched. "Why don't we find the Creator?" Lucky asked. "I like your way of thinking. Let us head upstairs." Rainbow responded. When the two left, the dinosaurs would begin speed training. Meanwhile, the two bears walked through the kitchen, which the plushies called Ugly Mug Kitchen, and went towards the stairway to the second floor, which the plushies called the Stairway of Spirits. "No resistance in the kitchen? That's strange." Rainbow told himself. They then heard something approaching. The two then saw what was making the noise approaching fast. It was the Top Predator. "It's just a domestic house cat. No need to fret." Rainbow told Lucky. The Top Predator then stood in front of them and hissed. "He doesn't seem very happy..." Lucky cautiously told Rainbow, able to sense something out of the ordinary. "He's about to learn his place." Rainbow replied. Rainbow then flew at the Top Predator, but the tuxedo cat slapped him down. "...This is clearly no ordinary house cat." Rainbow told Lucky. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Lucky responded. Lucky then fired some slime at the Top Predator, but the cat dodged the slime and approached Lucky, very upset. The Top Predator could sense their ill intentions, and he wasn't having any of it.

As training continued at Mt. Treadmill, with the Tornado brothers now doing strength training, Rainbow and Lucky still had the Top Predator to deal with. "I can't use my full power right now or the other gods will definitely find us, and I won't be able to take them in this form." Rainbow told Lucky. "I understand." Lucky responded. Lucky's clover then began to glow a bright green, and afterwards, slime exploded out of his body. Eventually, a rubbery shell grew around the slime, containing it into a humanoid form. Afterwards, eyes appeared on the head of this shell and they opened, a mouth appeared, and a clover appeared on his chest. It then said, "I am Lucky from the planet Gelver, and this is my true form!" "Do you really have to show off for a cat?!" Rainbow asked, annoyed. "My bad!" Lucky responded. Lucky, now in his true form, covered the floor with slime, causing the Top Predator to have some difficulties moving around. "That was a nice job. I was right to pick you to come with me to Earth to take out the Omegas." Rainbow told him. The Top Predator was not so pleased, as he hissed and growled at the bear and his alien friend. Rainbow then flew up and attempted to attack the Top Predator, who was vulnerable. Before he could though, they heard a voice shout "TORNADO SPIN!" The two then saw what appeared to be a white and gray tornado approaching them. "Oh look, the plushies are here. How cute." Rainbow told Lucky. Lucky tried to fire slime at the tornado, but something attacked his legs, causing him to fall over. It was the small Tornado. "This slime can't stop action figures like us!" he told them.

As the Tornado brothers were fighting Lucky, Mega was watching from the sky and decided to descend. "So, you're the God of Death? Deciding to pick on an innocent house cat? That's pretty sad if you ask me!" Mega told Rainbow. "This cat attacked us first, and what difference does it make? All life forms must perish eventually for me to have a perfect universe that is mine and mine alone." Rainbow responded. "That's just horrible! Why would anyone want that?!" Mega asked him. "Watch this. You see that annoying ball of slime over there?" Rainbow asked Mega. "You wouldn't...!" Mega replied in shock. "Here is only a small percent of my power." Rainbow told him. Rainbow then flew up to Lucky and slapped him in the head, causing Lucky's head to explode into a slimy mess as Mega looked on in horror. "...Why? How could anyone be so horrible...?!" Mega asked in horror. After his head exploded, the rest of Lucky's body fell over, his slimy insides spilling all over Ugly Mug Kitchen's floor. "There. That's one less living being. This house is already more peaceful, don't you think?" Rainbow asked him. "Why? Why would you kill your own ally?!" Mega asked. "Did that Lucky guy really just get destroyed?!" the large Tornado asked. "He was proving to be a liability. I can't give the others any leads." Rainbow told Mega. "That's just horrible!" the small Tornado told him. Afterwards, some stars appeared in Ugly Mug's sky. "Stars? I can see that this clearly isn't the work of a mere human." Rainbow remarked. "It's the Creator's starry cloak!" Mega exclaimed. Afterwards, Mertle came down from the stars. "Thanks for the free ride!" Mertle said. "That baby did that?!" Rainbow asked in surprise.

As Mertle was landing, he began to charge an attack. "That plush really thinks he stands a chance against me?" Rainbow asked. He tried to fly at Mertle, but Mega stopped him. "Go and hide you two!" Mega told the Tornado brothers. "What about you?" The large Tornado asked. "I'll be fine!" he told them. They then went to hide under the table where the Top Predator slept, as the Top Predator was still stuck. Mega then began emitting rainbow energy. Rainbow kept trying to go past him, but Mega was too fast. Eventually, Mertle finished charging his attack. "METEOR SHOWER!" Mertle shouted before firing orange energy in the air, which then fired at Rainbow. The bear ended up taking the full force of the attack, though after, Rainbow was unfazed. "Did you really think that pathetic attack was enough to defeat me?" Rainbow asked the old plush turtle. As Rainbow was speaking, the stars began to approach Rainbow from behind and began to surround his body, and Rainbow asked as he saw this, "What is this?!" He tried to break free, but failed. "I don't understand! Why can't I break free?!" Rainbow asked the plushies. "Because this cloak was created with a part of the Creator's and Mega's power." Mertle told him. "It seems that in your current form, you're not strong enough to break through a cloak exposed to our light of life!" Mega added. Mega then grabbed onto Rainbow. "What are you doing?!" Rainbow asked. Mega flew him up the stairs and took a turn at the top, and then took a right turn. He then tossed Rainbow into a room, still tied up. "Enjoy your stay in the Plush Underworld!" Mega told him. He then shone a light on the door and closed it. Afterwards, Rainbow tried to bust out of the door, but he could not deal any damage to the door. "This isn't good." Rainbow told himself. Mega then took Zane through the room, so Rainbow tried to escape, but as he tried to fly out, he hit something, as if the door had never opened. Mega had created a barrier that prevented Rainbow from escaping the room, which was known as the Plush Underworld. Afterwards, Rainbow turned the other way from the door, and he saw something that he will never forget. Something that was going to stick in his head for a while. He witnessed the horror of Mega giving Zane a bath. It would take over a decade for the bear to become strong enough to escape. Rainbow then flew up and took a nap for a while to gain more strength.

Due to Rainbow being sealed away in the Plush Underworld, the surviving gods finally got to catch a break. Outside of Mega, Clyde, Nikki, Abby, Zane, and Rainbow, only five other gods were known to have survived. Of these gods, there was a God of Fire, a God of Ice, a God of Earth, a Goddess of Water, and a Goddess of Forests. None of these surviving gods and goddesses were ones that humans have ever heard of, let alone worshiped. These gods would gather on Mersunai, where the God of Fire, a man with curly brown hair, green eyes, a large mustache, that wore a brown vest over an orange shirt, and wore blue jeans and brown shoes, stated, “So, there’s really only five of us? That’s terrible! At this rate, Earth will be doomed for sure if Rainbow comes back!” To this, the God of Ice replied, “Jin, I’m aware that this is really bad, but freaking out isn’t going to do anything about it. What we need to do is find wherever the Four Omegas are, as well as Mega, if he’s still alive.” The God of Ice had the appearance of a man with short black hair, pale skin, blue eyes, who wore a white elastic suit with blue accents creating the illusion of a zipper and a belt, and wore blue shoes. “I guess you’re right, Ceip.” Jin replied. To this, the Goddess of Forests asked, “But where do we start looking? It’s true that we’re gods, but there’s only five of us, and we’ll have to search every human and creature on Earth!” This goddess had wavy blonde hair and deep blue eyes, and wore a green tunic, blue jeans, and brown shoes. “That’s a good question, Georgia.” the Goddess of Water replied, who had long dirty blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, and wore a long blue dress and green sandals. “To answer both Georgia and Leila, there is no easy way to do this, as it appears most of their power is hidden to us.” Jin replied. To this, the God of Earth replied, “Well, I guess we’ve gotta search then, don’t we?” The God of Earth was a short man with a thick build who wore no shirt, and wore a steel helmet, gray jeans with a brown belt, and brown shoes. He had curly reddish brown hair underneath of his helmet, had a thick beard and mustache, and had brown eyes. “I guess so, Dirmon.” Jin replied. Jin, Ceip, Dirmon, Georgia, and Leila then flew to Earth, where it would take quite a while to find the five they were looking for.

Time passed without incident until March 2002, when something unexpected happened to Clyde. He fell in the street as a car zoomed towards him. Just as it seemed that Clyde’s fate was sealed, however, he held his hand out and stopped the car with his own strength. Afterwards, he lifted up the car and placed it at the other side of him. “What in the world?!” the driver exclaimed, as Clyde told him, “I’m fine, don’t worry.” He then got onto the sidewalk before the confused driver zoomed away. “I didn’t know I had that in me! I thought I was a goner for sure!” Clyde told himself in shock. After Zane, Abby, and Nikki left him, Clyde didn’t have access to any of the powers he had as Omega, that was, until now. Although he lived alone, he was not a complete outcast, and had various friends. It could even be said that Clyde lived an ordinary life compared to the others. The next day, he went to school like nothing ever happened, with only him and the driver remembering the incident of the day prior.

Another incident would occur over a year later, while Nikki and her family were taking a hike in June 2003. As they were hiking, her mother Maggie got near a cliff and began to fall off, as her other mother Susie screamed “Maggie!” In that instant, Nikki flew in the air at high speeds towards Maggie, and caught her before she could hit the ground. Afterwards, Nikki flew her back up to where Susie was and landed. “You... saved me!” Maggie gasped with disbelief, with Susie commenting, “You’re like some kind of superhero!” With this, Nikki realized that she had powers that regular people did not have, and she also realized that with her powers, she could save others. A couple days later, Nikki decided to change her outfit. She was wearing a white t-shirt with gray pants at the time, and she went shopping with Susie to get a new outfit. There, she chose to get a frilly white blouse and skirt with yellow accents, and bought some white sneakers to go with it. The next day, she flew outside and saw a woman being held at gunpoint, as a man shouted, “Give me your money!” Seeing this, Nikki flew down as she shouted, “No you don’t!” before shining a yellow light into the attacker’s eyes, causing him to stumble and drop the gun. She then took the gun and threw it somewhere far away, before grabbing the woman and taking her to safety. Over time, she would become known as the Lightspeed Girl, as she would continue to act as a vigilante when in her frilly costume, and living as a normal girl when she wasn’t.

As Nikki continued her heroics, and as Abby and Clyde continued to live alone, something would happen in Zane, or the Creator’s life. It was February 2005, when the small Tornado, alongside the other dinosaurs, got into an argument with King Lion. “Your majesty, a lot of us dinosaurs are carnivores! How are we supposed to live off of lousy vanilla beans?!” Tornado complained, as King Lion shouted back, “You fool! You are an action figure dinosaur, you don’t need meat!” “Maybe I should eat you, then!” the big Tornado replied, before King Lion demanded, “Get out of the Plush City and never come back!” After this, the toy dinosaurs would occupy the passageway between Plush Land and Ugly Mug Kitchen, and would call this area Dinosaur Valley, with the smaller Tornado becoming their first King, King Tornado. The dinosaurs would attack the cats of Plush Land, so their Creator, in desperation, called upon Mega in an area that was near Dinosaur Valley. Zane now had curly hair and wore a dark blue t-shirt, black sweatpants, and wore his starry cloak. To the plushies, however, he still appeared as a shadowy figure. He told him, “I have chosen to make you the guardian of Plush Land, and as such, I shall grant you with a special power.” “What is this special power?” Mega asked, to which he answered, “It shall be called Beauty Beam. I shall now grant you with this power.” He then shone a rainbow light onto Mega, before telling him, “Now take a deep breath, concentrate all of your energy towards your nose, and then breathe out for as long as you possibly can.” Mega listened and did as he was instructed. His nose glowed with a rainbow light before firing a rainbow laser, and so, Beauty Beam was invented. “Good job Mega. Only those I grant the ability to will be able to use this attack. Now go on and protect Plush Land!” Zane told him, before using his starry cloak to disappear back into his room, which was called Plush Heaven.

With his new ability, Mega would fly down towards Dinosaur Valley, where he would confront King Tornado. “Look who decided to show up!” a large gray rubber t-rex with yellow eyes stated, to which the king warned him, “Jumpy, be careful! This is Mega we’re dealing with!” Mega then demanded, “Tornado, stop your attack on the cats at once!” “And give up eating delicious cat soup? No way! Jumpy, get him!” King Tornado responded, as Jumpy replied, “Yes, your majesty!” Jumpy then got on his tail and used it to jump in the air like a spring. Mega then fired his rainbow Beauty Beam at the rubber dinosaur, causing him to collapse to the ground. “That should take care of one of his lives.” Mega stated.

Toys in Plush Land were bound by a three life system. Almost like a video game, those in Plush Land had three chances to live in the lower Plush World, which was Plush Land and Ugly Mug Kitchen. When they lost their final lives, they went upstairs to either Plush Heaven or the Plush Underworld. Essentially, that would be game over for that plush. In the literal sense, toys in Plush Heaven or the Plush Underworld were still alive, in the sense that they were still alive on Earth, but in their so-called afterlife, they would be protected from further harm by Zane himself, as well as Mega. The only three who the system did not impact were Mega, Zane, and the Top Predator, who could travel freely throughout the entire house.

Mega then fired another Beauty Beam at King Tornado, causing him to lose a life as well. The larger Tornado saw this and screamed, “He’s too powerful, retreat!” before the dinosaurs in the valley went to hide. For a few days, there was peace, before Jumpy declared, “I’m done with this!” before using his tail to bounce on King Tornado, causing the tiny dinosaur to lose another life. Jumpy then ran towards the Plush City and pledged his loyalty to King Lion once again, making him a traitor to the dinosaurs. This angered King Tornado so much that he and his brother stormed towards the Plush City. King Lion walked outside and shouted, “You two dare to return here?!” “Yeah, I do!” King Tornado replied, before the larger Tornado began rampaging throughout the city. As this was happening, the smaller tornado was going after the dark brown plush cat Delicious, when Mega got in the way and stopped him. Mega then fired a Beauty Beam at King Tornado, causing the tiny king to fade away. What had actually happened was that Zane turned himself and the king invisible took the king up the stairway, taking a right and dropping him off in the Plush Underworld where Rainbow was. Mega then fired a Beauty Beam at the larger Tornado, causing him to lose a life also.

After the defeat of the first King Tornado, the larger Tornado became King Tornado II. He charged to attack Plush Land again not long after becoming king, but got taken down by Mega once again. A few months later, King Tornado II attacked the Plush City, when Delicious tried to stand up to him. “Quit attacking the plushies, or I’ll...!” Delicious told him before the dinosaur laughed, “Or what, you’ll slap my hard skin?” The dinosaur then attempted to chomp at Delicious, before Mega took the brown cat to a mountain near where he met the Creator. He then taught Delicious the ability Beauty Beam, before Mega sent him back down. King Tornado II was now just about to devour a brown and black cat with a white underbelly who had brown eyes, when Delicious got in the way. He then fired a Beauty Beam at the dinosaur, ending King Tornado II’s final life. “You saved me...!” the brown and black cat told him, to which Delicious told her, “Of course I did. Fabulous, your life is precious!”

Before long, Delicious and Fabulous would fall in love and move away from the Plush City. The two would eventually find an abandoned wolf, which Delicious named Wolf, and they would raise and train that wolf. Dinosaur Valley would get a new king, a red triceratops action figure named King Horns, and in his first fight against the dinosaur, Delicious would lose a life to him, causing the other dinosaurs to add “the Great” to the title of King Horns. Eventually, King Lion’s first life would be ended, and the plushies would blame Wolf, driving him far away from where most plushies lived. In time, Delicious would end the last life of King Horns the Great, so Dinosaur Valley chose a new ruler, this time, a queen, who was a pink plush triceratops named Queen Sesaria. Delicious ended her first life as well. Eventually on February 2006, from the love between Delicious and Fabulous, a plush siamese kitten with blue eyes was born, a kitten that was named Vanilla. continuity note 1

Chapter 3: The Omegas Find Friendship

For school, the first years for Zane, Abby, and Nikki weren’t too strange, but as the three grew older in elementary school, they began to be treated differently. The girl who could create flames, and the one who brought life to plushies became social outcasts, while the flying vigilante of justice would become popular. Naturally, due to this, the lives of the three rarely intersected, and neither knew that the others were special. One day in March 2009, or around the time that Zane ripped Bull-Nod Doggy to shreds after Rainbow had the red plush bulldog attack Plush Land, Zane, Abby, Nikki, and Clyde would each receive visions. Zane saw a vision of cats flying in space. He heard a voice tell him, “In the distant future, there will be cats unlike those you know. They will be alien cats, who use an ability called aura.” The next one to receive a vision was Abby, who now had blood red hair, green eyes, a red hoodie, gray sweatpants, and black shoes. She would receive a vision of the rainbow cat Omega. The voice told her, “There was a rainbow cat who created everything, a cat who knows the past, present, and future, that has existed since the beginning of time, and will exist until the end of time.” The next one to receive a vision was Nikki, who saw a vision of Rainbow. “The ultimate evil, a bear of darkness. It will take everything in your power to defeat him.” the voice told her. The last one who received a vision was Clyde, who saw a vision of a bright yellow cat with green eyes. He did not hear a voice, and he just shouted, “Ew, what is that?!” Neither of them knew whether someone was speaking to them, or if they had just unlocked some long lost memories. Regardless, these visions would impact what they would do next. Zane would write and draw about these alien cats, and would call these cats Momuians. Abby would occasionally draw the cat she saw, and Nikki would begin saving people in a wider variety of areas to become more skilled. Finally, there was Clyde, who decided to make videos online where he had his mascot be a biped version of the cat he saw in his vision.

Around March 2011, Mega was watching videos on the internet when he learned about Clyde’s channel. “What’s this?” Mega asked as he looked and saw that it was a gaming channel, where Clyde would have an obnoxious sense of humor. “I don’t know, father. He seems kinda dumb.” Mega’s son, a gold plush cat with black stripes and amber eyes named Tankerang told him. Mega, however, saw something different. He felt something that pulled him towards Clyde. “Why do I feel like this? Do me and him have some kind of mysterious connection?” he asked himself. Mega then headed out and transformed into his human girl form again, and would eventually find a way to begin recording gaming videos of her own, as she would announce, “Hey, it’s Mega Tiffany here!” Mega’s channel wouldn’t become as big as Clyde’s channel did, with Mega not knowing whether it was because she was terrible at gaming or recording, because she was too boring, or if it was because her human form was a girl. Regardless, a few people would end up watching her channel, some of which also watched Clyde’s channel, as there was game overlap between the two. This would almost become a double life, with Mega sometimes being the guardian of Plush Land, and Mega at other times being the content creator Mega Tiffany. As a result of being in human form more often, she became used to living as both a human and a cat, while also living as a boy in cat form, and a girl in human form. To Mega, it made no difference whether she was a cat or a human, or a boy or a girl, as no matter what form she took, she was confident and embraced who she was. One day, Zane saw a video on Mega’s channel. “Hey, it’s Mega Tiffany here, and today we’re gonna be playing this block game!” the video played, as Zane asked himself, “Why does something about her seem familiar?” Later that year, Zane would start his own channel, but no one would watch his, with the exception of a few plushies that lived with him. Mega would be one of those viewers.

It was April 2012, on the same exact day that Emerald and Vanilla learned the truth about Plush Land. While Zane, Nikki, and Clyde got to live exciting lives, Abby’s life was still the same. She was still an outcast who had to fend for herself, without a friend in the world. She spent time watching content online, including Mega’s channel and Clyde’s channel. She sighed and asked, “Will I ever have friends? I wonder what it’s like to be like Nikki? She has so many friends, but she’s basically unapproachable.” She put on her shoes and went to school, which she walked to every day. Her first two classes of the day were uneventful, but something would happen as she sat by herself at lunch. She pulled out food that was cooked by her own flames, when someone walked towards her and asked, “Why are you by yourself?” It was Zane. To this, Abby answered, “Everyone’s afraid of me because I’m not normal.” “How come?” Zane asked. To this, she told him, “I’m only going to do this once, okay?” She then created a fire with her own flames, the first time she had intentionally shown her ability to another person, and after showing him, she quickly put it out. She then made the observation, “I noticed that you’re also by yourself. Why is that?” Abby, while not knowing who Zane was, noticed that he also sat alone at lunch every day. “Ever since I brought life to plushies and some other inanimate objects, everyone’s been staying away from me. The only friends I have are the plushies at my house. I don’t have anyone outside of there.” Zane answered. Abby then told him, “I’m here, and I’m not afraid being around you. What’s your name?” “My name is Zane. I’m also called the Creator by some.” he answered, to which Abby replied, “Well, it’s nice to meet you. My name’s Abby. We should be friends.” Zane then smiled and replied, “Of course!”

Lunch then ended, as a boy with curly brown hair, brown eyes, a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes observed Zane and Abby leave the room. The person then stated, “I sense something special about those two. Could they be who we’re looking for?” Afterwards, the boy thought to himself, “No, it is not yet time to look for them, for he has not yet returned. Until that time comes though, I’ll keep my eyes on those two whenever they’re here.” He then disappeared into the crowd.

The next event to happen would be when Zane and Abby went to their afternoon club after school, which they happened to share together. Today, Abby decided to do another drawing of Omega, which was highly detailed due to her having drawn him so many time. Abby then noticed Zane before approaching him, and she asked, “Hi! What are you drawing?” Abby then looked at his notebook, and saw a drawing of a bright green rabbit with a purple nose. “Is that a rabbit?” she asked, to which Zane answered, “It is. It’s a drawing of a plush bunny I brought to life. His name is Emerald.” “I like it!” Abby told him. She then showed Zane what she was drawing and told him, “This is what I’ve been drawing. What do you think of it?” Zane then looked at the drawing and answered, “It’s a very nice drawing. You’re much better than I am at this!” “Thank you, but yours is good too!” Abby told him. The two then drew until the day ended, before going home. The two would become close friends, being the only friends that each other had. During all of this, the two were still unaware about Nikki or Clyde being special, although both knew of the existence of the other two. Zane would tell Mega about him meeting Abby, when something stood out to him. “We showed each other our drawings. She drew this amazing picture of this rainbow cat with white eyes!” Zane told him. “You don’t say?!” Mega replied in response, to which Zane asked, “What’s wrong?” “It’s nothing! Really!” Mega answered. After Zane went to sleep, Mega thought to himself, “This must mean Abby is one of the Four Omegas as well, just like the Creator! Mertle was right, there really are more like him!”

During July 2012, Mega got a message on one of his social media accounts. He went to look and saw it was none other than Clyde himself. “Hey, you seem pretty cool! I’d love to hang out!” he told Mega. To this, Mega messaged back, “I’d love to! Where do we meet up?” Clyde messaged back his house in Los Angeles. “Yes, he finally noticed me!” Mega cried in joy, before walking outside in his human form before flying away. She flew all the way from Frederick to Los Angeles without the five Mersunai gods noticing her, and she landed. She then approached Clyde, who exclaimed, “Woah, that was fast! You must live pretty close by!” “I do!” Mega lied, not wanting Clyde to know that she flew thousands of miles in minutes, as she knew if she told the truth, her cover would be blown. “Let’s go play some games together, Tiffany!” Clyde told her, to which she gleefully replied, “Of course!” The two would play games together for a while. They kept going until Mega realized that she was late to meeting Zane when he got home, so she told Clyde, “I have to go now, let’s meet again sometime, okay?” “Alright!” Clyde replied. Mega then walked outside, and, once she was out of sight from Clyde, she flew back to Frederick, before going into an alleyway. She then transformed back into her plush cat form and entered Plush Land through the window, which was right by Mt. Treadmill. “Using the old shortcut again, are we?” Mertle asked him, as Emerald told him, “Welcome back!”

In October 2012, tragedy struck the household of Zane, Mega, and Plush Land. The Top Predator slowly walked into the Plush City before collapsing onto the ground. Mega called Zane as quickly as possible, and the two, alongside the plushies in the Plush City gathered to see what was happening. “What’s going on?” Emerald asked the other plushies. “It seems that the Top Predator doesn’t have much longer for this world.” Mertle answered, as Vanilla’s daughter, the gray cyborg plush cat with blue eyes, Silver cried, “Oh no...” In the last moments that the tuxedo cat was alive, the plushies, Mega, and Zane were all gathered around, until the Top Predator breathed his final breath. After the plushies paid their respects, they left, so Zane called Abby to come over. The two of them took the Top Predator’s body and put it into a plastic bag. They took him to a grassy area well away from Zane’s house, where the two buried him and paid their respects. As they did, a girl they didn’t recognize also showed up to pay her respects. Little did the two know that this girl was Mega in her Tiffany form. “Who are you?” Abby asked her, despite knowing full well that she was looking at Mega Tiffany. “...Just someone passing by. It seemed like you two had lost someone special. That’s all.” Mega answered. She then walked away, as she told herself, “I’m going to miss him. Hopefully he’s resting peacefully somewhere beyond the sky.” Afterwards, Mega turned back into her plush cat form and flew back to Plush Land.

The afterlife, although many claimed it didn’t exist, did, in fact, exist. During the time of the Top Predator’s passing, Ciep happened to be on Mersunai. When living beings on Earth pass on, their souls go first to Mersunai, where the gods decide what to do with them. When there were no gods there to judge them, the souls remained on Mersunai until a god did show up. Usually, the gods did one of three things. The most common was to send souls to Mars, where most souls would go unless they were truly evil. If the souls in question were truly evil, they would be left to wander Mersunai for eternity, under the planet’s intense heat and pressure. And then, there was the thing that happened the least, which was reincarnation. The Top Predator’s soul went to Ciep for judgment, as the God of Ice told the former cat, “It seems that you’ve lived a fairly long life for a cat. Also, did you realize that you were the strongest cat alive? That’s impressive!” The Top Predator had no voice in which to respond to the god. Ceip then passed his judgment, telling the Top Predator, “...This might sound kind of goofy, but how would you feel about being a dog? Trust me, I have my reasons. You will be an Earthling dog!” Afterwards, Ceip created a pink light, and the soul of the Top Predator disappeared from Mersunai. “I’d say he should be reborn sometime near the beginning of 2014.” Ceip stated. continuity note 2

It was June 2013, when Zane did something that he never did before, and that was invite Abby over to his house, or rather, to right outside his house. He took Abby to his yard when he told her, “I want you to meet some of my friends that live here! I’ll be right back!” before entering the house. Abby waited, and when Zane came back, he brought with him Emerald, Vanilla, Mertle, and Mega. Zane then told the four plushies, “Meet my friend Abby! I’ve told her about you four!” “Nice to meet you.” Mertle told her. “I’m Emerald the bunny!” Emerald told her, with Vanilla adding, “And I’m Vanilla.” Mega then flew up to Abby’s level and told her, “I’m Mega! Nice to meet you!” before shaking her hand as the black plush cat was in midair. “You can fly?” Abby asked him, to which he replied, “That’s right. Emerald and Vanilla can fly too!” “You three are so lucky. Me and the Creator can’t fly like you can.” Abby told him. “I thought you can create fire though!” Mega then stated, with Abby responding, “I can.”

Abby then backed away from the others to create a flame to prove to the others that she could create fire, before quickly putting it out. “That was so cool!” Emerald told her in amazement. “It’s nowhere near as special as the Creator’s ability to bring life to inanimate objects. That’s what they told me to call them when I’m around you, even though they told me that you know their actual name. This ‘they’ thing is pretty hard to do, by the way!” Abby told him and the others. Afterwards, Abby felt a discomfort in her head, which caused Zane to ask, “What’s wrong?” “I don’t know. It feels like I can hear the screams of someone. I’m hearing them crying for help. Something about a white monkey. It’s coming from a blue cat.” Abby answered. “That’s Moony’s special ability!” Zane exclaimed in panic. “What?” Emerald asked. “I need to take you to Ugly Mug now!” Zane told him. He then took the plushies back inside. Zane would not come back out. “I guess something bad must’ve happened in Plush Land.” Abby told herself. She then decided to walk home. That same day, Emerald would lose his final life when he sacrificed himself to fight against White Monkey with an attack so intense that it sent White Monkey’s soul straight to Mersunai.

A couple months after Abby’s interrupted visit with Zane, it was August 2013, and the start of the new school year the two of them and Nikki. The day went normally until History class began, as by pure chance, Zane, Abby, and Nikki all shared a class together. The three sat down along with the rest of the class. “Hey, he’s teaching me again!” Zane stated, referring to the teacher, when Abby told him, “Both of us are really in the same class as Nikki?” At this same time, Nikki took notice of both of them, and told herself, “Aren’t those the two loners? I think I should talk to those two later!” After less than a minute, the bell rang, and a man walked into the room. The man had short black hair, a short beard, amber eyes, and wore a blue suit with a purple tie, as well as blue jeans and black shoes. This man was their teacher, and he yelled, “Hey you guys!” Some of the students, including Zane yelled back, “Hey Mr. Ryan!” He then told the class, “When I say, ‘Hey you guys!’, you’re supposed to say, ‘Hey Mr. Ryan’! Let’s try that again!” They did, and indeed, everyone did. Meanwhile, Mr. Ryan wrote down on a clipboard, “Three of the Four Omegas are in my class this year. Is this Mersunai’s work? I hope this doesn’t help Noipazez find me.” Only he could see this, but one thing was certain, and that was the fact that he was no ordinary history teacher. The three Omegas in question did not seem to be concerned about their enigmatic history teacher as much as they were interested in each other. As such, the class went by without incident.

That lunch, Nikki escaped from the crowd that usually was near her to approach Zane and Abby. “Hi!” she told the two. “Hi!” Abby and Zane both replied, surprised that Nikki approached them specifically. “You two seem to be by yourselves. What’s wrong?” she asked, as her usual friends kept their distance, as they whispered among themselves, “She’s talking to the freaks of nature!” as another whispered, “What if the redhead burns her?!” The three ignored them, as Abby replied, “It’s because both of us are different.” “Really? That’s so cool! We should meet after school, okay?” Nikki told them. The three continued to hang out until lunch was over, and for the rest of the school day, most of Nikki’s friends stayed away from her. “It’s too late for her. She’s got the loser disease now.” one of them said.

After school, the three met each other somewhere away from the others, as she cheered, “You’re different!” before asking “What kind of powers do you have?” Zane and Abby were stunned by how direct she was, before Nikki began floating in the air, as she started, “I can fly, create light, and move fast!” “Does that mean you’re the Lightspeed Girl I’ve heard about?!” Abby asked in shock, as Zane replied, “My powers aren’t quite as cool. I can bring life to plushies and other inanimate objects.” to this, she replied, “That’s super cool, what are you talking about?! I can’t do that!” Abby then create a flame with her hand, as Nikki cheered, “You can create flames?! There are actually other super people like me in this world! Yes!” After she calmed down, she asked, “What’s your names?” “I’m Zane, but some call me the Creator.” Zane told her, with Abby telling her, “I’m Abby.” “Hi Creator and Abby, I’m Nikki! During the day, I’m an ordinary girl, but during the evening and weekends, I’m Lightspeed Girl, a hero that fights crime!” Nikki replied, before she added, “Can we be friends?” “Of course!” both of them replied.

That evening, Zane went to his bed, which was located in the room called Plush Heaven, with this bed being known as Creation Summit. Mega flew to him as was routine, and asked, “How did your day go?” “Me and Abby made another friend!” Zane told him. “Another friend?” Mega asked. “She’s a girl named Nikki who’s like us, except she has a lot of friends! Apparently she can fly and create light, and she’s fast! She got really excited to meet us, because her other friends don’t have powers like she does!” Zane told him. “Really? That’s great!” Mega replied. Zane then went to bed, as Mega told himself, “So now we’ve found three of the Omegas. If we find the fourth one, will I have to say goodbye to Clyde?”

Chapter 4: Rise of Rainbow & The Four Omegas

Some time passed, and it was now January 2014. Mega was messaging Clyde online, when Clyde told him, “Tiffany, I really like you! Do you think me and you can be together?” This question shocked Mega, who typed back, “Like, as in, a relationship?” “Yep!” Clyde answered. Mega had to think for a moment, before replying, “Let me think about it, and I’ll get back to you.” To this, Clyde replied, “OK!” and the conversation ended. Mega then thought to himself, “I really do like Clyde, but what of Plush Land and the Creator? Will he be okay if I leave to California?” Although Mega was not yet at that stage, he was already thinking ahead, as he knew that the moment he answered that question, everything would change. Just as Mega was contemplating what to do next, Rainbow’s power was rising rapidly, as the bear told himself, “I can feel it. The time for me to attack Plush Land has come.” Afterwards, Rainbow approached the door of the Plush Underworld before not only punching through the door, but through the barrier as well. Zane noticed this and began charging at him, but Rainbow flew towards him with great speed and punched him in the gut, causing him to collapse on the ground in pain, as Rainbow told him, “Know your place, you insignificant being.” Afterwards, Rainbow flew downstairs towards Ugly Mug Kitchen, with Zane still on the ground.

When Rainbow flew to Ugly Mug Kitchen, he saw a living fork and a living spoon named Mr. Fork and Mr. Spoon on the ground. Rainbow then told himself "Hey look, there are my first victims!" before flying down. Mr. Fork asked in terror, "Who are you?!" "I am Rainbow, the God of Death. That will be the last thing you two ever know." Rainbow answered, before firing a laser at both of them, turning them to dust. After defeating the two, Rainbow flew back up and told himself, "Ugly Mug isn't any fun. I suppose I should head to Plush Land now." Rainbow then saw Valentine Devil, the sole plush living in Ugly Mug, and stated "First, I'll tie up some loose ends." He then fired a red laser and disintegrated Valentine Devil as well. Rainbow then told himself, "There we go. Now it's time for me to head to Plush Land." before flying towards Plush Land. When he reached Plush Land, he saw the plushies thriving in the Plush City. He told himself "Oh look! Plenty of plushies for me to turn to dust! This should be fun!" before flying down. He began firing lasers at the plushies at random, turning some plushies to dust as others screamed and hid in terror. Seeing this, a group that defended Plush Land that was named Plush Legion Omega arrived in the city to stop him. The group consisted of Tankerang, as well as an orange tabby plush named Tabbie, and action figure named Barry, and a doll named Tina. Tankerang then demanded Rainbow, "Stop attacking the Plush City right now!" "And if I refuse?” Rainbow asked him, before Tankerang began to charge at the bear. Rainbow then fired a laser at him and all of the other members, turning all of Plush Legion Omega to dust, sending them directly to Mersunai.

Seeing the carnage, the now King Vanilla walked out to confront Rainbow, before asking in a serious tone, "Who do you think you are destroying the plushies as you have been?" "I am Rainbow, the God of Death." Rainbow answered. To this, King Vanilla told him, "Well, no matter who you think you are, anyone who tries to mess with Plush Land has to get through me first!" A rainbow light then flared up around King Vanilla as he began to charge at the God of Death. Rainbow was about to fire a laser at the king, but was stopped by Mega grabbing King Vanilla to get him to safety, as he told the cat, "Your body would have been destroyed if that hit you!" He dropped King Vanilla off at the Temple of Mega where Plush Legion Omega used to reside before confronting Rainbow. Mega asked Rainbow in anger, "Why have you come to Plush Land?!" To this, Rainbow responded, "I have come here for the sole purpose of defeating you and the Creator, and now that Emerald is gone, I have the perfect opportunity to do so. I just thought I'd turn some plushies to dust to lure you two out of hiding." "There's no way I'm letting you hurt either of us, or any of the plushies, or any of the beings here on Earth!" Mega told the bear. He then attempted to fly at Rainbow at the full force of the form he was in, but the bear punched him so hard that he flew through a wall, landing somewhere in Frederick that was far away from the Plush World. Mega then fell unconscious as he hit the ground.

The first thing Mega did when he was out cold was send his spirit out to find Nikki, and after searching for a short while, he found her. He then entered her thoughts and told her, "This is Mega! Please help us! Me, Zane, and Plush Land are under attack by a bear named Rainbow, and I've been defeated! If he's not stopped, he won't only destroy Plush Land, but Earth as well!" "I will fly to where you are right away!" Nikki told him. Mega then left Nikki's thoughts and flew into Zane's thoughts, as Zane was watching the battle unfold from Creation Summit alongside Emerald. He told Zane, "You must let Emerald fight Rainbow. If you don't, all of Plush Land will be at stake. No, not just Plush Land, but our very lives! If Emerald doesn't stop Rainbow before it's too late, Rainbow will kill the both of us as well as everyone who is close to us, and probably everyone on this planet as well!" After this, Mega's spirit left his thoughts as well.

Hearing this, Zane stated, "It looks like there is no other choice." before shining a rainbow light towards Emerald, the strongest warrior of the Plush World, who had power that was on par with Mega in his plush form. Zane then told the rabbit, "From this day forward, you are no longer bound by the live system of the Plush World. This means that you will now be able to fight to your fullest potential here in the Plush World just like you would in the outside world. However, please be careful. If your body is destroyed, you will die for real, and you will not return to Plush Heaven. You will be gone for good if you get destroyed." Emerald understood the risks before flying past the barrier that separated Plush Heaven from the rest of the Plush World. He flew down the Stairway of Spirits, Ugly Mug Kitchen, and then finally, to Plush Land, noticing the damage that Rainbow had done. "I need to defeat Rainbow as soon as possible!" Emerald told himself.

Meanwhile, Rainbow found King Vanilla and flew up to meet him. "Now that Mega has been dealt with, now I can finally deal with you, Vanilla." Rainbow told him, before attempting to deliver a punch to the king, but before he could, Emerald got in the way and blocked the punch. Seeing this, King Vanilla shouted "Is that... Emerald!" as he felt both happy and fearful. Emerald was radiating with a far stronger rainbow light than even King Vanilla was, as being free from the live system meant he was free to use his full power. Rainbow saw this light flaring up and told Emerald, "The power of your Light of Life disgusts me. As the God of Death, I must extinguish this light. Prepare to die, Emerald." Rainbow then attempted to fire one of his red lasers at Emerald, but he canceled it out with his Beauty Beam. Rainbow, assuming this was a fluke, told him, "Let's try that again." He tried to again, but Emerald canceled the next laser out in the same way, before Rainbow told him, "There's no way you're able to keep this up!" Rainbow then continued to fire lasers at Emerald, but every laser that Rainbow sent was canceled out with a Beauty Beam. Eventually, Rainbow got annoyed and stated, "Okay. I've had enough of this." Rainbow then slammed through the wall with Emerald, taking them outside of the house and into the sky above Frederick, but before Rainbow could push them further, Emerald pushed back.

As the two were fighting in the sky, a plane began to fly near them. Rainbow stated, "Oh, look! That's a lot of lives I can end!" before firing a laser at the plane, but before it could hit, the laser got slapped away. Emerald and Rainbow looked to see who it was. It was Nikki in her Lightspeed Girl outfit, and alongside her was Mega in his plush cat form. Mega then shouted at Rainbow, "You monster! You were about to kill all of the people on that plane!" "Who's the girl?" Emerald asked. Nikki told them, "I'm Nikki! Mega called upon me once he learned that I have the ability to fly and create light. Of course, I fight evil like this guy all the time, but this bear here seems to be tougher than anything I've ever faced!" "You mean, he's even stronger than you?!" Emerald asked, to which Nikki nodded, before adding, "But then again, you're stronger than I am as well." "It doesn't matter if there's three of you. Up until now, I haven't even been using much of my power." Rainbow told all three of them.

Rainbow then began emitting a red light as he began to charge for a huge attack with hands. Mega then told the other two, "It's time for us to combine our Lights of Life. Are you ready you two?" Both Emerald and Nikki nodded. "Okay, then, let's do this." Mega told them. Both Mega and Emerald flared up their rainbow light at maximum power, combining their power into a giant rainbow cannon of light. Rainbow then shouted "Death Cannon!" as he fired his powerful red cannon at them, but Emerald and Mega fired their cannon at the same time, and this was their Cannon of Light. The two blasts hit each other and pushed against each other, with neither getting through the other. Nikki then flew to where Emerald and Mega were and added her light to theirs, and with that small amount of extra power, their powers combined began to push through Rainbow's Death Cannon, until eventually, the Cannon of Light broke through and destroyed Rainbow's attack before hitting the bear at full force. After being hit by this attack, Rainbow fell, crashing down to the ground below where he would fall into a coma from the powerful light that hit him. Emerald then shouted with glee, "We win!" before Mega and Nikki smiled and cheered with the rabbit. For the time being, Earth was once again safe from Rainbow.

After Rainbow's defeat, Nikki told Emerald and Mega, "I have to leave now you two! I have more people to save!" "I'm sure you do. Thank you so much for helping us!" Mega replied, to which Nikki told him, "No problem! That's what I'm here for!" Nikki then told them, "Well, for now, bye!" before flying away. After she was gone, Mega told Emerald, "I didn't think about someone with special powers like the Creator becoming a vigilante." "I know, right?! That was so cool!" Emerald replied. Afterwards, Mega told Emerald, "I think it's time that we returned to Plush Land." Emerald agreed, and the two flew back into the house where the Plush World was located, entering through one of the holes that Rainbow created. Upon their return, the surviving plushies as well as Zane cheered for the two, as King Vanilla told them, "Great job on defeating Rainbow!" After they cheered, Zane told the plushies, "Now that Rainbow is gone, we will need to repair the physical damages that have been done to Plush Land. There are some things that we, however, cannot repair, and that is the many lives that have been lost here in Plush Land. There is something we can repair though, and that's the walls!" Afterwards, Zane, Mega, and the plushies would begin working on repairing the house, with Abby soon joining as well after Zane called her over. It didn't take long before the wall was patched up, and life in Plush Land returned to how it normally was, with the exception of Emerald having returned to Plush Land, due to no longer being bound by the live system, essentially giving him the same privileges as Mega.

Two days after Rainbow’s attack on Plush Land, Mega told Clyde his decision. “I’ve thought about it, and I’d love to give being with you a chance!” Mega texted Clyde, ending the message with a heart emote. “Alright!” Clyde replied back. Mega then told himself, “With Rainbow on the outside world, Clyde being out there, and with there not being many gods from Mersunai left, I think it’s time that I say goodbye to the Plush World, and live as Tiffany full time. Before I do so, however, I will show the Creator and the others my true form.” The next day, Mega gathered the plushies and Zane together in Plush City to make his announcement. He told them, "I have gathered you here to tell you something important. I regret to inform you that I will be leaving the Plush World and will be going to the outside world." "What?!" Emerald asked in shock, with Zane asking, "How come?" Afterwards, Mega began to rise up in the air as he began glowing with a bright green light, and after, Mega revealed his true form. He was a black cat that was larger than the average house cat, with green eyes and a fur of medium thickness. Mega's size made him around 40 pounds, without him being overweight. "...You're not a plush?" Zane asked in surprise, to which Mega answered, "That is correct. I am a cat, not a plush." Mega then whispered to Emerald and Vanilla, "Please come to the Temple of Mega with me real fast."

The two listened and climbed up there with him. "I have something that I need to tell only the two of you." Mega whispered to them, and they listened, as Mega told them, "The truth is, I am the God of Life, not only in Plush Land, but in the outside world too. As I mentioned before, me and the Creator, and also Abby, Nikki, and Rainbow, are all from a place beyond the sky. That place is a sister world to Earth called Mersunai by those of us from there, and is called Venus by those from Earth." After this, Mega also added, "Also, Mertle has prophecized that Rainbow will return one day and destroy not only Plush Land, but all of Earth, and only the Four Omegas, who are the Creator, Abby, Nikki, and someone else can stop him, and no one else on Earth will survive. As such, you two must leave to a place beyond the sky if you wish to survive." After talking at the Temple of Mega, the three went back down to the Plush City, where Vanilla told the plushies, "Me and Emerald will be leaving Plush Land as well. As such, I now declare Moony to be the new ruler of Plush Land, which will no longer be called King or Queen, but shall now be called Kitano, the Leader of the Plush Intelligence, in memory of the old royal family. Now, it is time for us to leave. Goodbye, everyone." Mega, Emerald, and Vanilla then began to head towards the front door as Emerald turned back to tell the other plushies, "Goodbye everyone! We'll always remember the times we've had together!" Afterwards, Mega opened the door, and the three walked outside of the house that contained the Plush World, never to return there. continuity note 3

When the three got outside, Mega transformed into his Tiffany form right in front of Emerald and Vanilla. “How many transformations do you have?!” Emerald exclaimed, before Mega told the two, “This is where we go our separate ways! Good luck to the both of you!” before flying away. “Did Mega just turn into a girl?” Vanilla asked Emerald, who replied “I don’t understand that, but I know that we have to get to the place beyond the sky!” before thinking and adding, “Wait, I have some of Mega’s power in me! I bet I can do that too!” The plush rabbit then surrounded himself in a bright green light and just as he predicted, he successfully transformed into a human. His appearance was a man with wild green hair and dark blue eyes, who wore white jacket, bright green pants, and green shoes. “Woah, Emerald! What in the world did you just do?! You’re huge!” Vanilla exclaimed, before attempting to do the same. Vanilla, however, had no luck. “I guess that’s an ability specific to Mega.” Vanilla stated in disappointment. Emerald then thought of an idea, as he yelled, “Let me try something!” He then shined a rainbow light on the plush siamese cat. “Try now!” Emerald told him. Vanilla did as he was told, and this time, he was able to surround himself in a green light. His human form, which was also a man, ended up with hair that was neater than Emerald’s, that had a light brown stripe going through the middle, and was cream colored on the sides. He also had blue eyes, and wore a cream colored jacket, light brown pants, and brown shoes. Seeing this, Vanilla gasped as he stated, “Emerald... You’ve become just like Mega!” The appearance of both of their human forms looked like they were in their mid-twenties, as while in plush years, Vanilla was 32 and Emerald was 31, plushies didn’t age like humans did. This resulted in both of their human forms being youthful when they finally did transform into that form. Minutes later, Mega would arrive in Los Angeles as Tiffany to see Clyde. “Hey, you’re back!” Clyde told her. The two would then get closer until eventually, they would live together. As for Emerald and Vanilla, those two would wander the Earth.

When Moony, a plush cat that had dark blue and light blue fur in a tuxedo pattern, with blue eyes and a crescent moon symbol on her chest, became the Kitano, the Plush World remained peaceful for two months, or around eight plush months. This remained the case until one day in March 2014. When Zane went out to go to school, someone slipped in through the front door. From Mt. Treadmill, Mertle told himself, “I have a terrible feeling.” His terrible feeling was correct, as it could be seen by looking towards the ceiling of Plush Land that Rainbow had returned, and there was something different about him this time around. “I cannot sense the Creator or Mega around this time, and I can’t sense that annoying rabbit either. Oh well, I can still have some fun, at the very least!” Rainbow told himself. He then began firing red lasers at random, with many plushies falling. Very soon, only a small number of plushies remained, and among those plushies were Mertle, Smasher, Silver, and Moony herself, with all others that survived being somewhere in the Plush World that wasn’t Plush Land itself. Among the plushies who had fallen, Easter, Bunny, Bunnette, Fabulous, Glora, and Marine were included. Moony saw how Plush Land had become more barren and covered in dust, so she flew up to Rainbow in anger. “Rainbow, how dare you return?!” she screamed, to which Rainbow replied, “You have a lot of nerve to think you can stand up to me now that my full power has awakened!” “Full power?!” Moony gasped, before a red light began to appear at Rainbow’s hand. Just before Rainbow was about to do the finishing blow, Rainbow noticed Zane’s presence getting closer. “If I stay here, the Mersunais will find me!” he told himself before powering down his light. He then went to the door of the Plush World and opened it, heading back outside.

When Rainbow walked outside, he surrounded himself in a red aura. At that moment, he transformed, growing rapidly. He went from his small plush form back into his tall bear form, his true form. Rainbow then declared to an audience of nobody, “Now that I am back at full strength, I want supreme power over the universe, and to see the Earthlings and the gods DIE!” Rainbow then flew away to the sky, as he was no longer satisfied with destroying plushies. His new goal was to wipe out all life in the universe, including the few remaining gods and all of mankind. From somewhere else in Frederick, Jin felt Rainbow’s intense power from far away, as he stated, “So, he’s returned. There’s no time left, we need the help of the Four Omegas and Mega now!”

That evening, Zane returned home and saw the destruction in his house. “What happened here?” he asked, to which Moony told him in a panic, “Rainbow returned! He wiped out most of Plush Land!” Hearing this, Zane shook his head and stated, “This is terrible.” He then went up to Creation Summit in Plush Heaven, where he told himself, “I’d hate to see Plush Land be a barren wasteland.” before pulling out a bag of toys. “So, I will bring new life to Plush Land! I won’t be able to replace those who were lost, but I hope that I can make the survivors less lonely!” Zane told himself, before shining a light on the plushies and action figures in the bag. He then sent all of them down to Plush Land, which would become populated once again. Little did he know, however, this would be the last time he was able to do this.

The next morning, Zane woke up and went to school as usual. There, everything seemed normal at first, with the only exception being that Nikki was absent. After school, however, something would happen. The curly haired boy who had been watching Zane and Abby for nearly two years had finally approached them, and he simply told the two, “Come with me.” “Okay?” Zane replied. The boy then led the two to an area away from the school, until eventually, he told them, “This is far enough.” “Who are you?” Zane asked the boy. At that moment, three strange men began to leap at the boy, shouting, “It’s the weird boy! I bet if we rob him, he’ll have all kinds of money!” The boy then created balls of fire with his hands and tossed them at the three, which caused them to burn to a crisp. “Woah...!” Zane gasped, as Abby remarked, “He’s like me, but more powerful!” The boy then surrounded himself in an orange light before transforming into his true form, a certain man with a mustache. The boy who had been watching them was actually the God of Fire in disguise. Jin then told them the truth that they had never known.

“I am Jin, the God of Fire. I’ve come here to tell you the truth of who you two are. Zane, you are the God of the Sky, and Abby, you are the Goddess of the Underworld. We, the gods have been looking for you. Only the two of you and three others we have yet to find stand even a slim chance against Rainbow.” the god told them. “Rainbow is that powerful?!” Zane exclaimed, with Abby adding, “Just who is he anyways?” Jin explained to them, “Rainbow is the God of Death. I take it that you two have already encountered him in the past, but in case you haven’t, he is a light rainbow colored bear that walks on two legs. He is strong enough to bring even me down, and if he found out about my powers, he could even kill me!” After he spoke, the hearts of the two glowed with a rainbow light, and while the two were not present, Nikki and Clyde’s hearts also glowed. Jin then told Zane and Abby, “With that, your sealed powers should be unlocked! Now, release your powers! Mine is being able to control fire!” Zane then produced a turquoise aura in his hands as he created a ball of wind, and afterwards, he fired it into the sky. Jin explained, “That was a Wind Ball. It is a rapidly moving and freezing ball of wind that cannot warm up. Those it hits would feel the pain of being shredded by winds that are as cold as Uranus!” After he spoke, a red-orange light appeared in Abby’s hands before she released a ball of fire into the sky that was far larger than any Jin had produced. “Abby, you appear to have the same abilities as me, but stronger. Your fire burns with a heat similar to Earth’s core. I guess that’s why you’re the Goddess of the Underworld!” Jin told her, before ending his explanation by telling them, “Your abilities are fueled by the power of your soul, in other words, your aura!”

After the two tried out two of their new abilities, Jin told them, “Now, we must go to the planet of the gods, Mersunai! We’ll talk more there!” Jin then flew into the sky, and this time, Zane and Abby were able to fly as well, as their power to do so had also been unlocked. The three of them flew into space towards the planet that Zane and Abby knew as Venus, and that Jin knew as Mersunai. As the three were flying, Rainbow landed somewhere in rural Virginia. “Now, let’s begin.” Rainbow told himself before finding any people and homes he could, attacking them indiscriminately. Before long, the police were called, and the entire force went to stop Rainbow. One of them then told the others, “It’s a mutant bear! Kill it!” The police then began firing bullets at Rainbow, which bounced right off of him without him feeling a thing. Regardless, this angered him, as he floated in the air and shouted, “You dare attack me?! Prepare to die, insects!” Rainbow then fired millions of lasers in the air, and within minutes, he turned every human and living thing in Virginia to dust, turning the entire state into a barren wasteland, while sparing any of the bordering states.

After Zane left for Mersunai, and while Rainbow was attacking Virginia, something also happened in Plush Land. Moony was fighting a large green dragon action figure named Ugly Dragon, when the dragon bit and stomped on her at full force, but Moony didn’t lose a life. The crescent moon on Moony’s chest then began to glow light blue before she fired a light blue laser at Ugly Dragon, which knocked him out, but also didn’t cause him to lose a life. “Something feels weird. We’re attacking each other with all we have, and yet, we’re not losing lives?” Just when things seemed like they couldn’t get stranger, a caramel colored plush cat with golden eyes entered Plush Land. “No way, that’s impossible!” Moony exclaimed, before a gray and white plush wolf with beautiful blue eyes also entered and told her, “You say it’s impossible, but yet we’re here.” “So, it really is you, Wolf and Chocolate!” Moony gasped, as the caramel cat Chocolate told her, “We noticed that the barriers of both Plush Heaven and the Plush Underworld were gone, so Wolf stuck his head out, and indeed, we’re able to travel freely now.” with Wolf adding, “It’s almost like the entire live system of Plush Land has broken down!” Soon, more toys that were from Plush Heaven entered, including Delicious, King Lion, Queen Ann, Feltsy, Mat, Jeremy, and Maddie. Mertle saw this and approached them. “Mertle! I haven’t seen you in a long time!” Delicious cheered with joy. Mertle then told them, “Gather every plush you can to the Plush City immediately. We have a crisis.”

Before long, Mertle had gathered every plush from Plush Land and Plush Heaven, and even some from the Plush Underworld into the Plush City. Mertle then announced, “What you think is going on is exactly what is occurring. The live system no longer functions, and there is no longer new life coming to Plush Land.” “Why is that?” Moony asked him. “Well, that is because the Creator has left this world.” Mertle explained. “YOU MEAN THAT THE CREATOR’S DEAD?!” Smasher, a buff action figure with dark black hair that wore a military outfit, asked in panic, to which Mertle replied, “Death? That’s unlikely. What I think is more likely is that the Creator has gone to the place beyond the sky, to a world called Mersunai.” “I don’t understand.” Chocolate told him, to which he replied, “It’s actually quite simple. The Creator was never from this world to begin with, and neither was Mega, Abby, or Nikki. They were all from Mersunai, or as humans call it, Venus. The three of them are gods of not just the Plush World, but of the entire universe. The three of them left because our world is in grave danger. As such, for the time being, we must take care of ourselves, as we have no Creator or Mega to watch over us anymore.” With Zane, Mega, Emerald, and Vanilla gone, protecting Plush Land was left to Moony the Kitano, as well as Mertle, Smasher, Delicious, Wolf, Chocolate, Silver, and any other plush that could be helpful to their survival.

Minutes later, Jin, Zane, and Abby were flying towards the yellow planet before they flew into the planet’s intense atmosphere, one that had destroyed many of Earth’s spacecrafts. The two eventually landed on a mountain that was on the planet’s barren surface, unaffected by the heat and pressure, or the lack of air to breathe, as gods didn’t have to worry about those kinds of problems. When they landed, Jin announced to the other two, “Here we are!” Jin then led the two down the mountain, where Ceip, Dirmon, Georgia, and Leila were waiting for them. “These are the other gods besides us, Rainbow, and the three that are still on Earth!” Jin explained. He then gestured his hands towards Georgia and Leila as he told the two newcomers, “The green one is Georgia, the Goddess of Forests, and the blue one is Leila, the Goddess of Water!” Next, he gestured towards Ceip and Dirmon, and continued, “The bearded one is Dirmon, the God of Earth, and the pale one is Ceip, the God of Ice!” Afterwards, he faced towards Zane and Abby, telling them, “The five of us are the gods of this planet, and, aside from the two of you and the four on Earth, we’re the only gods left that we know of.” “Good job on finding two of the Four Omegas!” Ceip told Jin. Jin then told Zane and Abby, “We will have you two train here for four years, as you are still inexperienced!” Jin would begin training the two for a while to come so the two could master their abilities. When the three got started, Dirmon and Georgia began searching Earth again for Nikki, Clyde, and Mega, with Leila and Ceip staying behind on Mersunai. As they were doing so, the next place Rainbow headed to was Canada, as he hovered over Ontario. “I’ll make sure to savor this one!” he told himself before flying down. Instead of wiping out the entire population of the country at once like he did with Virginia, he decided to do it one person at a time. This would result in a more steady population decline for Canada, while also buying the gods of Mersunai more time.

The next day, Nikki went back to school and saw that Abby and Zane were gone. “Maybe the two of them are out sick!” she told herself, but after a day passed, they weren’t there again, and nor did they return the day after that. “Okay, now I’m starting to get worried.” Nikki told herself after seeing that the two were once again absent from Mr. Ryan’s class. After a week passed, she knew something was wrong as she decided, “I’m gonna look for those two!” Nikki then began flying to find Zane and Abby at much higher speeds than she previously was able to go. Before long, Nikki would leave Frederick, and would not return there for years. In May of the same year, Nikki began searching Los Angeles by foot when she found Clyde and Mega walking on the street. She walked towards the two and told them, “Hi!” “Hey!” Clyde replied, with Mega asking, “Nikki, is that you?” Hearing this, Clyde asked his girlfriend, “Tiffany, do you know her?” Nikki told them, “My name must have really made it far! Have any of you seen a boy with brown hair and green eyes that can bring life to plushies, or a red haired girl that can create flames?” Mega then turned to Clyde and told him, “I need to talk to this girl in private.” “Okay!” Clyde replied.

Afterwards, Mega took Nikki away from Clyde, where she told her, “I haven’t seen Abby or the Creator since I left the Plush World.” “Left the Plush World?! Are you a plush?” Nikki asked in confusion. “Not quite. I’m Mega, the God of Life. ...Though, I guess in this form, I would be a Goddess of Life! I’m the plush cat that you fought alongside to defeat Rainbow! In this form, I’m Mega Tiffany, a content creator who makes gaming videos! Clyde is my boyfriend!” Mega explained. “I’m glad to see you again, Mega! I’ve been searching for Zane and Abby for two months now, but I can’t find them anywhere!” Nikki told her. “I’m having Clyde take you in. You can’t be wandering like this, you’re missing school!” Mega told her. She then took her to Clyde and told him, “She’s an old friend of mine, but she needs a place to stay!” “Then she can stay with us!” Clyde replied. The three then began living together, as Mega thought to herself, “I can’t have one of the Four Omegas wandering by herself. What if Rainbow finds her?”

Chapter 5: Moony & the False Creator

It was now June 2014, three months since Zane left to Mersunai. For a plush year, Plush Land had survived on its own, and even the toys that used to be the most hostile were living peacefully, as they realized how important it was to stick together. This changed when one day, the adoptive parents of Zane walked into the house, bringing along a boy around Zane’s age that had curly brown hair, hazel eyes, and wore a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, along with black and blue sneakers. The mother then told the boy, “Alright, Charlie! You are to go by the name Zane from now on when you’re outside of this house, and by the Creator when you’re inside of this house! Now, go in there and remove those cursed toys from this house so we can sell it!” Afterwards, she left him in the house as she got in the car before zooming away. Afterwards, Charlie announced to the plushies, “Alright, listen up! I’m back, and things are gonna be different this time around! I’m gonna rid you all to shreds!” This caused the plushies to enter an uproar, as Swooper asked, “He’s gonna decreate us?!” “He wouldn’t! There’s no way!” Chocolate told him. Smasher then got in the way as he told the others, “LEAVE HIM TO ME! THIS ISN’T THE CREATOR!” The action figure in his military garb then lunged at Charlie, who proceeded to grab Smasher by the arms. He then shouted, “Decreate!” before ripping Smasher’s arms off, and then his legs, before finally dropping him to the ground and crushing his body with his feet. “He can just do that without feeling pain?!” Gale asked in horror. Mertle then walked towards the Plush Palace to see Moony and told her, “We need to head to Mt. Treadmill so you can train.” The two then headed to Mt. Treadmill, as Delicious charged at Charlie. Delicious repeatedly fired Beauty Beams at him, which Charlie backed up to avoid. Eventually, Delicious drove the fake Creator to Ugly Mug Kitchen, before he told him, “You fell for it! Moony, the rest is up to you!” Delicious then unleashed a powerful rainbow aura which created a barrier between Ugly Mug Kitchen and Plush Land, as well as between Ugly Mug and the outside world, and Ugly Mug and the Stairway of Spirits. In other words, Charlie was trapped in Ugly Mug Kitchen with no way out. Afterwards, the body of Delicious turned to ash due to how much power he used. Both his and Smasher’s souls went to Mersunai.

Due to Charlie being sealed in Ugly Mug Kitchen, he had to use a different tactic. Whenever a plush entered the kitchen, he would release a red aura that would control the minds of any weak willed plush. Soon, he gained a considerable following of plushies. After a week, or a plush month passed, Moony’s training would be interrupted by one such plush. It was a gray and white plush dog with orange eyes. “Hello, Inferno. Are you here to train with us?” Mertle asked the dog, to which he replied, “I am here to defeat the Kitano!” A flaming aura began to appear around Inferno before he shouted, “Summer Inferno!” Mertle then shouted, “Run!” to Moony as he began charging his own aura. Moony listened and she fled from Mt. Treadmill. Inferno then released flaming aura, but not before Mertle’s attack finished charging, and he shouted, “Meteor Shower!” hitting Inferno with a rain of orange aura. Eventually, it knocked out Inferno, but Mertle couldn’t stop, so he kept going until he got tired as well.

When Moony left, she was confronted by Teddy the plush bear, who jumped at her. “Oh, so you’ve lost it too?” she asked before firing her crescent moon laser at the bear, knocking him out. Moony then attempted to approach the Plush City when a purple plush pig wearing red overalls stopped her. “I am Lady Pig, and I will defeat you!” she told her, to which Moony replied, “What’s your problem?!” Lady Pig then charged at Moony. Moony tried to fire her laser at the pig, but Lady Pig surrounded herself in a dark violet aura which blocked the attack. She then shouted, “Shadow Spark!” as her hand started releasing purple electricity. To this, Moony created light blue electricity in her hands and shouted, “Moon Spark!” before firing electricity at Lady Pig’s attack. Moony’s attack canceled out Lady Pig’s attack, and knocked her to the ground. “What was I doing?” Lady Pig asked Moony, who exclaimed, “Of course! They’re following the fake against their will!” “You mean someone took control of me?!” Lady Pig asked with anger in her voice, before adding, “I’m joining you to knock the so called ‘Creator’ out!” “The more, the merrier!” Moony replied.

When the two reached the Plush City, a plush was inside of the Plush Palace that didn’t belong there. The two entered the palace and found a plush kangaroo with black eyes. She told the two, “I’m the new Kitano now!” to which Moony replied, “No you’re not, Kanga! Get out!” “You’ll regret saying that!” the kangaroo replied before green and pink aura appeared in her hands. She then created an attack in the shape of a pink flower as she shouted, “Spring Bloom!” Moony tried to counter this with a Moon Spark, but this failed, and the attack hit Lady Pig. Moony’s crescent moon began glowing more powerfully than normally before Moony shouted, “Moon Flare!” and fired a ball of light blue aura at Kanga, knocking her out. After defeating her, Moony remarked, “You don’t have what it takes to be Kitano!” Later, Lady Pig got up and asked her, “Moony, what’s your most powerful attack? I feel like you’re a lot stronger than you let on.” “That’s a secret!” Moony replied. Soon, a toy monster truck rushed after them, when Lady Pig shouted, “Shadow Bolt!” This attack caused the monster truck to explode. After this, Moony told her, “You’re strong too, but maybe you’re a bit too violent.”

The two then went back to Mt. Treadmill, where Inferno was about to finish off Mertle while he was sleeping. “Stop it, you bad dog!” Moony told him. “Oh, you’re back!” Inferno replied, before the dog used his paws to create an orange ball of aura. He shouted “Summer Sun!” as he sent the attack hurdling towards them. Lady Pig then created a dark aura in the shape of a cloud and shouted, “Shadow Cloud!” The purple cloud and the orange sphere then hit each other at full force, canceling each other out. After this, Moony surrounded herself in a light blue aura before shouting, “Moon Crash!” and flying at Inferno with full force. This attack sent the plush dog flying through the wall, to the outside world. “And you said I’m too violent!” Lady Pig remarked with a gasp. Afterwards, Mertle woke up. “Huh? You’re back already?” he asked, unaware of the battle that just unfolded. “Mertle, the plushies that are attacking us are brainwashed!” Moony told him, to which he replied, “It must be the work of that false Creator, then. Moony, I think you’re the only one strong enough to defeat him. You must go to Ugly Mug!” “I will!” Moony told him. Her and Lady Pig then proceeded to leave Mt. Treadmill.

After the two walked past the Plush City again, a tiny brown koala plush with brown eyes ambushed them. “You no get past!” he told them. Moony then fired her crescent moon laser at the koala and knocked it to the ground. “Wow, he must be weak.” Lady Pig remarked. Afterwards, the koala got back up and told them, “I’m Baby Koala!” “And we’re heading to Ugly Mug Kitchen.” Moony told him. “Can I go?” the koala asked, to which Lady Pig told him, “You really shouldn’t.” “I’m going anyways!” Baby Koala told them. The koala then followed them as they neared the Valley of Mega. Later, as the two walked through the Valley of Mega, something jumped down and hit Moony on the head. “Ow, that hurt! If there was still a live system, I could’ve died from that, you know!” Moony shouted. The three looked at their attacker, and it was Pumpkin the plush jack-o-lantern. “Wanna see another jumping trick?” he asked them, to which Baby Koala fired a pink lightning bolt at him, knocking the pumpkin out. “That’s my Cute Bolt!” Baby Koala told the other two. “Maybe he is worth having around after all.” Lady Pig told Moony.

Later, the three walked through Dinosaur Valley when something leaped down at them with a roar. It was a large white polar bear plush with a Santa hat. “Hey, this is June! It’s not even the right season for you!” Moony told the bear, but the bear kept attacking, knocking out Lady Pig and Baby Koala. Afterwards, Moony shouted, “Alright, you asked for it!” before producing a light blue aura around her entire body, finally using her full power. “Moon Explosion!” she shouted, before creating an explosion that hit the bear, reducing their attacker to ash. Afterwards, Moony told herself, “I really don’t like doing that...” She then waited for the other two to recover before heading to Ugly Mug Kitchen.

The two entered Ugly Mug Kitchen, and the three walked peacefully in there until they walked near the table where the Top Predator used to rest at. Then, a gray blur suddenly leaped down at them, knocking Lady Pig out. The one who attacked them was Wolf, and he appeared to have lost all reasoning. He then fired icy blue needles at Moony, who stated, “This isn’t good!” before Baby Koala created a blaze of pink aura and shouted, “Cute Inferno!” This attack hit Wolf directly, but didn’t knock him out. Regardless, after it hit him, he quickly shook his body. “Woah, that was one weird dream! I thought I was just fighting you while being controlled by something!” he told them, to which Moony stated, “That’s because you were.” Afterwards, Lady Pig got up as Wolf asked them, “What brings you two here?” “We’re here to fight that fake Creator!” Moony told him. “That’s right, that’s why I was here! I must’ve fought him and lost!” Wolf told the other two as the realization hit him, before Wolf decided, “I’m going with you three! He must be defeated!”

The four then reached the open area of Ugly Mug Kitchen, where Charlie was sitting. “You four dare to resist me?!” the boy shouted, to which Moony told him, “Of course I do! You don’t belong here, and you need to leave the Plush World for good!” Charlie then held up a plush, and it was King Lion. “See King Lion?” Charlie asked the two as his eyes began glowing red. King Lion then shouted, “Don’t worry about me! Just fight him, and save Plush Land!” After saying this, the false Creator fired red lasers out of his eyes that turned King Lion to dust, before he shouted to the other four, “Now prepare to die!” Moony then fired a Moon Explosion at him, which had no effect. Charlie then began to move his hands down to grab Baby Koala, when Lady Pig got in the way. “Oh, you think you can stop me?” Charlie asked. Lady Pig’s dark violet aura then flared up intensely before she shouted, “Shadow-fice!” Afterwards, her aura became like a large dark sphere before she fired a cannon of darkness at Charlie, which blew Moony, Baby Koala, and Wolf backwards. After the three could see what had happened, Lady Pig had turned to dust, and the entire back wall of Ugly Mug was destroyed, with the three being able to see into the outside world. Despite this, Charlie was still standing.

Moony’s emotions then ran wild, before she cried, “Lady Pig!” with a scream. She then released a rainbow aura that temporarily blinded Charlie, as Wolf exclaimed, “She’s done it! Moony’s unlocked the Light of Life!” After Charlie could see again, Moony was floating in the air, looking at him face-to-face. “Wait, what are you?!” Charlie asked in fear, to which Moony told him, “I am Moony the Kitano of Plush Land, and for harming those that live here, I’ll make you pay!” Afterwards, she began releasing an intense amount of light blue electricity. She then shouted, “Blue Bolt!” before firing a large cannon of electricity at Charlie, which zapped him with such intensity that it sent him flying towards the yard and knocked him out. “And don’t come back!” Wolf shouted to Charlie, who couldn’t hear him. Afterwards, Moony returned to the ground. “Let’s return to Plush Land.” she told Baby Koala and Wolf. The two then left to return to their home, now that Ugly Mug Kitchen was in shambles.

Later that night, Zane’s adoptive father saw Charlie laying in the grass, so he woke him up with a slap. “What was that for?!” Charlie asked, as Zane’s father asked him while he pointed to the house, “Did you do that?!” “No, that was the plushies! They’re the ones who did that!” Charlie tried to explain, before the father shouted back, “NO EXCUSES! Thanks to you, this house has no resale value! Do you hear me?! We won’t make a cent off of this place, and it’s all your fault! I’m ashamed to have picked you up off the streets! Go back to West Virginia where you came from, you useless hooligan!” He would then grab Charlie by the arm as he complained, “But I’m telling the truth!” He would then drive Charlie to the streets of Martinsburg, West Virginia. When he got there, he threw him out of the car before driving off. After this, Zane’s adoptive parents would no longer come near the Plush World.

A few days later, the school year was about to end as Mr. Ryan was teaching the class, with Zane, Abby, and Nikki no longer being present. He continued teaching until he saw a salmon pink aura appear at the front of the classroom. Mr. Ryan then screamed, “No, he found me!” with a girl in the class shouting, “Who?!” Mr. Ryan could see the figure of a tall muscular pale skinned man with pink eyes, and pink hair, which formed twelve spikes around his face. The man wore a bright pink t-shirt, and at the center of that shirt was the design of a crystal that was pointed at the top and the bottom, and in the center of that crystal was a purple letter “Z”. The man also wore dark purple jeans and purple shoes. “Noipazez! Oh no!” Mr. Ryan screamed. When the aura faded, it could be seen that the man had a serious expression. Mr. Ryan then formed a violet aura in his hands before shouting, “Universal Beam!” He then fired three large purple lasers at the man, but the man held out his hand and cancelled out the history teacher’s attack. Afterwards, the man shouted, “Paradox!” before firing a salmon pink blast at Mr. Ryan, which hit with incredible power, but yet, the only thing in the room that it harmed was Mr. Ryan himself. Afterwards, Mr. Ryan collapsed to the ground and stopped breathing. The man then stated, “That is what happens to those who break the laws of time. Remember, it’s illegal. I’m nothing more than a cop of time.” Mr. Ryan’s soul would go to Mersunai, where he would be judged by Ciep.

Some time passed, and it was now late August 2014, or about nine plush months since Moony defeated Charlie. The plushies had repaired the wall in Ugly Mug Kitchen, and once again lived in peace. That was the case until, one day, Charlie entered the house again through the front door, and this time, he had a large metal box, which he placed on the ground. Moony immediately went to confront him. “How dare you come back here?!” Moony asked furiously, to which Charlie replied, “To make you pay for what I had to go through! I got kicked out to the street! I had to go find a new house because of you, and I was only able to afford it because I robbed a bank!” “That sounds like a you problem!” Moony told him. She then flew after him, but he slapped her and sent her into the metal box, which she couldn’t escape. He then announced, “I’m gonna scoop up every plush of the house and take them with me!” He then did just about that, grabbing any toy he could find that would fit in his inescapable box, and he did this until he assumed he grabbed them all. “Now, I’m taking all of you to Martinsburg!” he told them, before he walked out with them, slamming the door. After he left, only a few remained. Mertle, Chocolate, Silver, and Queen Ann stayed due to hiding in time, while King Bones and Jumpy were left behind because they were too big. “Suddenly, things are a lot more quiet now.” King Bones told himself. Afterwards, Mertle headed to the window before telling the others, “I’m going to go find wherever the others went. Stay safe!” He then opened the window and jumped out, leaving Plush Land for the outside world. “Well, this blows.” Silver told the others. The Plush World now had a population of only five.

Later, Mertle was inching along on the street when Susie, who was with Maggie, saw him. “Aw, look at that cute turtle!” Susie cheered, with Maggie taking a closer look, and telling her wife, “Hey, I think this might be a stuffed animal.” “What? A moving stuffed animal? That’s impossible, isn’t it?” Susie asked, to which Maggie replied, “And yet, we have a daughter that can fly, shoot out light, and uses that to fight crime!” “Are you two the parents of Nikki?” Mertle asked the two. “The turtle... just talked.” Susie stated in disbelief, as Maggie told the plush, “Yep, that’s us! We haven’t seen our daughter in a while though.” Mertle then requested, “I hate to ask, but can you pick me up? It’s hard to move down here.” “Sure thing!” Maggie told him before picking the old turtle up. Mertle then told the two, “I have a feeling that your daughter might be in Los Angeles. If my hunch is correct, she is likely living with a man named Clyde and a woman named Tiffany.” “Normally, I’d say that sounds outlandish, but considering it’s coming from a talking turtle, I think it might be worth trying.” Susie told Maggie, who replied, “What tells you that?” “I can see wisdom in his eyes.” Susie told her. “Well, I guess this lead is as good as any. Let’s go to LA!” Maggie replied. The two then got into a car with Mertle and began their cross-country road trip.

Later that day, Charlie parked near a house in Martinsburg, West Virginia and took the box that contained the plushies in with them. He then entered the house through the back door, which led to the kitchen, before entering the room at the center of the house, which would normally be a dining room. He then opened a door in that room, which led to a basement, before opening his box and tossing the plushies in. “Welcome to the Evile Dimension. This is where you will live for the rest of your lives!” Charlie told them, as Moony shouted back, “Get us out of here!” as she flew up. Before she could, the false Creator created a red barrier around the door and walked to the other side, before Moony slammed into the barrier, unable to reach Charlie. He then slammed the door to the basement, knowing that the plushies now had no way to escape. “What do we do now?!” Jumper exclaimed, with Wolf telling him, “I don’t know. Maybe we should let Moony decide. She is the Kitano, after all.” Moony then thought to herself before coming to the decision, “We’re going to have to get help from the outside.” “What?!” a lot of plushies exclaimed, before Moony told them, “One of my powers is being able to communicate with the outside. If I could just contact someone, they could help us, and I could make them the new Kitano so this never happens again!” For the next few days, Moony would try to contact humans outside through telepathy, but most ignored her, assuming it was a hallucination.

Chapter 6: Tales of the Great Kitano & Tumser Dogum

August became September, and it was during the first day of that month that Moony made the decision, “Calling upon humans isn’t going to work. I think we’re going to have to call upon a stray cat, and make that cat become the new Kitano.” Charlie overheard their conversation and got enraged, as he told himself, “What?! A stray cat named Kitano?! Lunacy, that’s what that is! That cat shall fall before it gets its name... I’ll get Big A’s dog that he needs to give away to stop him, no matter how hyper he is...” Afterwards, Charlie went out and drove off to Frederick, where he stopped at the house of a friend of his. When he came back out, he was with a nine month old black lab puppy that had brown eyes. “Take good care of Tank!” someone told him from inside, to which Charlie lied, “I will!” before driving off. The dog panted nervously, as Charlie asked, “So, you’re Tank? How about a nickname? Tank the Tumser Dogum, maybe? You may as well have a cool name to take on a Kitano!” Tank was unable to talk back, as he didn’t know how to speak his language. He understood that something wasn’t right, however, so he let out a whine.

About a week later, a three month old stray kitten with grayish brown and white fur and yellow eyes was dreaming, and he was surrounded by the captured plushies, including Moony. She told the kitten, “Hello, we are the plushies of Plush Land. Our creator has disappeared into the sky just as Mertle predicted, and a fake one arrived in his place. He sealed us, most of the last living plushies, inside of his basement, which he calls the ‘Evile Dimension’. He knows we are trying to seek out someone to save us, so everyone is too scared to help us. Stray cat, I give you the title of Kitano, the Leader of the Plush Intelligence, or ruler of the plushies! Please save us, great Kitano!” Afterwards, the dream faded to darkness, as the stray cat heard someone say, “But are you who you think you are?” Afterwards, the kitten saw a vision of a light blue crystal that was pointed at the top and bottom, but it was bleeding. Afterwards, the kitten woke up and let out a loud meow that translated to, “What was that, a bleeding crystal?!”

Afterwards, the stray kitten walked towards the house where Charlie was located, where Zane’s adoptive father was walking Tank. The house was white on the outside and had a blue front porch. Tank saw the kitten and didn’t recognize him, so he barked at him, to which the stray kitten hissed. Tank then broke free of his leash and went after the cat, before the kitten produced orange aura and fired a small ball of fire at the dog. Tank then produced a fireball of his own, as the man that was walking him cheered him on, not even questioning the fact that two animals were literally attacking each other by producing fire. They continued attacking each other with fire until they couldn’t produce it anymore, after which, they attacked each other with their teeth and claws. Tank then barked in dog language, “Here’s my chance!” as he used some of his body’s energy to restore power his aura, before the Kitano replied, in plain English, “Not so fast!” before doing the same. Charlie, who was watching this from inside, exclaimed, “What?! That cat just spoke English!” The two unusual animals began attacking each other with fire again before one of the stray kitten’s fireball hit the dog’s tail, which caused Tank to pout and give up. Afterwards, Tank ran away, as the so-called father of Zane gave chase to the dog. Afterwards, Charlie opened the door and told the kitten, “There you are, Kitano. I’m going to take you in.” He then took the Kitano inside before closing the door. He then told him, “Your name will be Merlin, because you use magic like some kind of wizard!”

During the time when the Kitano was inside of Charlie’s house, Mertle, Susie, and Maggie had just arrived in Los Angeles. The two followed Mertle’s intuition, until Mertle told them as they were in front of a specific house, “This is the one.” Susie knocked on the door that Mertle told her to, before Clyde opened the door. “Do you happen to have a girl named Nikki with you, with bright blonde hair, blue eyes, and the ability to fly?” Susie asked. “Yeah, she’s here!” Clyde replied. Maggie then explained, “We’re her parents. She just disappeared one day, and we haven’t seen her in six months!” “Oh yeah, that. She was looking for a boy named Zane and a girl named Abby. She hasn’t had any luck yet! She’s in high school now, though!” Clyde told them. He then let the three in.

When the four went inside, Nikki and Mega were there to greet them. Immediately, Nikki ran towards her mothers as she cried, “Ma! Sue! I’ve missed you so much!” “Hello, young one!” Mertle told Nikki. Mega heard this and ran over, as she asked in shock, “Mertle?! Is that you?!” “Ah, Tiffany, I haven’t seen you since January! I hope you’re doing well.” Mertle replied. “This turtle here led us to you!” Maggie explained to Nikki. “It was all guesswork, really!” Mertle told them. “Do you think Nikki will ever see Abby and Zane again?” Mega asked her old friend. “Hmm... I’d say that she will meet them again in 2020. It will happen when that virus attacks. ...Wait, was it a virus? ...No, it was definitely a bear.” Mertle replied. “How do you confuse a bear with a virus?!” Susie asked in disbelief. “So, why did you come here? I know you wouldn’t come here without a reason.” Mega asked, to which Mertle replied, “I want Nikki to teach me how to fly.” “I mean, I could just...” Mega began to reply before shining a rainbow light on Mertle, and immediately, the turtle was able to fly. “Oops, yeah, I forgot you could do that! My bad!” Mertle stated. This left Clyde confused, but he accepted it regardless, as he was still unaware of why Mega was able to do that.

It was one week since Charlie took Merlin in, when suddenly, a pink living dog toy attacked. To fight back, Merlin coughed up a hairball onto the toy, which then squeaked, which annoyed him further. He then continued to cough up hairballs onto it until the heat from them caused the dog toy to pop. Although it made Merlin look like a sickly cat when he was in combat, it was actually aura that allowed him to continuously create these hairballs at an abnormal rate. After this, Merlin ran from the living room into the kitchen, where he hid underneath the table, as he whispered to himself, “Maybe I’ll be left alone down here...” Merlin’s wish did not come true, however, as Charlie immediately ducked under the table and asked, “Why is it so dark down here?! Anyways, welcome to the free transport service! Where would you like to go?” Merlin didn’t respond, hoping that he would get the hint, but Charlie told him, “Did you say chair? Okay!” He then picked Merlin up and put him on a chair, before telling him, “Thank you for using the free transport service! Have a good day!” He then ran from the kitchen into the middle room, where Tank was with a green dog toy shaped like a pig that had colorful spots. “Tumser Dogum?! I told you to destroy that cat! Send your best dog toy at him!” Tank then let the dog toy go as he pouted. Charlie proceeded to surround the dog toy in a red aura, bringing it to life. He then sent the dog toy towards the kitchen.

The dog toy approached Merlin, as the kitten asked, “Another one of these?” Merlin then sent fire towards the dog toy, which managed to attack back with ice, though the dog toy’s attacks were too weak to harm Merlin. The dog toy then did a really loud squeak, which hurt Merlin’s ears slightly. After this, Merlin sent another fireball at the toy, popping it in the same way he popped the first. Afterwards, Merlin ran to the living room, where he saw Tank again, who told him in dog language, “I’ll get you this time, cat!” The two then began fighting each other, with Merlin coughing up bigger hairballs than before towards Tank, while Tank barked so loudly that it hurt Merlin’s ears, as Tank’s barks were made more powerful through his aura. This continued until the two got tired again, as Tank remarked, “It’s come to this again, huh?” Merlin replied, “Yep, and you know what I’m going to do!” The two then once again used their body’s energy to fuel their aura, but quickly ran out of energy again. “No more aura, huh? It looks like we’re going to be fighting tooth and claw now.” Merlin told Tank. Merlin then scratched Tank, and before Tank could bite back, Charlie fired lasers out of his eyes towards Tank, causing the dog to yelp and run away. After Tank ran away, Charlie entered the room and told Merlin, “Kitano, did you really think you could get away from me? This time, the free transport service is taking you to the rec room!” He then took Merlin to a small room next to the kitchen with a hard blue floor, a washer, a dryer, and some tools. Needless to say, this room was not in any way a rec room. A blue living soccer ball then rolled up to Merlin, as the Kitano asked, “Who are you?!” “I’m a soccer ball. Just a simple, lightning using, soccer ball. Do you wanna know why I just told you that? I wanna fight you!” the ball told him. The soccer ball then fired blue lightning at Merlin, as the Kitano fired yellow lightning at the ball. When the ball got desperate, it flew at Merlin with full force five time, which while it did hurt him, the fifth attack caused the soccer ball to pop, ending the ball’s life. After this, Merlin took a short nap in the room he was in.

After Merlin quickly made a full recovery, Tank entered the back room where the Kitano was. “Tank?! What are you doing here?! I just defeated you earlier!” Merlin asked. To this, Tank responded in dog language, “I am here because I want to join you. Zane the Creator is toying with my emotions! I didn’t want to attack you, he made me attack you! Please forgive me!” Merlin understood everything Tank was saying as he replied, “Oh, okay. I forgive you!” The Kitano and the Tumser Dogum were now allies. Charlie then entered the room and told Merlin, “Welcome to the free transport service! Where would you like to go?” Merlin began to say “Nowh-” before he was cut off by Tank answering, “I have a better idea! Take us to your leader!” Hearing this, Charlie grabbed both of them and took them upstairs, with the stairs being between the living room and the middle room, and when he went upstairs, he took a right and dropped the two off in a room with a massive golden plush dog with black eyes.

The golden dog told them, “I’m Giga the Top Dog. What do you want?” “We want you to stop this ‘free transport service’ now!” Tank told him in dog language. “I can understand what you’re saying, I’m a dog too, you know. However, I am afraid that I can’t do that.” Giga told them, to which Merlin responded, “Then you’re going down!” The Kitano then threw up a large hairball on the gigantic dog, before Giga shouted, “Alpha Blast!” firing a golden blast in the shape of the letter “A” at Tank, who then barked loudly, hurting Giga’s ears more than Merlin’s. A golden aura then appeared in Giga’s hands as he told them, “I see I cannot defeat you unless I do this!” He then fired a blast bigger than he was at Merlin, who told him, “You shall not defeat me! Face the power of The Barf!” He then began sending a blast of vomit out of his mouth towards Giga’s blast, with the attacks pushing against each other until Merlin’s barf prevailed and destroyed the blast. The puke then hit Giga and melted the plush dog, while also creating a hole in the floor. The dog’s last words were “I’m dying! But how, I’m the Top Dog, I’m the strongest! This can’t be happening!” Merlin’s barf was amplified by his aura to be exceptionally hot and acidic, making it especially deadly. After noticing that Giga was defeated, Charlie ran into the room enraged, as he told the two, “What?! You defeated all of my allies?! Okay, no more playing! Tank, you’re going to your cage!” Charlie then grabbed Tank, as he added, “And as for you, cat, I’m building a cat wall!” He then grabbed Merlin as well before running downstairs, placing the Kitano in the kitchen. Afterwards, he ran upstairs with Tank, separating the two. “I am once again on my own.” Merlin told himself.

Charlie took Tank upstairs and took a left and went down the hallway before opening a door to a room. Once in there, he opened a black cage, tossed Tank in and shut it before walking out of the room and slamming the door. Tank then began pouting, but as he did, he saw the image of Moony appear before him. She told him, “Don’t worry, there is still hope, Tumser Dogum. You’re still alive, are you not? You must fight this cage. It’s pretty weak. I believe in you.” After saying this, her image disappeared, and Tank could feel a movement in the cage that was almost like a heartbeat. “It’s alive!” Tank shouted in a loud yelp. Tank then used his aura to create ice to attack the cage, but the cage zapped him with aura of its own. Tank ignored the electricity, until eventually, he froze the cage. He then tackled the bars and shattered the cage. “I must go help Merlin!” Tank told himself, before tackling the room’s door at full force, shattering it. As this was happening, Merlin found a bowl of cat food on the floor and shouted, “That food looks gross!” before firing a lightning bolt at the food, destroying both the food and the bowl it was in. Afterwards, Merlin and Tank reached a wall of blue books that Charlie built to separate the kitchen from the middle room. “There’s the cat wall, and there’s Tank, on the other side of the wall! Let’s attack it!” Merlin stated. He then fired giant hairballs at it while Tank barked loudly at it, and before long, the wall was brought down, and the two were reunited. The two then walked into the middle room where Charlie was.

When the false Creator saw Merlin and Tank approach him, he told them, “So, I see you broke out of that cage and the cat wall, but that doesn’t matter now! You are now in my room, and I shall seal you away down in the Evile Dimension just like the plushies you’re fighting to free, Kitano!” Merlin then hurled a giant hairball onto Charlie, which he imitated by firing one of his own right back. Next, Tank barked loudly at him, but he barked back. When Merlin hurled a hairball at him again, he shouted, “Blue Bolt!” as he fired a cannon of electricity at him that was similar to the one Moony had previously used on him. Merlin, however, was strong enough to withstand this attack. Charlie then fired an Alpha Blast at Tank that was more powerful than Giga’s, but this attack wasn’t strong enough to defeat Tank either. Afterwards, he gave up with his copied attacks and began firing lasers from his eyes, but these were not enough to stop the Kitano or the Tumser Dogum either. Charlie’s eyes then began glowing redder than they had before, as he screamed at the top of his lungs, “I MUST SURVIVE!” He then fired two powerful lasers out of each one of his eyeballs, which hit Tank and Merlin directly, knocking them to the ground. The two quickly got back up, however, while Charlie was exhausted. “You’re still alive?!” Charlie asked the two in shock. Tank then let out another loud bark, which was just enough to make Charlie fall to the ground, as he was exhausted and also severely burned from Merlin’s attacks.

“But this is impossible, surely! I created the entire plush universe!” Charlie complained on the ground, unable to gather any more strength to attack. At that moment, something inside of Merlin clicked, like he had remembered a long lost memory. Merlin then replied, “No you didn’t. You’re just an impostor.” “What do you mean?!” Charlie asked, unable to believe that this kitten knew the truth. The Kitano told him, “Mertle’s prophecy is coming true. You are a fake. The one Zane, the REAL Zane is a god, one of the Four Omegas. You are a being left behind by his adoptive parents to take his place. Realize the truth. Realize the truth.” “Wait, you mean... the real one’s... a god?!” Charlie gasped in disbelief. Afterwards, the fake fell unconscious. Merlin and Tank then walked deeper into the middle room as the Tumser Dogum told the Kitano in dog language, “Wow, you’re pretty smart for your age and species. You seem even smarter than some humans I know of, and the fact that you can speak English and understand dog? Wow!” The two then reached the door and barrier that separated the middle room from the basement, as Merlin replied, “True, but now it’s time to set the plushies free!” Afterwards, Merlin tackled the door at full force, shattering it along with the barrier. The two then walked downstairs into the so-called Evile Dimension. “We’re free at last!” Swooper the plush pterodactyl shouted, as the other plushies and action figures cheered. When the two reached the bottom, however, Moony told them in a serious tone, “There is something I’ve learned about you, Kitano, that I must tell you as soon as possible!” “What is that?” Merlin asked. “The truth.” Moony replied, to which Merlin asked, “What do you mean?” “Kitano, you are the reincarnation of a legendary being, a being that helped create Omega and Rainbow. You are the God of Space.” Moony answered. “What?!” Merlin exclaimed.

The true story of Merlin’s past brings us back to the beginning of the universe, to before the two lights created Omega and Rainbow. Before there was anything, there were two men. The first man was a tall muscular man with spiky light blue hair and beard that appeared to go around his face, who had blue eyes. This man wore a sky blue t-shirt with the design of a light blue crystal that was pointed at the top and the bottom, and had a blue “Z” at the center, and outside of that shirt, he wore blue jeans and brown shoes. This man was Zezapion, the Time God. The other was a certain bearded man with a blue suit and a purple tie, and this man was none other than Mr. Ryan, the Space God. “So, which one are you going to create?” Mr. Ryan asked the Time God, to which Zezapion answered, “I’m going to create Omega!” “Okay, then I’ll create Rainbow!” Mr. Ryan told him. “Okay then! Now it’s time for the universe to be created!” the Time God replied. Zezapion then surrounded himself in an electric blue aura, as Mr. Ryan surrounded himself in a violet aura, and the two then created spheres from their aura. From Zezapion’s sphere, Omega was created, while from Mr. Ryan’s sphere, Rainbow was created. After the two were created, Omega and Rainbow flew away in order to fight each other.

After they did, however, a third light appeared, one that was salmon pink. This left Mr. Ryan puzzled, as Zezapion surrounded himself in an electric blue aura and stated, “What in the?! I’m outta here!” before disappearing. From the salmon pink aura, the form of Noipazez began to appear, as Mr. Ryan complained, “You’re just going to leave me behind?! Zezapion, how could you?!” After he said this, the aura around Noipazez disappeared, as he was now fully present. Noipazez then told him, “My name is Noipazez Ukim, God of Paradox. Who here created Omega and Rainbow? You have broken the laws of time. It’s illegal, they’re call the LAWS of time for a reason. I can see you, Mr. Ryan, I’m looking dead at you. I look like I have two eyes, when in reality, I have fourteen eyes. My eyes are eyes, and every spike of my hair is an eye, and every one of them saw the horrible crime you have committed.” Mr. Ryan then surrounded himself in a light purple aura as he said, “Uh-oh! Time Seal!” before blue lightning bolts hit Mr. Ryan from the purple aura and turned him to stone. “Time Seal, eh? That ability works until Omega splits. I’ll see you in 1993 AD of the original universe, and I’ll make sure you never return to your time.”

When Mr. Ryan awoke, it was not 1993, but rather, 2000, as that was when Zane, Abby, and Nikki split from Clyde. When he awoke, he began studying in order to become a history teacher. He eventually did become one in Frederick around 2009, but his life was mostly ordinary until 2013, when he met Zane, Abby, and Nikki. Noipazez saw this from somewhere outside of time and space, in a completely different reality from the one Mr. Ryan was in. “Is that Mr. Ryan that’s with three of the Four Omegas? I’ll wait until those three leave Frederick, and then I’ll make him become the very thing he teaches about, history!” Noipazez stated. Noipazez then appeared in Mr. Ryan’s classroom in June 2014, when he knew that there were no Mersunai gods to see him, and he blasted him with his attack, ending the Space God’s life. Noipazez then produced another salmon pink aura, and from it appeared a cow with glowing red eyes. The cow then sent fire towards everyone in the classroom, burning them to a crisp. Afterwards, Noipazez told the cow, “Good job, cow, but we can’t leave behind any witnesses, and that includes you!” before blasting the cow with the same blast that hit Mr. Ryan, and this time, nothing remained of the cow.

After his death, Mr. Ryan’s soul went to Mersunai, where Ceip, Zane, and Abby witnessed his arrival. “What’s that thing?” Zane asked. Ceip explained, “Um... That’s the spirit of someone who just died, basically, a ghost. We have to deal with all kinds of ghosts, but usually the rest of us have been judging them ever since Jin started training you. This one appears to be Mr. Ryan, the God of Space. Just a heads up in case Jin didn’t tell you, but gods can be killed if they’re attacked by someone powerful enough. Mr. Ryan appeared from the future and created Rainbow, but he was more famous for being a history teacher in that middle school you were in.” “I never would have guessed that our history teacher was hiding something so huge.” Zane stated. Mr. Ryan then asked Ceip, “So, where am I going now?” Ceip answered, “I’m going to have to reincarnate you. If I sent you somewhere as you are now, Noipazez is just going to attack you endlessly. Mr. Ryan, you will be a cat.” Afterwards, Ceip shined an ice blue aura on the former Space God, who then disappeared from Mersunai. Afterwards, Mr. Ryan couldn’t see anything, and was surrounded by darkness. He then heard someone say “Rebirth.” and when he awoke again, he was the kitten who became the Kitano, having lost the memories of his past life, and he wouldn’t start regaining memories from his past life until his battle with Charlie. Now, however, Moony had told him everything, and many of his memories from his time as Mr. Ryan came rushing back.

After Moony finished telling Merlin about his past life, she sensed something was off. She said, “Uh-oh.” before jumping towards where Merlin and Tank were. At that moment, a salmon pink blast hit every plush in the room other than Moony, completely destroying their bodies and sending their souls to Mersunai. After the blast cleared, Noipazez appeared before Merlin, Tank, and Moony. He told them, “I see you have some beef against me, Merlin, Tank, and Moony. Be at my Crystal Palace on Chronos. Be there or be dead.” Afterwards, he surrounded himself in salmon pink aura and disappeared. “This doesn’t sound good.” Merlin stated. Moony told the other two, “We must find a spaceship to get us to Mersunai!” “But that would take three years! There must be a better solution!” Merlin replied. Moony then thought, before she told them, “Well... Ceip will be visiting Frederick soon! Let’s go there!” “Well then, let’s go!” Merlin responded. The three then left the basement, and went through the middle room and the living room. Tank then tackled the front door, destroying it so they could go outside. They then walked outside and away from their house, leaving Martinsburg on their journey to Frederick.

Chapter 7: Noipazez the Paradox God

Later that day, the three arrived in Shepherdstown, which was still in West Virginia, relatively close to Martinsburg. They did this by following close to, but not on, the road. As the three were walking on the sidewalk, Merlin stated, “A new town! Is this Frederick? ...No, this place doesn’t look how I remembered.” Moony explained to them, “We still have a ways to go before we reach Frederick. This road takes us through forests, mountains, and even a river! About halfway, we’ll stop in a city called Brunswick, before heading to Frederick. Once we reach Frederick, we have to go to a Mexican restaurant near a creek! That’s where Ceip will be!” After she said this, a plush that looked exactly like Moony, except more violet, appeared. “Moony Paradox am I. Noipazez Master by here sent were we. Moony, and Dogum Tumser, Kitano kill.” the plush told them. Paradox Moony then released a violet aura in the air which swapped the four’s aura energy and body energy, while also weakening Merlin, Tank, and Moony. “Blue Bolt!” Moony shouted as she fired her cannon of electricity at her paradox counterpart, which hit the plush. Paradox Moony then created a pink aura with her hands and shouted, “Blast Moonlight!” as she fired a large crescent moon shaped blast towards Moony, which hit. Merlin then threw up a giant hairball on Paradox Moony, which caused the plush to collapse. Paradox Moony then told them “This of know will Noipazez.” before disappearing. After she disappeared, their aura energy and body energy were swapped back to normal, and their strength returned to them, while Moony felt a new power come to her. “I can feel it, the power of the moon is now with me.” Moony told the other two. The three then walked on, leaving Shepherdstown.

The three followed the road until they reached Charles Town, West Virginia, and after they reached it, they followed the road to Frederick, as they saw less cars than they saw before, and after they left the town, no more cars were driving by at all. “Uh-oh.” Moony told herself. “What’s wrong?” Merlin asked her. “This is a highway, the most active kind of road, and there’s no activity. Rainbow might be behind this!” Moony told him, to which Merlin replied, “Uh-oh is right!” The two continued to follow the road until they reached a river, and the bridge to the other side was destroyed, and that wasn’t the only thing that was destroyed. While there was forests on the side of the river they were on, the other side was completely barren, devoid of almost all life. “Here it is, the Potomac River, and across from it is a barren wasteland that was once called Virginia. I hear that Rainbow did this six months ago.”

After she said this, a dark violet dog that looked like Tank swam up to them from the river, and as he was in the water, he told them, “Wuppy am I. Master is Noipazez, master not A Big.” Afterwards, Paradox Tank released a violet dome of aura that caused the river’s water to be harmful to cats and plushies, but not to dogs, and also changed the power of aura. Merlin then hurled a giant hairball towards him, but this was weaker that usual, and the river’s water formed a fist and punched him. Paradox Tank then jumped at Tank with speeds that were faster than light, hurting Tank, as Tank barked loudly at him. The river then formed a hand and pet both of them. Moony then formed a light blue aura in her hands as she shouted, “Moonlight Blast!” before firing a light blue crescent moon shaped blast at Paradox Tank. The river then formed a foot and kicked Moony in the jaw. The fighting continued until Moony fired a second Moonlight Blast, causing Paradox Tank to collapse in the river. Paradox Tank then said, “Master sorry. You upon shame great brought have I.” before disappearing. Afterwards, the river returned to normal along with the aura of Moony, Merlin, and Tank. On top of this, Tank was now able to move faster in short bursts. Afterwards, the three crossed the river into Virginia, where they only stopped by briefly to cross into Maryland, using a path that humans were once able to take.

After walking some more, the three arrived in another city. “I take it this also isn’t Frederick?” Merlin asked. Moony replied, “Your assumption would be correct. This is Brunswick, meaning we’re finally in the correct state. I bet you’re hungry right now, because I am! There’s an awesome pizza place here that I heard about! Let’s get some!” “Plushies can eat?” Merlin asked. The two then walked to a pizza place where Moony made the order. “I would like to order three slices of cheese pizza!” Moony told them. “That will be $14.56.” the person at the register told her. The people there didn’t seem to question the fact that a talking plush cat was making the order, as after seeing Rainbow, nothing seemed to surprise them anymore, nor were they surprised to see that same plush cat order with real money. After their order was ready, they each got their own small box and took their pizza to a picnic table outside. When they reached the table, they opened their boxes to see three slices of pizza that were larger than Moony was. “These pizzas are huge!” Merlin exclaimed.

Moony then saw something in the bushes, as she replied while facing the bush, “Yes, but there’s something that’s not, and it doesn’t taste good either.” After she said this, a cat that looked like a violet version of Merlin jumped down near their picnic table. “And that is a Paradox Kitano.” Moony finished. “Oh my!” Merlin replied. “Moony and, Tank, Kitano kill to me ordered Noipazez Master. Master defy to dare not does Kitano Paradox.” the cat told them. Paradox Kitano then released a violet aura in the air that increased his speed, and shouted, “Beam Universal!” before firing three magenta lasers at Merlin. Moony then fired a Moonlight Blast at Paradox Kitano as Tank would jump at Merlin’s paradox counterpart at high speeds in rapid succession. Afterwards, Paradox Kitano began to charge a magenta aura in his paws, which caused Moony and Tank to jump back. The paradox then shouted, “Master our down let cannot I!” with Merlin replying, “May The Barf hold strong!” Paradox Kitano then let out a large magenta blast, as Merlin countered with a blast of vomit. The blasts hit each other, but Merlin’s attack pushed through the Paradox Kitano’s and hit Merlin’s paradox counterpart at full force. Paradox Kitano then shouted, “Even don’t I, this is what!” before disappearing. After this, Merlin felt a power awaken in his, as he heard a man’s voice tell him, “Merlin, you are the God of Space!” The cat didn’t know it, but this was Jin’s voice that had spoken to him, as the gods watching from Mersunai were noticing the power of the Kitano’s divine soul. In that instant, Merlin remembered the rest of his memories as Mr. Ryan, including the former history teacher’s special attack, Universal Beam.

Merlin, Tank, and Moony then left Brunswick and continued walking, where nothing eventful would happen to them again until they reached a construction site at the outskirts of Frederick. “Here we are at the construction site! We’re almost in Frederick!” Moony told them, as they saw the construction workers screaming at what appeared to be a violet version of the Creator that Moony know. “Oh dear me!” Moony complained. The boy then saw the three and approached them, as he told them, “Zane Paradox am I. Nigh is end your.” He then released a violet aura in the air, but due to his internal fear of dogs, the only thing it did was power up Tank until the dog was briefly the strongest being in the universe. Tank then barked, sending Paradox Zane flying into space as he screamed, “Unfair is story this of writer the!” The violet aura then disappeared, with Tank’s strength returning to normal. “I wouldn’t have minded if that aura stayed around.” Merlin remarked. Afterwards, the three walked under the bridge near where the construction site was, as Moony told the other two, “Frederick is just beyond this bridge!” The three then walked until they reached the creek downtown.

Merlin, Tank, and Moony found the Mexican restaurant in question, where the three saw a sight. There was the pale skinned man with his elastic suit, the unmistakable appearance of Ceip, and near him was a brown haired man with green eyes and a receding hairline that wore a green suit, a golden tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes. The man then told Ceip, “My name’s Ham. I’m da boss of dis place and I’m gonna make ya work here until ya rage.” “You’re not making me do anything! I’m the God of Ice, Ceip!” Ceip responded in anger. Ham then tried to toss a taco at Ceip, but the God of Ice used his aura to create a blizzard in the restaurant that buried everything in snow, which caused Ham to fall to the ground. “You lucky Joe...!” Ham complained, as Ceip walked outside, telling himself, “What a rude restaurant owner.” Merlin, Tank, and Moony followed the god outside. When the four walked outside, Ceip told the other three, “I need your help to stop Noipazez!” “That’s exactly what we’re trying to do. Can you take us to Mersunai?” Merlin asked him, to which Ceip replied, “Sure thing!” Ceip then grabbed Tank and Merlin and flew off with them to Mersunai, with Moony following by using her Light of Life. After the four left, the real owner of the restaurant arrived, and after seeing the destruction that was caused, he called the police on Ham, who was soon arrested.

A few minutes after they left, the four reached the atmosphere of Mersunai. Merlin was able to withstand the planet due to his divinity making him just as immune to death by natural causes as a Mersunai was, while Moony was able to survive because she had her light of life. This led Merlin to ask a question to Ceip, being, “How is Tank able to survive this?” “He’s able to survive because Tank’s soul got powered up by Zane during his previous life. He was a tuxedo cat known as the Top Predator back then. Because of Zane, both Tank and Moony have a bit of divinity in them, even if they’re not fully fledged gods.” Ceip answered, to which Tank replied, “I didn’t know that!” “Neither did I!” Moony remarked in shock. When the four landed, Leila was there waiting for them. “This is Leila, the Goddess of Water.” Ceip told the other three, as Leila told them, “Hello.” Ceip then asked her, “Leila, can you help us get to Chronos? I can’t seem to find where that is.” “Chronos, as in, the planet Noipazez claims to be from? Well, Omega told me centuries ago that Chronos is located outside of time and space, in a universe far removed from where we are. We could fly for eons in any direction, and we would still never be able to reach it.” Leila answered. “Well, now what?” Merlin asked, to which Leila replied, “I didn’t say it was hopeless! There should be an abandoned ship somewhere on Mersunai. If you can get it to work, it appears to be some type of large hybrid between a spaceship and a time machine. It should be on one of the nearby mountains.” “Thank you, we’ll see if we can get it to work!” Ceip told her. Him, Merlin, Tank, and Moony then walked off to check the nearby mountains.

As they were climbing one of the mountains, Merlin bumped into something metallic. It appeared to be some type of large run down structure with the appearance of a giant pillar, except it was made from some type of dark blue metal with glowing light blue lines going throughout it. “This appears to be what we’re looking for.” Ceip told them. “What is that thing?! It looks like the ruins of some long lost civilization!” Moony exclaimed, to which Ceip replied, “Well, if it can get us to Chronos, we’ll just have to deal with it.” The four then searched and found a button somewhere on the ship, which opened a door. Despite how it looked on the outside, the inside lit up when they entered. The walls and ceiling on the inside had the appearance of golden glitter, while the floor had a marble appearance, and on the walls, they could see designs of what appeared to be some type of tuxedo cat. “This place is really weird!” Tank told the others, with Ceip responding, “I’m actually inclined to agree with that statement. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

When the four approached something that appeared to be some type of control panel, a voice spoke to them. “Welcome to Timeship Kero Model #1739. Where and when would you like to go?” “Noipazez’s planet Chronos!” Ceip told the machine. The machine responded, “The place you are referring to exists outside of our own reality. Are you sure you would like to continue?” “Yes!” Ceip told it. “Very well then. Destination set to Noipazez’s Castle on planet Chronos.” the machine told it. The four then heard the machine make sounds, as on the outside, the pillar-like ship began floating in the air, and before anyone knew it, the ship appeared to vanish. Meanwhile, on the inside, the ship told the four, “We have entered the time stream.” Within the time stream, which was a grayish color between blue and purple, the ship moved violently in such a way that it left the time stream, leaving reality. “We have left Reality Z-793. Headed towards Reality N-814.” the ship told them.

It kept flying until it entered a different time stream with a silver appearance, and when it came back out, the ship was near a planet that shined with a silver appearance. The ship then showed the four where they were on a display. “We are now at planet Chronos.” the ship told them. As the ship flew down, they could see fields of silver grass under a red-orange sky, and in the distance, there was a massive pink castle that shined like a crystal, and it was surrounded by a glass dome. “I see a pink castle! I think that’s it!” Ceip told the others. As the ship approached the dome, a hole opened that allowed the ship in before closing again. Afterwards, the ship landed in front of the castle, which was made of some type of pink crystal. “We are now at our destination!” the ship told them. Afterwards, the four walked outside. Once their feet touched the silver grass, Ceip told them, “Here we are!” After he said this, a huge salmon pink blast hit their ship, destroying their only way back, which caused Ceip to jump. The four of them then heard Noipazez tell them from the sky, “Now that you’re here at my doorstep, your end is almost here. That was a one way trip, and once you enter my castle, you will have to fight beings from various timelines from your own reality who have broken the laws of time. Be prepared.” “This isn’t good.” Ceip told the other three. When the three reached the castle’s entrance, they saw a robotic cow with red eyes charge at them. Merlin then created a violet aura in his paws before shouting, “Universal Beam V!” He then fired five purple lasers instead of three at robot, reducing it to scrap in an instant. “Wow, that’s even more powerful than Mr. Ryan’s attack!” Ceip exclaimed. The group then walked into the castle.

As they walked through the castle, they saw a woman with long brown hair and green eyes who wore a yellow hoodie, white pants, and gray shoes. “I guess I’ll have to fight you now.” she told them, to which Moony shouted, “Moonlight Blast!” firing her crescent moon blast that wiped the floor of Noipazez’s Castle with the girl’s ashes once it hit. “If Noipazez keeps sending beings like that, this will be a piece of cake!” Merlin told the others. Afterwards, they saw a plump man with pale skin, orange hair, and a goatee who wore a red shirt, dark red pants, and green shoes, and he was holding a giant red rod. “Hey guys, my name is Enaz Rugabegabegabega!” he told them in a jolly voice. He then ran after them with his rod, before Ceip created his own stick made out of ice and whacked the man with it, sending him bouncing around the room like a ball. “I’m sorry!” the man shouted as the two walked on. Next, they saw what appeared to be a red stick figure with four black crystals coming out of his head and one red crystal, and that being fired a ball of wind at the two. Tank then jumped at the stick figure and tore it apart. “Dude, these guys are wimpy!” Moony groaned. Meanwhile, Noipazez told himself from a distance, “Steel Killer Cow, caused a version of me from a different reality to send out an alien to try to destroy it. Olivian, traveled back in time to get her timeline’s Abby to kiss her boyfriend, and do more. Enaz Rugabegabegabega, traveled back in time and ate his timeline’s Omega right after Zezapion created him. Commander Red, tried to travel back in time in order to try and make his timeline’s Pink love the past version of himself. I have to say, the Kitano and his allies are stronger than I expected them to be.”

Soon, the two reached a stairway, and there, they saw what appeared to be Zezapion, except he wore a red shirt and brown pants. “Hi, my name is Zezapion, but you can just call me Zeza!” the man told him. “What’s your biggest crime other than your awful fashion sense?” Moony asked him. “Oh, that! Yeah, I MAY have went back in time and destroyed Plush Land so Rainbow couldn’t rise from there!” Zeza told her. “You WHAT?!” Moony screamed before firing a barrage of Moonlight Blast at him as he created a wall of blue crystals. He then created a massive light blue crystal that was pointed on both sides and had the letter “Z” in the center and shouted, “Z Crystal!” as he fired it at all of them. Merlin then shouted, “I AM THE GOD OF SPACE!” before firing an giant violet blast at Zeza, destroying him. “How DARE he...!” Moony stated in rage, before Ceip reminded her, “That Zezapion was probably from a timeline other than ours. He didn’t attack our universe’s Plush Land.” Afterwards, Ceip looked at the staircase before them and told the others, “Now that we’ve defeated those guys, we seem to be at a staircase. There may be beings up there that are more powerful than what we just faced. We may even see Noipazez himself up there, in which case, we might be able to save Merlin’s soul from being chased by him for eternity. Let’s go up there.” The four then walked up the staircase.

When they reached the top, they saw a blue bald stick figure that was the size of a child. The stick figure told them, “I’m Zuper Zane! I’m here to beat you for breaking the laws of time!” “Oh yeah? Try us!” Moony told him. Hearing this, he told Merlin and Tank, “Moony and Ceip have nothing to do with this!” before opening up a portal to the time stream in Merlin’s reality and tossing the two he mentioned in. He then closed the portal like it were a zipper. “What did you do to Ceip and Moony?!” Merlin demanded. “I sent them back to Mersunai in their own universe and time!” the stick figure told them. Merlin then fired Universal Blast V at him, while Tank jumped at him. Zuper Zane then created a crystal similar to Zezapion’s, except it was two dimensional and less detailed, and he threw it at the two. Tank then jumped at him once more before he shouted, “Okay, I get it! I’m outta here!” He then opened up a time stream once again, except this time, it was a dark blue one, and he jumped him, closing the portal. “That was bizarre. I do know one thing though, and that’s that things from this point forward won’t be as easy as they were before.” Merlin told Tank.

The two walked forward until they saw a bright yellow cat with green eyes. The cat told them, “I’m the god Sam, so I make up the rules for this fight. The more important you are, the bigger you’ll be, like we’re Egyptians and I’m the pharaoh!” Afterwards, Sam changed his size to that of an elephant, while also reducing Tank’s size to a mouse. “What in the world?!” Merlin exclaimed. Sam then told them, “Now listen to this little factoid! If I kill you, it’s not called murdering, it’s called smiting!” The cat then send solar flares at the Kitano, who fought back with a Universal Beam V. Tank then jumped at Sam, which despite his size, hit the cat’s entire body, proving that the size of both him and Sam were merely an illusion. Realizing this, Tank picked up Sam with his jaws and thrashed him around like a chew toy before tossing him to the ground. “Ah, I see you outsmarted me. The only one after me is Noipazez, and he will be the one to finally end you.” Sam told them. He then disappeared. “Did you hear that, Tank? The final fight is near!” Merlin told Tank. Noipazez then told himself, “Zuper Zane, partially responsible for the destruction of a timeline. Sam, went back in time and conquered ancient Egypt so he could become a pharaoh, and used his power to annihilate Europe.” Merlin and Tank heard this as they were approaching, and Merlin asked, “What are you mumbling about?!”

“So, you’re finally here, Merlin and Tank. You have come far, but I am immortal. That means I can’t be killed. Knowing this is the last thing you’ll ever know.” Noipazez told the Kitano and Tumser Dogum. Merlin and Tank then began attacking Noipazez with their full strength, but couldn’t even manage to scratch him. “It’s no use, he wasn’t even fazed by those attacks!” Tank told Merlin. Afterwards, Noipazez opened up a hole to the time stream of Merlin and Tank’s timeline. “I’ll need to be right back!” Noipazez told them, as he jumped in. To this, Merlin shouted, “No you don’t!” before he and Tank also jumped in as well. After the three entered, the entrance to the time stream closed, as Merlin and Tank flew after Noipazez inside of time itself, with the currents hitting their fur. Eventually, they began to slow down as they saw themselves getting closer to something that was dark violet. “What’s that in the distance?” Merlin asked. As the two got closer, they heard it speak, “Who comes there?”

Afterwards, the two stopped and saw a dark violet cat with a fur pattern that looked similar to Merlin’s, but this cat was larger. “What are you?” Merlin asked the cat. The cat responded, “I am the Paradox Heart, the fuel for Noipazez’s ability to travel through time, and to different timelines. Why are you here?” “To stop Noipazez once and for all!” Merlin answered. To this, the Paradox Heart told him, “That is not an acceptable answer. You must be erased.” The Paradox Heart then fired a large red ball of aura at Merlin, which he bounced back with a Universal Blast V. “That was probably just a lucky hit.” Paradox Heart stated, unable to realize how strong his foes were. Tank then jumped at him, which also hurt him, so he shouted, “Such strong beings shall not exist! Universal Beam V!” firing a copy of Merlin’s attack at Tank. Tank dodged this, and Merlin fired the same attack back at him. This angered the Paradox Heart, who then shouted, “Paradox!” and fired the attack that Noipazez used on Mr. Ryan, and this attack hit Tank directly, but unlike Mr. Ryan, Tank survived the attack and still had some fight left. He then jumped at the cat, which caused the Paradox Heart to be unable to keep himself stable. The Paradox Heart then screamed, “This can’t be happening!” before falling into the time stream. Afterwards, Merlin and Tank continued to fly in the time stream.

The two soon reached Noipazez, who began to say, “I will-!” before his body began to fade, which caused him to exclaim “What?! How is this happening?!” As his body began to fade more, he shouted at the Kitano and Tumser Dogum, “You two destroyed the Paradox Heart, didn’t you?!” and, as little of his body remained, he screamed, “But, how?! I am a god! This can’t be happening! Nooooooo-!” before being cut off by the rest of his body having faded away. Afterwards, the two slowly began moving in the time stream again, as Merlin asked, “We’re trapped here, aren’t we?” After he said this, the time stream suddenly dropped the two in a field. “Where are we?” Merlin asked. Little did the two know, they had landed somewhere in the distant future of the time they were from. As such, this part of their tale ends here.

Chapter 8: Moony's Decision & the Other Omegas Found

It was still September 2014 when Ceip and Moony returned to Mersunai on the same mountain that they found the time machine. “What happened? We’re back on Mersunai?” Moony asked. Ceip looked around and responded, “That appears to be the case. Are we still in the same time, though?” The two climbed down, and when they reached the bottom, they saw Leila. She asked them, “You two are already back? I just saw that strange ship lift off around two minutes ago!” “I believe that means we’re back in our own time.” Moony told Ceip. “Say, where is Merlin and Tank?” Leila asked. “I have no idea. We met some stick figure in Noipazez’s Castle and he tossed us into the time stream. After that, we ended up back here.” Ceip answered. As the two talked, not very far away, Jin was training Zane and Abby, who heard this. “That voice sounds familiar.” Zane remarked. The three then flew to where Ceip, Moony, and Leila were. “Moony? It’s one thing that you were able to leave the Plush World, but how did you get to Mersunai?” Zane asked. “I used my Light of Life. I gained it after fighting an impostor of you who attacked Plush Land. He captured most of the plushies, so I appointed a new Kitano. He saved us, but then Noipazez, the God of Paradox destroyed most of them. I think that the only plushies that might survive, if you don’t include Mega, Emerald, Vanilla, and myself, would be Mertle, Chocolate, Silver, Queen Ann, King Bones, and Jumpy.” Moony explained. “Wait a moment, Chocolate, Queen Ann, and Jumpy should’ve been in Plush Heaven, and King Bones should’ve been in the Plush Underworld! Did the live system break down when I left?” Zane asked in shock, to which Jin answered, “That shouldn’t come as a surprise. The fact that you were unskilled with your abilities when you left probably meant that your ability to do that only had a limited range, and leaving Earth meant that you were just too far away.” “I should note though that your live system breaking down is the only reason that any of the plushies you created survived at all.” Ceip added.

After saying this, Ceip got serious and asked the plush cat, “Moony, you have become quite powerful, and you may be even more powerful than I am, so, I will give you a choice. I could give you the title of a goddess, in which case, you would become the Goddess of the Moon, since we no longer have one of those. This would mean that you would be able to judge souls here on Mersunai, but it would also mean that you would have to help us fight against Rainbow. Your other choice is that you could return to Earth and live as a powerful being at the same level as you currently are, but you would not be bound to the same duties as those of us on Mersunai are.” “Thank you for your offer, but I’m afraid I’ll have to decline. He has already told me that I should find Emerald and Vanilla when the time is right, travel into space, and put myself in suspended animation for one trillion and sixty billion years. I cannot tell you what I’m supposed to do after that, as doing so may change the future.” Moony answered. “He? Who is he?” Jin asked, to which Moony told him, “Answering that question would mean breaking the laws of time.” “I see. Jin, I don’t think you should continue questioning her. If she tells us the truth, it might put her in serious danger.” Ceip stated. Afterwards, Moony flew up using her Light of Life, and told the gods down below, “This is goodbye for now! Creator, Abby, we will meet again! It may be a long time from now, but it will happen! That’s a promise! Both of you must survive and defeat Rainbow! Give Mega my regards!” Zane then shouted back, “Goodbye, Moony! Make sure you survive too!” as Moony flew away. The plush cat then left Mersunai’s atmosphere and began flying back towards Earth.

About two months passed since the Kitano’s adventure, and it was now November 2014. As Clyde and Mega were making content for their channels, Nikki noticed a news story on her phone. The headline read “Rainbow’s Rampage in Quebec Day 6”. “What?! Rainbow’s back?! I have to do something!” Nikki cried, after which, she ran to the door, which got both Clyde and Mega to pause their recordings. “Where are you going?” Clyde asked her, to which Nikki replied, “I’m going to fight Rainbow! He’s been attacking Canada for a while, and I didn’t even notice!” She then opened the door and ran outside before flying. “Wait, that’s dangerous! Nikki!” Mega screamed before also running outside and flying away, giving chase. Clyde then also ran outside, where he exclaimed, “I didn’t know those two can fly!” He tried to get himself off the ground, and much to his surprise, he started floating. “Oh hey, I can fly too! Wait up!” Clyde stated before flying off at high speeds, albeit, less skillfully than Mega and Nikki since it was his first time flying. Mega looked back and exclaimed, “Hey, I didn’t know Clyde could fly!” “I didn’t know either, Tiffany!” Clyde shouted back. Within about a minute, the three reached the skies over Quebec. Rainbow sensed this from miles away, as he told himself, “Oh? It seems I have some company.” He flew towards the others, and in what seemed like an instant, he was before the three. “What is that speed?!” Mega exclaimed. “It’s no wonder you would be surprised, Mega. Before, you saw me when Omega still had a seal on my power, but now, I have broken free from that seal. What you are seeing right now is the true power of the God of Death.” Rainbow told her. “Did he just called Tiffany ‘Mega’?” Clyde asked, to which Mega shouted back, “I don’t think that matters right now! We’re in serious trouble! He’s not the same as I remembered him!” Mega then charged her rainbow attack through her nose and fired a Beauty Beam at Rainbow, but the bear swiftly dodged. Afterwards, Rainbow slapped Mega and sent her flying to the ground, knocking out the God of Life upon impact and leaving a crater.

“How dare you hurt Tiffany?!” Clyde screamed before charging at Rainbow, who just replied, “Die.” before firing a powerful red laser at the man. Just before the attack could hit, however, something took Nikki, Clyde, and Mega away. As such, the laser missed the three and ended up hitting a bird instead, reducing it to ash. “I guess one of the others gods knew those pathetic weaklings stood no chance against me. Good on them, now I can pick off every last human in Canada until not a single one of them remains.” Rainbow told himself. Clyde and Nikki looked to see who the one that saved them was, and it was none other than Dirmon. The two, of course, had no idea who this man was. He then flew the three back to Los Angeles, and when Mega recovered, he spoke to them. “It seems I’ve finally found you, Nikki and Clyde! I’m Dirmon, the God of Earth! What you did was very, very dangerous! You could’ve died! Regardless, you are two of the Four Omegas! Nikki, you are the Goddess of Light! Clyde, you are the God of Randomness! Clyde, your special ability is your strength! As for you, Nikki, try to create an attack with your energy!” Nikki did as she was instructed, and she created a blast of light with more power than anything she had ever created. “That is called a Light Cannon! It is a powerful blast of light with incredible destructive power! Just like your other abilities, it uses aura, or the power of your soul! You’re also able to fly faster than the speed of light! Even I can’t do that!” “Wow, I’ve had powers even more awesome than the ones I knew about?! I can save all kinds of people with this!” Nikki cheered. Dirmon told her, “You may be strong, but Rainbow has far more experience! Think of him like a black hole and like you’re light! If you fly near him as you are right now, you’ll be gone for good! You and Clyde need training!” Afterwards, he turned to Mega and added, “As for you, black haired woman, I’ll train you as well, since I can tell you have a huge potential!” Afterwards, the three would train, not on Mersunai, but rather on Earth. As such, none of the other gods realized at the time that Nikki, Clyde, and Mega had been found, and for Dirmon, that was by design, as he didn’t want Rainbow to find them again so soon.

It was now December 2014, when Moony found Emerald and Vanilla in their human forms, and they were surprisingly in Boston. She didn’t recognize them, but they recognized her, so Emerald shouted, “Moony!” “Did someone shout my name?” she asked before she flew down. She quickly found the two, as they stood out from the other two. Moony saw the hair color of the two and the realization hit her, as she began to ask, “...Are you?” “I’m Emerald the bunny! ...Well, okay, maybe I’m not a bunny right NOW!” Emerald told her, with Vanilla adding, “And I’m Vanilla, but you already know who we are! We haven’t seen you in a long time!” “I never would’ve expected to find you in Massachusetts! Have you two found a spaceship yet?” Moony asked them, to which Emerald replied, “Well... I have no idea where to look!” “Somehow, that doesn’t surprise me at all.” Moony told him. “What’s that supposed to mean?!” Emerald asked, annoyed. “I’m thinking we should probably go south. I have a feeling that if we go to Texas, we might find a spaceship. There might be other places too, but that’s the one I can think of right away.” Moony told them. “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” Vanilla told her. The three would then head back south.

In February 2016, Emerald, Vanilla, and Moony reached Houston, where they found a spaceship. They then looked for ways to freeze themselves from within the spaceship, and brought three such machines with them as they sneaked into the ship. Moony then took the controls, and their rocket began blasting off into outer space. “What in the world?! There wasn’t supposed to be a launch today!” a scientist exclaimed. Once the three were in space, Moony told the other two, “Now, it’s time for us to freeze ourselves. It will be a long time before we are safe.” She then pressed a button on one of the freezing chambers and entered it. Afterwards, she pressed a button on the inside and the machine closed. In a very short period of time, the plush cat became frozen in ice. “Well, I guess it’s our turn next.” Vanilla told Emerald. Afterwards, the two transformed back into their plush forms, and Vanilla was the next one to get into a machine, freezing himself. Afterwards, Emerald, who was now alone, told himself “To everything I’ve ever known, this is goodbye. I hope that we make it safely into the future!” He was then the last to get into the machine, and he pressed a button, after which, he too would be frozen. The spaceship would eventually leave Earth’s orbit, and far later on, the solar system as well, and it would fly in space for eons.

Over a year passed, and it was now April 2017. After three years, Rainbow had eliminated almost all the humans in Canada, with the population having dropped down to under two million. It was then that he told himself, “I have become bored with this place.” before firing millions of lasers into the air like he did in Virginia, and just like what happened there, every form of life in Canada was destroyed in a matter of minutes. He then flew northwest to where Alaska was. “This place looks to be mostly empty. Not worth my time. I’ll just wipe it out now.” Rainbow told himself. He then did the same to Alaska. Afterwards, he flew east to Greenland, and wiped that out as well, and also melted any glaciers that were there, which caused its own devastation. After he did this, he flew southwest until he reached Hawaii. “That’s enough for wiping out icy places. Now, let’s blow some stuff up!” Rainbow told himself. He then created multiple red spheres of aura and tossed it at every one of Hawaii’s islands. When these attacks hit, each one caused a powerful explosion, wiping the islands completely off the map. Afterwards, he flew into the ocean and told himself, “Alright, now I’m gonna go take a nap where no one can find him.” Afterwards, he fell asleep at the bottom of the sea. Rainbow’s final attack on Canada, as well as his destruction of Alaska, Greenland, and Hawaii took place all within the same hour.

Chapter 9: Apocalypse

For months, things would one again be peaceful for all of Earth that survived Rainbow’s attack, until March 2018, when Rainbow awoke again from the sea. “Alright, I think that should be long enough.” he told himself. Afterwards, he flew out of the sea and flew back to North America. This time, he returned to the mainland US, and chose to descend somewhere in the fields of the state of Maryland. “I have a personal beef against this place, so I’ll make sure to savor EVERY moment of this!” Rainbow told himself. As this was happening, Jin told Zane and Abby on Mersunai. “It’s been four years, and Rainbow is after your home! We must return to Earth!” The other two nodded in agreement, and the three of them flew to Earth. As they were flying in space, Rainbow grabbed four humans and tossed them inside of a car. They were the adoptive parents of Zane and Abby. “What do you think you’re doing?! Couldn’t you see I was at work?!” the adoptive father of Zane asked, as Melissa shouted, “Just wait ‘til I’m done with you!” “Oh? It appears you bunch have quite a mouth! Don’t worry, I’m just using you as bait to lure out Zane and Abby.” Rainbow told them. “What business do you have with those freaks?!” Jim asked, to which Rainbow responded, “You’ll see soon enough.”

A couple minutes later, Jin, Zane, and Abby found Rainbow and the car he had. “There he is!” Jin told them as Rainbow flew to the air to meet them. “Look at who we have here. It’s Jin, and he thinks that he can defeat me by bringing Zane and Abby of the Four Omegas to fight me. How amusing! You three have ran into your demise.” he told them. Afterwards, he descended to the ground, and the other three gods followed. Rainbow then continued, “Let’s fight here. This is a plains in Maryland, a state that two of you should know all too well.” Afterwards, the adoptive parents of the four walked out and saw what was happening. “You mean, Abby was good all along?! I’ve been a fool all this time!” Melissa cried as Jim held on to his wife, when Zane’s adoptive father told Zane, who was now a man, “I was wrong about you. I know there’s nothing I can do to make things right after everything, but I will say that I’m sorry for everything me and your mother have put you through.” After he said this, Rainbow turned to the parents and told them, “Your little reunion is over now. Die.” He then fired red lasers at the four, and instead of turning them to ash, it turned them into a pool of blood. “What was that?!” both Zane and Abby exclaimed. Ceip saw the events that were unfolding and chose to descend as well, as Jin told Zane and Abby, “He did much more than what you saw here. While we were gone, Ceip reported that he wiped out all life in Virginia, Alaska, Canada, and Greenland, and blew up Hawaii! He also caused the sea levels to rise, which destroyed multiple cities!” When Ceip landed, he told Zane and Abby, “You need to fly everyone you can to somewhere as far away from here as possible! Me and Jin will hold him from here! Hurry!” “We will!” Zane responded. The two then flew away. “You’re fighting me without their help? You must have a death wish.” Rainbow told Jin and Ceip.

For the next two years, Zane and Abby would fly people from all over the world to places they deemed to be far away enough, and included places in east or southeast Asia, or in some cases, Oceania as well. Many people from the Americas, Europe, and Africa were suddenly relocated to parts of the world that were alien to them, and some fared better than others. In some cases, their lives would be massively improved, while for others, they would be completely ruined. As this was happening, Dirmon continued to train Nikki, Clyde, and Mega, while Ceip with his powerful blizzards, and Jin with his fireballs would fight Rainbow, keeping the God of Death at bay enough that he couldn’t harm many people, as they were fighting somewhere away from where most people lived. Despite how many people Zane and Abby would fly across the world, they could not take them all, and the two didn’t find the other gods.

Two years had passed, and it was now March 2020, which started off the same as the other days, but it wouldn’t remain that way. Zane and Abby happened to be flying by where Jin and Ceip were fighting Rainbow, when Ceip created an especially sharp shard of ice that created a small cut on Rainbow’s right arm. This caused Rainbow to fly into a rage and scream, “You cut me! Now you must die!” After this, the God of Death floated in the air as red aura formed around his entire body. “I really don’t like the looks of this.” Ceip told Jin, as Abby asked, “What’s going on?!” Rainbow then created a red ring from his aura that expanded for minutes until it surrounded the Earth, with Rainbow moving the ring to over the equator. “Yep, I know what this is!” Jin stated in horror. Jin then flared with an flaming orange aura, as Ceip glowed with an icy blue aura, both pushing their aura beyond their limits, and they created forcefields around as many mortals as they could, which didn’t even make up 0.001% of Earth’s population. Rainbow’s ring then expanded into a hollow sphere that surrounded the entire Earth, giving the sky of the entire planet a red glow. Then, Rainbow shouted, “Apocalypse!”

After Rainbow announced his attacks, trillions of red lasers began bombarding the entire planet, including areas that Ceip thought Rainbow wouldn’t attack. At the house that contained the Plush World, lasers wrecked havoc on the house’s exterior. “It’s over, isn’t it?” Chocolate told herself. Part of the ceiling crashed on King Bones, shattering the action figure, while lasers turned Queen Ann, Silver, Jumpy, and lastly Chocolate to ash. In Los Angeles, Susie, Maggie, and Mertle were together when lasers hit the house they were in. “What’s going on?!” Susie screamed, as Maggie also screamed, “Where’s Nikki?!” before the two could scream more, lasers hit the two, turning them to ash. Mertle used his aura to create a barrier around himself, and as such, managed to avoid being destroyed by Rainbow’s lasers. Also during the bombardment, Dirmon, Nikki, Clyde, and Mega saw the destruction from the storm of death. “This is it, humanity is doomed! No mortal is strong enough to survive this!” Dirmon told the others. Due to the strength of the four, Rainbow’s lasers didn’t do much to them. The lasers fell upon the Earth for minutes, until eventually, they stopped. The vast majority of Earth’s population was wiped out. For humans alone, the number of casualties were over eight billion, with just over 10,000 humans surviving, with ninety percent of those humans surviving due to the protection of Jin and Ceip’s forcefields. After the lasers stopped falling, both Jin and Ceip fell to the ground, and their souls left their bodies. Rainbow then fired two more lasers to disintegrate the bodies of the two, but this didn’t matter, as the two were already dead. Now, only four of the Mersunai gods survived, being Dirmon, Georgia, Leila, and Mega, with the other surviving gods being the Four Omegas and Rainbow himself. Afterwards, Rainbow stated “Whew, I need a break.” before flying away to take a nap.

After the lasers stopped falling, Dirmon told Nikki, Clyde, and Mega, “There’s no time left! The majority of the human race has been killed! We have to go now and unite with the other two Omegas!” The four then flew out of the rubble that was once Los Angeles and quickly reached where Zane and Abby were. When they got there, Dirmon exclaimed, “Oh no, Jin and Ceip are already dead!” The four then landed. “Hey, Nikki! I haven’t seen you in a while! ...Though, I wish we could’ve met under better circumstances.” Zane told Nikki, who he hadn’t seen in six years. Dirmon then introduced the group to each other, as he begun, “Well, it appears everyone here knows who Nikki is, but what you might NOT know is that she’s the Goddess of Light and one of the Four Omegas! The other guy who’s with me is Clyde, the God of Randomness and also one of the Four Omegas! And then, there’s Tiffany, she’s Clyde’s girlfriend that can fire a rainbow beam from her nose!” “A rainbow beam? That sounds familiar!” Zane remarked. Dirmon then faced Clyde and Mega and told them, “That brown haired boy is Zane, he’s the God of the Sky, and that redhead is Abby, the Goddess of the Underworld! They’re also two of the Four Omegas!” “I know who those two are.” Mega told Dirmon. “You do?” Dirmon asked in surprise, as he didn’t know the truth about the woman he was talking to.

Minutes later, Rainbow returned to where Zane, Abby, and now, Dirmon, Nikki, Clyde, and Mega were. “I’m back! I only have to sleep for ten minutes at a time!” Rainbow told them, before noticing the other four that had showed up. He then added, “Look at Dirmon, he brought the last two Omegas to me! It’s time for them to die!” Afterwards, Mega flew towards Rainbow and slapped him in the face, which made Rainbow feel pain. “You are not a human.” Rainbow told her, to which Clyde shouted back, “Yes she is!” Rainbow then used his aura to create a gigantic fireball over his head and proceeded to toss it at the girl, which battered her human form. “That attack was really strong. I’m sorry Clyde, but I can’t take him in this form. I need my full power!” Mega told her boyfriend. “Form?” Clyde asked. Mega then surrounded herself in a bright green aura before transforming into her true form, a black cat. “Woah, she’s actually a black cat!” Clyde exclaimed. Dirmon then told him, “There’s no mistaking it. Clyde, your girlfriend is actually Mega, the God of Life. And I mean god, not goddess. Mega in his true form is male. ...I think so, anyways, I’m no cat expert!” “I am both a god and a goddess, it just depends on what form I take!” Mega told him. Clyde then turned to Mega and told him, “Hey, I’m not breaking up with you regardless of what form you take! Some things might not be so great for us to do when you’re a cat, though!” This made Mega blush, though Rainbow soon reminded the others of his presence when he told the God of Life, “Mega. So you’re Mega. You may be powerful, but let me show you my power!”

Rainbow then fired a red blast of aura at Dirmon, which he attempted to block by creating a wall of stone with his aura. This didn’t work and the attack blasted right through the wall, reducing the God of Earth to a pool of blood. This caused Mega’s jaw to drop. Afterwards, Zane fired a Wind Ball at Rainbow, as Nikki fired a Light Cannon. Rainbow fired another blast, this time at Mega, but he canceled it out with a Beauty Beam. Before long, someone else noticed everything that had happened and flew down towards where the fighting was. It was Georgia. “So Georgia the Goddess of Forests is here. No matter, an added extra changes nothing. All of you will die.” Georgia then began firing a blast of leaves at Rainbow, as Abby would fire a giant fireball at the God of Death. The battle would continue with no side getting the upper hand over the other for a very long time. While there would often be breaks of anywhere from minutes to centuries at a time, the gods would continue fighting like this for the next two hundred million years, as the Four Omegas alongside Georgia and Mega would prevent Rainbow from destroying life on the planet, giving Earth, and humanity, a second chance. This would also leave judging the souls of those who were killed by Rainbow solely on Leila, who remained on Mersunai by herself.

Chapter 10: Humanity's Resistance

In Martinsburg, when the lasers were falling, a man who was shopping was trying to hide, but the building he was in got destroyed. The man had curly black hair, brown eyes, wore a rainbow vest over a dark blue shirt, and wore black pants and black shoes. Everyone around him was dying at a rapid rate from the lasers. Before the man could be disintegrated, by pure luck, Georgia flew down and protected him from the lasers, although this was not intentional. Georgia told herself, “I was too late! I couldn’t get to Earth in time to save it, and I couldn’t even save the hometown of Merlin, the Space God’s reincarnation. Maybe if he were here, this wouldn’t have happened so soon.” Afterwards, she flew off in tears to find where the Four Omegas were. The man roamed, not knowing what had happened or why it had happened, and most of his city was destroyed. He walked into the ruins of his best friend’s house to see if they were still alive, but only ashes remained of them. He then thought to himself, “Maybe my sister is still alive.” Afterwards, he walked towards his house. Martinsburg hardly showed any sign of life, with the only survivors being the occasional stray cat and other small animals who managed to find a good enough hiding spot and not get hit. When he reached the house, nothing remained there either. “Why is everyone I know dead?!” the man asked himself.

After he said this, a severely injured man who was thought to have been dead for six years approached him, and told him, “It was Rainbow, the God of Death.” He looked at the injured man, and he looked to have been hit by multiple lasers, and was missing his right ear and left arm. “Who are you?” the man who wasn’t injured asked. The injured man replied, “I’m Charlie. The adoptive father of Zane, the God of the Sky, hired me to eliminate a bunch of living plushies. Also, do you see how I’m missing an arm and an ear?” “Was that from the lasers?” the other man asked. Charlie responded, “Oh, I wish! They had to remove my arm because my old cat Merlin’s barf burned it to the point that I would’ve bled out if it wasn’t removed. And my ear? My dog Tank blew that thing off with a giant bark. These holes though? Yeah, those are from the lasers.” “Are you alright though?” the other man asked. “I honestly don’t know. There were hospitals around here back when they had me sent to one back when they found me laying on the ground in 2014, when I almost died. Now, however, I don’t even know where to find a functioning hospital. On the bright side, it doesn’t appear that the lasers hit anything vital.” Charlie answered. Afterwards, Charlie stopped to ask the other man, “Oh, I forgot to ask, who are you anyways?” “My name is Will.” the other man responded. “Will? Well, it’s nice to meet you Will!” Charlie told him.

“So, what are you going to do?” Will asked Charlie. “I plan to head to Maryland. That’s where the gods are fighting.” Charlie told him. To this, Will asked, “But aren’t you worried about dying?” Charlie then pointed out, “What do you have to lose? ...Sure, I could lose my life, you could argue that, but there isn’t really anything left to live for, since everything is destroyed.” He then asked Will, “Hey, how about you come with me? If we’re lucky, we might get there during one of Rainbow’s ten minute naps!” “Um, okay.” Will replied. Afterwards, the two started walking.

Two days later, the two reached their destination. Zane noticed Charlie and asked the others, “Hey, is that the guy who tried to act as my doppelganger?” This made Rainbow’s attention turn to the two as he replied, “What doppelganger? ...Oh, THAT guy.” Rainbow then flew towards Charlie and fired a red blast at him, turning him to dust in an instant. Afterwards, the God of Death turned to Will and asked him, “So, who are you and what do you do?” “My name is Will, and I make videos on a channel called Rainbow Whooves.” Will answered. To this, Rainbow replied, “RAINBOW Whooves? How cute! Now die!” He then created a massive fireball and tossed it towards Will, burning him to a crisp, thus ends the story of the survivor of Rainbow Whooves.

After Rainbow wiped out most of humanity, humans were mostly spread far apart. For the first few years, they searched for other humans while surviving by either hunting, gathering, or scavenging the remains of the civilizations that once were, and there was no government that survived. By around 2026, humans began to find each other and settled down near rivers, where they would begin to farm again. At first, there was a language barrier, but overtime, languages evolved to where everyone in a given community could understand what was being said, and as such, many old languages began to die, and new ones would be born. As these communities became more common, the population would begin to increase rather than decrease, and humans would once again begin to form small governments. Unlike humanity’s early days from before the apocalypse, these humans would learn from the knowledge of past civilizations, and would use this to their advantage. By around 2164, towns and small cities that resembled those from around three hundred years prior would begin to form, and by 2276, technology had caught up to how it was in 2020, though the population of humanity still had yet to catch up, as the human race’s numbers only reached the millions, and not billions, and despite their efforts, the natural life on Earth was still struggling to make a bounce-back, so one man in one of Europe’s new countries made a bold suggestion.

“In order for humanity to thrive, we must colonize other planets! Earth’s resources are nothing like how they were before 2020!” the man suggested. This was a man with short silver hair, blue eyes, a wild beard, a white jacket, white pants, and black shoes. “But Jefric, how are we supposed to get that far? We still were just barely able to land on the moon!” a man with long blonde hair, green eyes, and a similar outfit replied. “Hmm... I know! Powin, what if we could harness the power from those that are fighting in that Barren Land?” Jefric responded. To this, Powin replied in shock, “That’s absolutely mad! Do you think of yourself as someone who can harness the power of the gods from Venus?!” “Powin, Powin, Powin. Have you considered that maybe these so-called ‘gods’ are just an advanced race that has harnessed some type of power that we have yet to understand?” Jefric suggested. “That... Hey, you might be onto something!” Powin remarked. From there, Jefric and Powin assembled a team of men and women. “You are to go to the Barren Land and observe the power that the so-called ‘gods’ use! We may be able to uncover some type of secret that will propel humans into the heavens, and make us a spacefaring race!” Jefric told them. The others followed his orders, and they flew across the Atlantic Ocean to a place that was once called Maryland, and was now simply called the Barren Land.

The group arrived in the Barren Land a couple days later, and were lucky enough to arrive while Rainbow was taking a nap. “Hey!” Jefric shouted to get their attention. Georgia flew down and asked them in an annoyed tone, “What do you want now? Don’t you know it’s dangerous here?” “We want to know how you’re able to fly as fast as you do!” Jefric asked the goddess. “I’d love to chat, but we’re too busy trying to stop Rainbow from wiping out your planet. I would suggest you find a way to send a ship to Venus so Leila, the Goddess of Water can help you.” Georgia told him. She then flew back up to where the other gods were. Afterwards, Jefric and Powin’s team left, as they knew that it would be impossible to get more out of Georgia, Mega, and the Four Omegas. When they got back on their plane, Powin asked, “So, we have to go to Venus? I believe I read about one of the civilizations of old sending ships there, but most got destroyed before they could even make it to the surface. The only one that did survive landing ended up breaking down not long after. How are we supposed to send a human there?” “It’s obvious, isn’t it? This isn’t the 20th century anymore, Powin! We just need to make a ship and a suit capable of surviving extreme heat and pressure!” Jefric told them. After they returned to Europe, for years, they would attempt to improve their technology, and while the rest of humanity would focus on Mars, Jefric and Powin would aim for their mission to Venus, or as the gods called it, Mersunai.

Technology would continue improving, and around 2293, humanity had successfully made their first mission to Mars, and they seemed to be unaware of the many souls that were sent to that planet. This success gave humanity hope in Jefric’s mission as well, so they began to take the idea of a mission to Venus more seriously. This mission would outlive Jefric, as in 2298, the scientist would pass away due to complications related to his old age. When his soul reached Mersunai, Leila was there to greet him. “So, let’s see here... Your biggest accomplishment in life is... getting the human race to prepare a mission to here?! I don’t think your job in the world of the living is done yet, so I’m going to twist the rules a bit.” she told him. Afterwards, Leila shined a rainbow light on Jefric, and his body was not only restored, but was made young again. Instead of having silver hair, he now had orange hair. Leila then told him, “If Omega were around, he might get mad at me for this, but I have granted you divinity. Jefric, in your new body, you will now be more powerful, and immune to death by natural causes. I also bestow upon you a title. You are now Jefric, God of Fire! ...Yeah, our last one died a couple centuries ago. For now, you are to remain here, and I will train you on how to be a god.” “Are you Leila?” Jefric asked, to which Leila replied, “Yep, I’m the one Georgia told you about!” On Mersunai, it was frowned upon for a god to reincarnate a deceased soul as another Mersunai god unless the one doing it was Omega himself. Of course, since Omega was nowhere to be found, there was no one to say whether Leila was right or wrong for her decision. As such, the number of Mersunai gods went up from three to four.

Powin continued in Jefric’s footsteps, and in 2302, humanity sent its first manned ship to Venus, with Powin onboard, and in 2304, they landed successfully. The humans with their specialized spacesuits walked out for the first time into the world of the gods. “We did it! We made it to Venus!” Powin cheered along with the other astronauts that were with him. Immediately as they were cheering, Leila and Jefric flew towards them. “Welcome to Mersunai. Your group are among the first mortals to have come to our planet.” Leila told Powin. “You mean there actually is life here?” one of the other astronauts asked. Leila told them, “Well, yes and no. This planet is the home of the gods, but no other life has been able to survive here. Also, the vast majority of us were wiped out by Rainbow, the God of Death. Besides myself, only a few of us remain. Oh, and the one with me is Jefric, he’s the God of Fire!” “Jefric?! Didn’t you die of old age?!” Powin asked in shock, to which Jefric replied, “I did, but Leila reincarnated me as a god!”

Afterwards, there was a brief pause before Powin asked, “So, what’s the secret of how you’re able to fly so fast?” “Our speed and strength comes from the power of our souls, which is called aura. Everyone has aura, but most humans don’t know how to use it. Those of us on Mersunai, however, learn how to use aura very quickly, and due to our inability to die from natural causes, we have a much longer time to be able to train and master it.” the goddess explained. “Do you think it’s possible to use aura for space travel?” Powin asked. Jefric answered this question himself, telling Powin, “It is! With aura, it’s possible to fly at speeds that should be scientifically impossible! It turns everything we thought we knew on its head!” “Really?!” Powin exclaimed. “Yes! If you want, I can teach all of you how to use it as well! If you master aura, you won’t even need spacesuits to survive here.” Leila told them. Afterwards, Leila would begin to train humans who visited Mersunai how to use aura, and would leave Jefric to judge souls that had passed.

The humans would later bring the ability to use aura back to their home planet, which would change the very way life on Earth operated. After Powin passed away in 2326, Leila would reincarnate him as the new God of Earth, and with his and Jefric’s legacy, by 2351, humanity had made it beyond the reach of their solar system, and began sending humans to other star systems. By 2574, humans began colonizing other planets that supported life, meaning that before long, humanity’s survival no longer depended on Earth’s survival. By 3278, humans became a terrifying force to be reckoned with, as their aura gave them the upper hand on other advanced civilizations, and their power would help them, with time, to take over the entire Milky Way Galaxy. Despite their great power, however, none of them held a candle to Jefric, Powin, Leila, Georgia, Mega, Zane, Abby, Nikki, Clyde, or Rainbow. Regardless, the human race’s survival was no longer threatened by Rainbow, as if he were to do another apocalypse on Earth, only a small percentage of humans would perish.

It was sometime far after humanity had expanded into space. In the jungle of an unknown planet, there was a man with no hair who wore a green cap, had green eyes, and wore a brown long sleeved shirt, khakis, and black shoes, and he appeared to be lost. “I appear to have gotten separated from my crew. No worries! I just have to survive on this planet that I know hardly anything about! I’m sure things will be fine!” he told himself with a nervous laugh. This man’s outfit had a nameplate that simply read, “BOB”. This world had soil and skies that were similar to that of Earth, but the grass, bushes, and leaves of the trees had a bluer appearance, and the trees themselves had green bark as opposed to brown. Small creatures unfamiliar to Bob scurried in the blue bushes, as he tried to pull what appeared to be a strange brown mushroom out of the ground. When he did, the ground began shaking. A large creature then came out of the ground as if it had been disturbed from its slumber. This beast was wide like a pig, with brown spotted fur, ears that looked like mushrooms, the eyes of a tiger, and the teeth and claws of one too. This creature also had no tail.

The beast made a bizarre snarl, as Bob exclaimed, “What is that thing?!” The creature leapt at him, which he barely managed to avoid by flying into the air with his aura. “Oh yeah, you wanna play? We’re not as weak as our ancestors were!” Bob told the creature. He then tackled the creature and knocked it to the ground, but not before it could scratch him. Bob would then fly up and grab a branch from a nearby tree and slashed the creature’s neck, ending its life. Bob would then use the leaves of one of the trees, which had a similar texture to a palm leaf, and used it as a bandage to cover his wounds. He then used wood from some of the nearby trees to create a fire, and roasted his kill.

Some time passed before he was finally able to eat, as he heard a voice that he did not recognize ask, “What is this?” This made Bob jump, as he asked back, “Who is that? Are you part of another crew?!” After he asked this, something came out of the bushes. It was a green plush turtle. “I’m not a part of any particular crew, though I am from Earth like you are. My name is Mertle.” “That name and appearance... But that’s impossible! It’s been at least two million years since you disappeared from Earth!” Bob exclaimed. “That is correct, I did leave Earth over two million years ago, and I did so not long after Rainbow wiped out most of the planet. Since then, I have been traveling the universe. Did you know that there have been stranded humans such as yourself that have started whole new civilizations on other planets? I’ve even met a powerful aura user that resides on a nearby planet of the kind I am speaking about. She was a lass named Sapphire who claimed to be the Goddess of the Moon. I was quite shocked.” Mertle told him. Hearing this made Bob ask, “Say, are there other gods besides the ones on Mersunai?” “Well, it’s possible that when the other gods aren’t battling Rainbow for a long time, they might have time to go to other planets. Plus, there may even be gods that predate Mersunai, as the universe is more than double the age of that planet.”

After hearing Mertle say this, Bob asked him, “So, do you have any idea where my crew is?” “You know that creature you killed? Yeah, that thing ate them. I can take you to a nearby civilized planet if you’d like though.” Mertle told him. Hearing this news left Bob in shock, and he paused for a moment before telling the ancient turtle, “I think I’ll take you up on that offer.” “Alright then.” Mertle told him as a rainbow aura flared from him. He then picked up Bob, and the two flew into outer space. “By the way, is your name short for Robert?” Mertle asked. “No, it’s short for Boberunto.” Bob told him. “I think Bob suits you better.” Mertle told him. Afterwards, Mertle dropped Bob off on a planet that Earthlings colonized. This planet lived in a similar fashion to how those on Earth did during the 15th century, with few technologies from after that time period existing there for most of the population, though a small handful of the population did had access to technology from other Earthling colonies. The inhabitants of this planet also had access to aura, which they heavily relied on for both combat and healing. “It seems like this planet has gotten too comfortable with aura. Have they forgotten that technology is a thing as well? I guess this is what happens when a group of humans lose contact with Earth. Either that, or they think they’re too good for science.” Mertle told himself before he began flying away.

As he attempted to fly further though, there was a bright flash, and at that moment, a woman appeared before the old turtle. She had long blue hair, part of which formed two blue loops at the top of her head, blue eyes, and wore a long white and yellow robe, along with a golden crown that had a round pale white gem at its center. In the woman’s hand was a staff that had the appearance of a crescent moon at the top. “Who was the human that you just dropped off on our planet?” the woman asked him. “That was Boberunto, or Bob for short. He said he was part of a crew from Earth, but all of his other crew mates ran into a wild preacher. ...Or was it a creature? Yeah, it was definitely a creature. Anyways, they got eaten by a wild beast.” Mertle explained. “Why didn’t you take him back to Earth?” the woman asked. “You’re the Goddess of the Moon, aren’t you? I was created by Omega. You know I wouldn’t do anything to harm the gods, Sapphire.” “I’m sorry, I’m still new at this. I just took Luna’s place eighteen years ago. I’m only 22.” The goddess replied in a sorrowful tone.

“Also, I know this isn’t my place, but I have another question. Why don’t you go to Earth and help the other gods fight Rainbow?” Mertle asked. “If I did that, I would have to leave my parents and friends, and there would be no one to guide the healers of this world.” Sapphire told him. Mertle then stared at a purple gem that was on her person that was barely noticeable, before he remarked, “I take it you’ve met Mega before, haven’t you? That gem you’re wearing was created by Omega himself. Only those approved by him or Mega can wear it.” “Okay, fine, you win. If humanity is attacked by Rainbow again, I’ll help the others. I can’t guarantee my mother, who is still stronger than me, will be alive by then.” Sapphire told him. “Thank you, Sapphire. You’ve grown a lot since I’ve first seen you. Well, I’ll see you some other time!” Mertle responded. Afterwards, the old turtle flew away. Sapphire then began to cry to herself, “I don’t want to die... Why does it have to be this way?” After this, Bob would live out the rest of his days in the same town that Sapphire was born in, which was home to four of that planet’s heroes.

Sapphire had only been a goddess for eighteen years, having become one when she was only four. Before this, she was a healer, and was on a quest with three others to fight powerful beasts that were threatening their planet. During this journey, she fought against Luna, a powerful woman who claimed to be the Moon Goddess, but did not have approval from the gods of Mersunai. Luna attacked them with a golem she created from blue stones and gems, but the four destroyed it, which caused Luna to become humiliated, so she would give her powers and title to Sapphire. Later on, Sapphire and her allies bought mysterious purple gems from a strange merchant in the desert that had some of Omega’s power, gems that had come directly from Mersunai. The four were able to use these gems due to approval being given to them by a certain black cat who had been watching them, Mega, the God of Life. The four then proceeded to save their world and became known as heroes. About a decade after their quest, when Sapphire was 14, Mega heard about her claim of being a goddess. Mega, instead of getting angry, simply told her that she had the power of one, but did not have a divine title yet. After he told her this, he would change that by properly bestowing upon her the title of Goddess of the Moon, recognizing her as a goddess of Mersunai, despite her never having been to that planet.

Chapter 11: Omega's Return & the End of the Universe

It was now 200,002,094 AD. Humanity now expanded across a vast part of the universe, with a population that was too high to count. Although Earth had stopped being a popular planet for humans to live on long ago, some humans still remained on Earth, which had a population of around ten billion. That would change, however, on a certain day that year, when Rainbow caught Georgia off guard. “Finally, an opening! Die!” Rainbow told her as he fired a red blast at the goddess. She was reduced to nothing but blood, which would shower across the Barren Land. Afterwards, Rainbow looked around and noted, “Hmm... There appears to be a few TOO many humans. Let me fix that. Apocalypse!” Afterwards, Rainbow created his familiar red ring around the Earth, and the skies turned red. Lasers once again began bombarding the Earth, and highly advanced cities were destroyed in a matter of minutes. As the attack covered the entire planet, there was no way for humans on Earth to escape, so before long, the vast majority of them that were left on the planet were killed off. After the lasers stopped falling, only 1,047 humans remained on Earth. This would hardly matter, however, as most of humanity was no longer located on Earth. As such, humans from some of the nearby planets would fly to Earth to provide aid to the humans that survived. “Alright, that’s enough fighting for now. Bye for now!” Rainbow told the five gods that still stood before him. “That was the longest fight of my life.” Mega stated, to which Zane asked, “Just how many years passed?” “Honestly, I can’t even keep count anymore.” Abby replied. “Is this what it means to be a god? To fight for millions of years, and still be unable to save people? Why do things have to be like this?” Nikki asked. After they said this, Leila flew down and told them, “They don’t have to be.”

“What do you mean by that?” Mega asked the Goddess of Water. “I’m saying that maybe we could help Earth more directly, as well as Mersunai.” Leila suggested. “How so?” Zane asked. “We could make the humans of Earth and the gods of Mersunai become one race.” Leila replied. “Are you suggesting what I think you’re suggesting?” Clyde asked. “Yes, it might sounds like an uncomfortable thought, but I am indeed suggesting what you probably think I am.” Leila replied. Afterwards, Mega turned into his human form, which she hadn’t been able to use as often except for during pauses in her fight with Rainbow, and the Goddess of Life replied, “I understand. There are just over a thousand of them, and only eight of us, so it only makes sense. We can assure the survival of both Earth and Mersunai this way!” “That’s the spirit I like to see! Mega, let’s create as many human-god hybrids as we can!” Leila replied, and the two flew away, leaving the Four Omegas dumbfounded. “They...” Abby began, “Really...” Clyde continued “Intend to...” Zane added next, before Nikki ended, “Do that with mortals.” “Is this really okay?!” Clyde exclaimed.

For thousands of years, the gods and goddesses of Mersunai, with the exception of Sapphire, would succeed in Leila’s plan, doing so with any human who was willing to help them execute their plan. In some cases, this would also happen with humans that didn’t live on Earth as well that were just visiting. After around ten thousand years, there were almost no humans remaining on Earth that were purely of human descent, as most had a Mersunai or mixed ancestor somewhere in their family’s past. This resulted in a new race of super humans that were immune to death by natural causes, and that were exceptionally strong and fast, on par or greater than Leila, Mega, Jefric, Powin, and Sapphire. The only ones that were stronger than them were the Four Omegas and Rainbow, the five gods other than Sapphire that did not go along with Leila’s plan. In essence, the humans of Earth and the gods of Mersunai had become one, with humans having ascended beyond the confines of mortality. By all means, Earthlings had become gods. In 200,054,185, Rainbow once again used his Apocalypse attack, but almost no one died, as the human race had become too strong for that to be effective, and even when humans did get injured, Sapphire would heal them with her aura. “So, humans truly have become gods. I wonder how Omega would have felt about this?” Rainbow asked himself. After this, Rainbow would begin to attack the new gods, but with the combined force of them and the old gods, Rainbow could not do any lasting damage.

This cycle would continue for millions of years, which, for the humans of the past would have been an extremely long time, but for these new humans, a million years was a trivial amount of time. This continued until 702,371,831, when Rainbow snapped. “If they can create their own race of gods, I too will have to do the same! Prepare to have a taste of your own medicine!” Afterwards, Rainbow created a large aura across the sky and create a new species in his image, which he called brown bears. These were not like the brown bears that humans were familiar with, however. Each bear was on the same level as the gods, and before long, the race of gods had seen a sharp decrease in their population, dropping from twenty-five billion to only five billion, with Sapphire being one of those casualties. Afterwards, Rainbow broke most of the continents of Earth into islands, leaving only one continent which he would rule over, and for two hundred million more years, he would become untouchable.

The year was 900,001,943, when a familiar team of six got tired of the endless cycle of death under Rainbow’s powerful empire. The team of the Four Omegas, Mega, and Leila attacked Rainbow on the continent, fighting against brown bears as well as the many gods he ruled over. Zane would blow away his enemies with blasts of frigid wind, Abby would burn them with her powerful flames. Nikki would blast away the dark forces with light, as Clyde would use his strength to knock them into the afterlife. Mega would sharpen his arms and fire his Beauty Beam, and Leila would flood the fields with water, in a battle that would last for ninety-eight million years before they would reach Rainbow’s Castle in 998,013,153. From there, it would only take a few thousand more years until Clyde found a strange sword. “What’s this?” he asked himself as he grabbed it. The sword then flashed in a brilliant light, and it shined like a mix of diamonds and gold. Once he got the sword, he slashed through the brown bears and other gods, and the sword made him become so powerful that within ten minutes, him and the other gods would be before Rainbow once again.

“You six still live?” Rainbow asked Zane, Abby, Nikki, Clyde, Mega, and Leila in shock. To this, Zane replied, “Yes, but you won’t live for much longer! Your cycle of death and destruction will end!” This caused Rainbow to fly into a rage, as he screamed, “Fools! Do you seriously think you can fight me and live to tell the tale?! You will all die in the hands of I, Rainbow!” After saying this, he fired a red blast at Leila, whose blood would flow like water on the floors of the bear’s castle. Afterwards, an ominous dark blue aura began to form around Rainbow, as Mega shouted to the Four Omegas, “Hurry! You must fly to Mars!” The four listened, and they flew out of the castle as quickly as possible before they flew towards the red planet, which they would surround with a barrier of their combined aura. After they did this, Rainbow’s dark blue aura expanded not only across Earth, but across the entire universe. Every atom and molecule of the universe would be changed, humans would turn into dolls, oxygen would turn into chlorine, and almost every being in the universe would die, including Jefric, and Powin. The only survivors of this final apocalypse would be Mega, Mertle, Emerald, Vanilla, Moony, the Four Omegas, and Rainbow himself. After nearly a billion years, Rainbow had almost created his perfect world. “Finally, peace at last.” Rainbow told himself. “This is terrible.” Mega told himself. Rainbow paid him no mind, and for over a million years, there would be silence across the universe.

It was now 1,000,001,993, when the seal on the memories of the Four Omegas shattered. Zane began glowing in a turquoise aura as he began, “It’s time.” Then, Abby began glowing in a flaming red aura and continued, “To fuse.” After this, Nikki glowed in a bright yellow aura and added, “And once again.” Lastly, Clyde glowed in violet aura and ended with, “Be Omega.” Afterwards, the aura of the four would become rainbow colored, and would join together until they became one, and the combination of the four created a flash that illuminated the universe and reversed every part of what Rainbow had done, with the exception for restoring the lives that were lost. “Is it possible?!” Rainbow exclaimed, as Mega for the first time in ages began to have hope. After the light faded, in the place of the four that were once on Mars, there was instead a rainbow cat with glowing white eyes. Omega, the God of Creation had returned.

When Mega’s hope returned, he confronted Rainbow and told him, “You will pay! My father will kill you!” “Keep dreaming! Omega disappeared a long time ago!” Rainbow replied with a laugh. Just as he said this, however, the rainbow cat flew into the castle and appeared before the two. “I’m hungry.” Omega complained. After saying this, Omega extended his jaw around Rainbow, as the God of Death screamed, “What in the universe?! Nooooo-!” Rainbow was then cut off by Omega closing his jaw, and afterwards, the rainbow cat swallowed his enemy. “...W-what just happened?” Mega asked in disbelief. Omega told his son, “We are the only two left on this planet. Let’s leave this place.” Omega then left the castle that was once Rainbow’s as Mega followed, and both would leave Earth’s atmosphere into outer space. After the two left the planet, Omega extended his jaw around it and ate Earth. Afterwards, he flew to Mars and Mersunai and ate them as well. Next, he flew to the sun and ate it. “That one was a bit on the spicy side!” Omega told Mega, as his size began to grow. Afterwards, Omega would fly out of the Milky Way Galaxy. “Are you about to-?!” Mega was about to ask before his father extended his jaw around the whole galaxy, and he proceeded to eat it. After doing this, Omega began to extend his jaw over what was a seemingly infinite distance. Mega immediately realized what was happening, so he screamed, “No, father! Don’t eat the universe!” The rainbow cat would ignore this, and would proceed to eat the entire universe in one big bite.

Afterwards, there was nothing but an empty void, and in it, Mega and Omega. Mega then asked, “Father, you ate the uni...verse?” as he looked up and saw his father’s massive size. Omega was now at a size far larger than even the largest galaxy, while Mega was still the same size as he was before. Omega then answered, “I had to! Only us and a few plushies were left, and we can all live without a universe, so I ate it!” This left Mega speechless. Afterwards, the two searched for a while until they found the only planet in the entire universe that Omega had missed, a planet with a marble surface that was over five times larger than the sun. “Well, at least there’s one planet left.” Mega stated. “We will live here! I will name this planet Kero!” Omega declared. Afterwards, Mega would live on this planet, as Omega stayed near. The two lived a mostly boring existence for a very long time, as it was only the two of them. For some reason, the sky of Kero was always blue and never turned dark.

So much time passed, that Mega and Omega lost track of how long it had been, and it was just over a trillion years later that Omega began feeling sick, something that should have been impossible for him. “I don’t feel well...” Omega told Mega, who replied, “Please be okay!” Afterwards, Omega vomited a massive rainbow, and from that rainbow, two universes were created, and the universes that were created were opposites of each other. “Woah, you created TWO universes?! That’s even better than one!” Mega exclaimed. “I shall call one the Posi-Verse, and the other shall be the Nega-Verse.” Omega told his son. Omega had shrunk down considerably, and was now only about forty times larger than the sun. What Omega did not know was that this also created a new opposite of himself, this time, being an inverted rainbow furred cat with white eyes named Dark Omega, the God of Destruction.

Billions of years later, in the Posi-Verse, Omega would shine his rainbow light and give life to four planets that orbited the same star. The planet that was fourth away from the star was an icy planet. The planet that was second away was a hot and dry planet. The planet that was closest to the star would have a charcoal surface with rivers of lava. Lastly, the planet that was the third away from this star was a planet that was similar to Earth. On these planets, he would create races in the image of those from Earth and Mersunai, and he also created a race of cats in the image of himself and Mega. Three of these planets had humans, those being the dry planet of Mexiki, the cold planet of Winteria, and the earth-like planet of Illisia. On the charcoal planet, a species of humanoid beings that were lava-based instead of water-based with an exterior of charcoal would instead become the dominant race, and that planet would be known as Nutnutnutnut. As for the race of cats created in the image of Omega and Mega, with any fur color that one could imagine and beyond, those would reside on Illisia. Both the humans and cats of Illisia would have a form that functioned similar to the Light of Life when they were pushed to the extreme, with the humans blazing in an orange aura, and the cats glowing in a yellow aura.

Epilogue

One day, during the beginnings of Illisian civilization, Mertle flew down to Illisia’s surface and met with one of their kings. This king had very light skin, green eyes, short blood red hair, and a green regal outfit that included a blue cape. “Hello, your majesty. What might your name be?” Mertle asked the king. “I am King Molin of the Kingdom of Central Illisia. The better question is, who are you? I’ve never seen a turtle or a toy that flies or talks like you do!” the king replied. Mertle responded, “Ah, that is a long story. It all began over one trillion years ago...” Mertle then told the Illisian king the story of the previous universe, of Omega and Rainbow, the Four Omegas, of the gods of Mersunai, of Plush Land, of Earth, of the many time Rainbow ended the world, and eventually, of his defeat by the jaw of Omega, the end of the old universe, and the birth of the universe he was in. This was a story that Mertle the turtle was able to tell because he had lived through it all. That is why this tale was called Mertle’s Legend. This legend would be passed on for many generations on Illisia, would spread to the other three planets, and, billions of years after Illisia was destroyed, this legend would be told on Momu and Umom as well.

Continuity Notes regarding the first four chapters and Plush Land

There are inconsistencies between Plush Land and this story. This is because I made errors while writing Plush Land, so this page exists to clear up confusion. Feel free to skip this page if you don’t care about this kind of thing.

First of all, Plush Land will have you believe that Mega came to Earth in 1998. This was an error, he was supposed to come to Earth in 1993, but I mixed up the years.

(Note 1: The main events of Plush Land begin on May 2006. There will be things from that story mentioned in this story, but to see the full story of Plush Land from after Vanilla’s birth until January 2014, please check out Plush Land. Most of what will be shown here from that span of time will be what is related to this story.)

(Note 2: According to Plush Land, the Top Predator would have been reincarnated at the beginning of 2013. That was an error due to bad math. That story said three months, when it actually should have said fifteen months.)

(Note 3: This is where Plush Land ended. This battle with Rainbow actually first appeared in Plush Land, but it was important enough to the plot of Mertle’s Legend that I included it here as well. This time, we get to see some parts that we did not get to see in Plush Land.)
